HenshinJustice.com Interviews Dino Charge Executive Producer Judd Lynn

Posted on August 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm by Chris under Conventions, Power Morphicon, Power Rangers

Our friends at HenshinJustice.com have landed an exclusive interview with the executive producer of the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge season, Judd Lynn! In the interview, Judd discusses things from how he came to become the new executive producer (replacing Jonathon Tzachor), his familiarity with the source material Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, the skipped series Go-Busters, and of course, Koichi Sakamoto.

Click here to check out the interview! Our friends online have been searching for any and all Power Rangers Dino Charge news, and speculation has the show beginning to film in October 2014 for the first 22 episode run in early 2015. We will most likely have more concrete details once next week’s Power Morphicon happens.

Austin St. John Teases Possibility of Returning to Power Rangers

Posted on August 6, 2014 at 8:10 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

With the upcoming season finale of Power Rangers Super Megaforce, we will see the return of many cast members from previous seasons of Power Rangers, including the likes of Jason Faunt, Melody Perkins, Danny Slavin, Hector David Jr., Britney Pirtle, Patricia Lee, Reggie Rolle, Sean Johnson, Alison MacInnis, Selwyin Ward, and of course, Jason David Frank. But with the announcement of a new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie and the next series to be produced, a dinosaur themed show titled Power Rangers Dino Charge, a lot of fans have been clamoring for more Rangers to return – specifically as many of the original cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as possible.

And while nothing is guaranteed or promised, one can only assume that the powers of Saban Brands would not only like to keep the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the spotlight for as long as possible, but would love for an opportunity to bring back as many older fans to the franchise as possible. And the best way to do that is to bring back some of their classic heroes – and one that has been picking up steam in terms of popularity is none other than the original Red Ranger, Austin St. John.

On his official Facebook page, Austin St. John posted just the other day something that should get all the fans excited and pumped – ”IF” he were to return, would you want him in the show, the movie, and what would his role be? He specifically mentions that the powers that be are watching his page. If you want the original back to action, this is where you as a fan have to step up and take part!

Click here to see his Facebook page – be sure to “Like” it! And once you’ve done that, help spread the word to all the other Power Rangers fans out there – ”Like” and “Share” this post about his possible return! Who wouldn’t love to see Austin St. John return as the Silver Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Charge? Who says Bragigas can’t be a new Titanus? Help spread the word and let’s bring back the original Power Ranger!

Talkin Toku Episode 13 Released – Why Not Zoidberg?

Posted on July 9, 2014 at 2:31 pm by Chris under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, San Diego Comic Con, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates

It’s time to talk some toku with the latest release from the Talkin Toku Podcast – Episode 013 “Why Not Zoidberg?”. Join Kickback, Den-O, special guest hosts baltmatrix and MonkieRanger, as well as two more “surprise” guests as they attempt to talk Kamen Rider Gaim, Power Rangers Dino Charge, and San Diego Comic Con 2014 news and rumors (which have all been debunked as of this morning, hooray!).

Find out what’s going on with all the Zoidberg talk as the gang discusses how to make Power Rangers Dino Charge the best series of all time. There’s an Arms Change missing from Kamen Rider Gaim – and the crew thinks Bill Cosby can fill that void. The gang spends a lot of time discussing the details of the plot of Kamen Rider Gaim leading up to and including Episode 35.

But with a grand total of six hosts on the show at once? You know it’s just going to fall apart. And fall apart it does – but in a way that guarantees you’ll be laughing. Be on the look out for a special video commemorating this episode to be released VERY soon! Take a listen! Stick around till the end for bloopers and things that we cut from the show but decided to include at the end.

Posted on June 27, 2014 at 1:06 pm by Chris under Power Rangers, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates

The boys are back from their crossover adventure with the release of Episode 12 – Lord Zedd Interview and Talkin Dino Charge! Talk some toku with your hosts Chris/Kickback, Jordan/Den-O, and Tom/Sentai Tamashii! In this week’s episode, Chris conducts the first ever Talkin Toku Interview with none other than Robert Axelrod, the voice of Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Special thanks to Denver Comic Con for helping set up and coordinate a time and place for the interview. Chris also shares his thoughts on Denver Comic Con.

