8th Annual Toku Toy Box Winners Revealed!

Posted on January 4, 2020 at 11:15 am by Den-O under Uncategorized

The 8th annual Toku Toy Box Giveaway has come to an end! With a total of over 50 galleries posted in the year 2019 making our users eligible for entry, it was anyone’s game to win. As with previous years, we’ve dispensed with doing large prize packs for a small number of winners, in favor of opening things up so we can split multiple prizes up among multiple winners. That means that for the 2019 into 2020 giveaway celebrating our 8th anniversary, we have 8 winners total!!

And once again, we wanted your prizes to be total surprises. So the winners won’t know what they’re getting, until it arrives! It’s our way of giving the community a belated Secret Santa each year. The only thing that we ask, as always, is that if a prize is something you already own or do not want, please pay it forward. We’d just ask that you pass the good will along to someone else who could use a little good luck to kick their new year off right.

Now, without further adieu, the 8 winners of the 8th Toku Toy Box are:

– Denshin48
– Kurona
– gabriev28
– EpsilonX
– KaijuUltraFan
– Electric Turahk
– maxlovesamber
– Nemesis251

Each of you can expect a PM shortly informing you of your victory and requesting your shipping address! And please let us know when your prizes arrive with a post in our recent hauls thread or on he social media of your choosing. Just make sure to tag us! And of course, CONGRATULATIONS!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Cybervillain Blaze Gallery

Posted on May 28, 2019 at 11:19 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“How about another karate lesson, Devon?”

With the raw power of the Morphin’ Grid tapped, Grid Battleforce seeks to create a new generation of Power Rangers! 3 Recruits are chosen and their leader, their red ranger, will be none other than Blaze. Or he would have been. Thanks to the viral villain Evox, the Morph is hijacked and ranger recruits Roxy & Blaze become something far more sinister. Their bodies left in comas and their mind’s copied, these dark reflections of their true selves are loyal only to Evox, given the ability to morph into their own dark ranger Avatars….

Cybervillain Blaze joins the ever growing line up of the Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Line. Another real winner from Wave 1, Blaze gives your Red Ranger a rival at last, though Roxy is hitting store shelves currently as well. Blaze shares many of his design cues with the Basic Tronic, like the hip design, but this radically evil ranger has a presence all his own. Armed with his own Blaze Saber, Blaze Beast Blaster, and Blaze Morph X Key, this figure should be a welcome addition to any Beast Morphers (Or Go-Busters!) collection.

See our full 40 image gallery as well as full review of 6″ Basic Cybervillain Blaze after the jump. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the full thread. In our next trip to the Morphin’ Grid, we find out what a certain old Emperor of Evil has been up to with Hasbro’s Lightning Collection line…

Beast Morphers: 6″ Silver Ranger, Red Fury Red Ranger, & more Revealed

Posted on May 23, 2019 at 3:13 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

“Unleash the beast!”

Thanks to Twitter user @Martian_Ranger new press images are now circulating for 3 new Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic figures!

– 6″ Basic Silver Ranger
– 6″ Basic Red Ranger (Red Fury Mode)
– 6″ Basic Drilltron

This figure for Red Fury Mode provides our first official look at the power up for this season’s Red Ranger. We saw some filming images of this power up a few months back, but had no confirmation of it’s name or anything else about it before now. though it definitely takes inspiration from Red Buster’s Power Custom mode, this is an entirely new design. Likewise this is our first look at any figure for the Silver Ranger in this series’ toyline. Rounding out the trio is another really fantastic looking villain figure, Drilltron!

On top of this new, Martian Ranger has also discovered press photos for the upcoming Electronic Beast-X Ultrazord as well as the roleplay weapon for the Red Ranger’s Red Fury Mode, the Electronic Cheetah Claw!

Pricing and release windows for these new additions have not been made public as of yet, but we’ll keep you informed when they do.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Tronic Gallery

Posted on May 3, 2019 at 4:16 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

To dominate the Morphin Grid & the real world, the sinister virus Evox has demanded the servitude of Scrozzle and his army of Tronic soldiers! Cold, lifeless machines, the Tronic’s battle the Power Rangers of Coral Harbor at every turn. While they aren’t as powerful as Robotron’s, their sheer numbers can make things difficult for our heroes.  Thankfully for collectors, you can build your own army of the mechanical monsters with the 6″ Basic Tronic Figure!

The 6″ Tronic is the first troop builder villain from Hasbro and luckily has been hitting retail in decent numbers allowing many collectors to get as many as they need. Fortunately for us, Hasbro was kind enough to provide us with one for free as part of their Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer. With much of the same standard articulation as the 3 rangers released so far, the Tronic is another great basic figure to add to your collection. Armed with two Tronic Blasters and a Tronic Morph X Key this figure will antagonize your Rangers or compliment your Blaze quite well.

We’ve attached the full 40 image gallery to this post but you can also check out our full review by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back next week with a gallery of the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer Unboxing Gallery

Posted on April 27, 2019 at 5:21 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Unleash the beast!”

