We’re less than four months away from the Official Power Morphicon Convention. And as to their usual trend, the folks at the convention have updated with some new guests – 12 to be exact – and the unfortunate news that one guest has had to cancel. While “Power Rangers Super Megaforce” remains on hiatus, this brief bit of new material came online today & gives us all a brief hint as to what happens off-camera for the Megaforce Rangers!

And while the wait continues for new episodes, reruns of “Super Megaforce” will air on Nickelodeon Saturdays at 12pm EST!

GO GO MEGAFORCE! 

As reported by Silconera, we might be getting a game based Super Megaforce continuing the trend of yearly Power Rangers video games

The game is described as having on foot segments as well as Megazord battles so it seems feasible that game will reuse the same engine from the Megaforce game released last year.

Seventh Chord will be the ones behind this game in our fandom, they’re known as the makers of All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation and Kamen Rider: Travelers Senki.  Supposedly, we’ll see the game released  this Fall.

Austin St. John, better known as Jason Lee Scott the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger and Zeo Gold Ranger recently returned to the fandom after being gone for many years while serving as a medic in the middle east. Through his official Facebook page he has done another audio clip, this time answering some of the more burning questions that fans have been asking on his page.

Why did he decline the 20th Anniversary reunion episode in Power Rangers Super Megaforce? What conventions will he be attending, and are any overseas? Would he be open to returning to the Power Rangers franchise? These questions and more are answered in this audio clip below! And many fans can’t help but notice a slight “dig” at Jason David Frank, which would stem from a long feud between the two actors which stem mostly from comments made redundantly by Jason David Frank at nearly every convention appearance. Orion, the mysterious Silver Ranger, explains his past to Gosei and the Rangers and how he obtained the Silver Ranger Key.

Even when the news is bad, you can always find a silver lining. The Power Rangers Super Megaforce find their silver lining this coming Saturday with the episode “Silver Lining Part 1”. This episode features the premiere of the 6th Ranger, the Silver Ranger. Thanks to our good buddy Fury Diamond and his Samurai Cast Blog, you can check out this awesome preview clip below.

The Silver Ranger is played by Cameron Jebo. For those who have not seen the Super Sentai show Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (which is what Power Rangers Super Megaforce is based on), he has some pretty cool Power Rangers that he gets to use during his legendary morphs. Not to be outdone by the official reveal of the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger yesterday, Saban Brands has officially released it’s marketing teaser for the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Fall 2014 lineup. Much of this video showcases Saban Brands worldwide extent in toys & licensing, and focuses on Megaforce & Super Megaforce up to where we are now.