To round off the episode the guys keep the topic on Power Rangers, and more specifically discuss a couple of Power Rangers Monday articles – namely what do we want to see adapted in to Power Rangers Dino Charge from Kyoryuger and what else would we have liked to see adapted from Super Sentai in general in to Power Rangers? It’s a fun conversation as our hopes for a great season with Power Rangers Dino Charge especially with Judd Lynn at the helm show up in the conversation. Take a listen to the episode below and join in the discussion!

Power Rangers Dino Charge at Licensing Expo 2014 via @RangerCrew

Posted on June 17, 2014 at 12:06 am by Chris under Conventions, Other Conventions, Power Rangers

Our good friend Fury Diamond from RangerCrew.com is hard at work at this year’s Licensing Expo to bring us the first look and first official information on next year’s series Power Rangers Dino Charge! We’ve included one image of suit actors at the show, but for the rest of the pictures we ask that you please head over to the official blog of RangerCrew by clicking this link here.

Dino Charge Power Rangers RangerCrew

The official story line is as follows:

The Power Rangers franchise return with brand-new “dino charged” action. On prehistoric Earth, an alien entrusted powerful Energems to 12 dinosaurs for protection but when the dinosaurs went extinct, the Energems were lost. Now an intergalactic bounty hunter is determine to reclaim the gems and destroy our planet. A new team of Power Rangers must find the lost Energems and use their Dino Charges to power an arsenal of dino-fueled weapons, zords, and Megazords to save the world.

The next series of Power Rangers will be based off of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, which finished airing in Japan earlier this year, though there are some reports that the story will also feature some elements from the series that was skipped, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. What, if any, role that plays has yet to be seen. We will keep you updated with any information as it comes available.

Please make sure to check out RangerCrew.com, Samuraicast Blog, and the official RangerCrew.com Twitter, @RangerCrew to keep up on the updates as they occur. Special thanks again to Fury Diamond for all his hard work!

Power Rangers Dino Charge Casting Details- Judd Lynn Returning As Executive Producer?

Posted on April 4, 2014 at 3:41 pm by Paladin under Power Rangers

The good people at RangerCrew have been closely following the recent casting details for 2015’s “Power Rangers Dino Charge.”

A casting sheet released today lists the Executive Producer of this new series as “Judd Lynn,” a veteran Power Rangers writer responsible for a number of fan-favorite seasons (Lynn was primary story editor for Power Rangers from the second half of Turbo through Time Force & returned again for the latter half of RPM). This may be the first indication that Dino Charge will be working with a different production crew & potentially an exiting new direction for Power Rangers!

In addition the available casting page reveals biographical details for EIGHT Dino Charge Rangers (a high amount for Power Rangers fans, surprisingly low for fans of Dino Charge’s source material, Kyoryuger). Could these details provide an accurate description of the 2015 Heroes? Only time will tell!

Power Rangers Dino Charge Casting Side Now Available

Posted on April 3, 2014 at 12:17 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

The auditions for the next cast of Power Rangers, known as Power Rangers Dino Charge (based off the recently-finished Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger) have been posted and are available to view at our good friends at RangerCrew.com. Come take a read and see how Kyle and Sarah interact. It’s important to note that casting sides are not indicative of what the final names for characters will be, nor do they hint at any type of story that the show will be focusing on. They are simply used to get actors and actresses to act a certain scene, usually to help the casting directors decide who is suited for a second round for what they’re really looking for.

Again, to check out the casting side, head over to this thread at RangerCrew.com. A special thanks to @Morphin_K on Twitter and our good buddy Fury Diamond.

This is easily assumed to be the second season of the upcoming and recently announced Power Rangers Dino Charge.

What are your thoughts on the naming scheme of the second half of Power Rangers Dino Charge? Are you excited for it, or are you tired of the use of the word “super” with everything? Sound off!