Since it was officially announced back in February 2018 that Hasbro (the massive toy company behind Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, and much more) was picking up the Power Rangers master license from Saban Brands & Bandai America, fans wondered what the future of the brand would look like. But shortly after that initial announcement, Hasbro let the world know what the Power Rangers series was headed for with Power Rangers Beast Morphers! In recent months the show has begun airing, and in fact just went on hiatus with this weekend’s introduction of the Gold Ranger! With a fresh new take on the TV show thriving, it’s good to know that the toyline is as well!

With Hasbro taking over the master license for the brand, the toyline has completely changed. While still based in practice on the designs crafted for it’s Super Sentai equivalent, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, without Bandai America involved this line has been rethought from the ground up. In light of this seismic shift in the way the Power Rangers toyline is designed and approached now, Hasbro has also decided to reach out to numerous fan sites, toy reviewers, and other prolific members of the Power Rangers fan community to foster some good will towards the new line. To that point, I & and the entire TokuNation team are proud to be included among these individuals. Hasbro has generously provided a product review mailer for us to sample the entire initial wave of Beast Morphers toys! This product mailer was 100% free and shipped to us at no cost whatsoever, it is truly a gift from Hasbro. One we incredibly and deeply appreciate.

TokuNation has been around for going on 8 years now and I’ve been doing toy reviews/galleries for this site for nearly that entire time. To say I and we are honored, would be an understatement. A toy company has never personally reached out to me before in order to review their products. So I accept this rather graciously. While I’ll be reviewing every item in this product mailer individually in the coming weeks, I wanted to take today to simply break down the contents of this generous gift on the whole, and present the wonderful packaging it was sent in. Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” for a full gallery and breakdown of the Beast Morphers Product Mailer”. You can expect our first gallery of figure’s contained within it, early next week!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Red Ranger Gallery

“Unleash the Beast!”

Was it chance or fate that Devon Daniels just happened to sneak into Grid Battleforce headquarters on the day that the villainous Evox infiltrated it? Planning to turn the soon to be Power Rangers into his avatar puppets, Evox struck and succeeded with two potential heroes. But thanks to Devon, Ravi, & Zoey, Evox hasn’t won yet. To stop the avatars Blaze & Roxy the latest generation of teenagers with attitude harness the power of Morph X to become the Power Rangers!

The Beast Morphers toyline has officially kicked off in Canada and the US! Meaning collector’s all over are beginning to see these toys in the wild for the first time. Some of the first products being spotted at most retail stores are the 6″ Basic Figure Wave 1 assortment. The Red Ranger from this assortment kicks the line off really nicely and sets the bar a lot higher than any ranger figure’s from Bandai America ever did at this price point. The new 6″ scale is a welcome change to most, there’s better articulation than what we used to get, no more steroid muscle proportions and these figure’s actually come with multiple accessories! Like the Beast X Saber, Cheetah Beast Blaster, and a Morph X Key!

We’ve assembled over 65 images of the 6″ Basic Red Ranger in this gallery. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to our full review thread. Our next Beast Morphers gallery will feature none other than Cyber Villain Blaze!

Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Figure Assortment & Beast-X Morpher Official Images

Posted on February 8, 2019 at 2:12 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

Via Screen Rant we have our first look at the brand new 6″ Basic Figure Assortment from Power Rangers Beast Morphers! In what’s already shaping up to be a fantastic improvement over figure’s of lines in years’ past, the 6″ Basic figure assortment includes 3 Rangers & 2 villains!

When scientists convert the power of the Morphing Grid into Morph-X, a group of teens are infused with animal DNA to become the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS and protect the Morph-X from any villains who may try to steal it. The figures in the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS BASIC FIGURES Assortment stand at 6 inches tall, feature multiple points of articulation, and includes 2 accessories so kids can imagine the martial arts action of the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS TV show. Plus, with the included Morph-X key, kids can imagine unlocking powers in the Beast-X Morpher toy. The assortment includes the RED RANGER Figure, BLUE RANGER Figure, YELLOW RANGER Figure, CYBERVILLAIN BLAZE Figure and TRONIC Figure. Imagine the CYBERVILLAIN BLAZE and TRONIC Figures commanding the forces of Evox to steal the Morph-X and have the RED, BLUE and YELLOW RANGER Figures fighting to protect the Morph-X! Find other POWER RANGERS figures and gear, including POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS toys, to expand the morphinominal action. Each sold separately. Available at most major toy retailers nationwide.

On top of this massive reveal, Screen Rant has also exclusively released images of the upcoming roleplay toy to have this year for Power Rangers, the Beast-X Morpher!

Get ready to Go Go POWER RANGERS! In the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS series, Rangers morph into their superhuman form by activating their Morpher. Now kids can imagine that they’re activating their own super powers with the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS BEAST-X MORPHER toy. Putting it on the wrist and saying “It’s Morphin Time” activates music, lights, and sound effects. Swinging it around as if battling monsters unleashes special animal-inspired sounds. Insert the included MORPH-X KEY to activate different character sounds and phrases. Look for other POWER RANGERS items that include MORPH-X KEYS to unlock even more sounds and phrases, along with other  POWER RANGERS figures and gear to expand the morphinominal action. Each sold separately. Available at most major toy retailers nationwide.

This pair of exciting reveals joins the equally seismic reveal this morning of the Beast-X Ultrazord! And all of this is 8 days before Toy Fair New York 2019! When more exciting new items from this series’ lineup are revealed, we’ll be back with an update.
