Hot off the heels of her New York Toy Fair debut, official images and release info are out for the Ranger Slayer from Hasbro’s Power Rangers Lightning Collection! 

Currently sold out, though still listed on Hasbro Pulse, the Ranger Slayer product description reads:

This 6-inch Lightning Collection Ranger Slayer figure features premium paint and decorative details inspired by the show, over 20 points of articulation for high poseability, Bow of Darkness and multiple other character-inspired accessories, and blast effect piece for more ways to play or display. Go Go Power Rangers!

Not to outshine their own reveal of Power Rangers Lightning Collection Wave 5 Hasbro has also unveiled their own take on the iconic weapon of the Green Ranger with the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger! As always, we told TokuChris the only way he’s getting a plane ticket home is if we keep getting pics! So here you are, some solid in person images of the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger! Priced at a very reasonable $59.99, the Dragon Dagger is scheduled for release in August!

The Lightning Collection toyline seems to be moving in a new direction!

Some new leaked photos from a listing on Amazon Italy have revealed a new roleplay item to be released in the Lightning Collection. Hasbro is apparently doing their own take on the Green Rangers’ iconic weapon- the Dragon Dagger!

Sadly, price & release details for the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger have not been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this exciting new release!

“It’s Morphin’ Time!”

Jason Lee Scott, was just a normal high school student. That is until an inter-dimensional being and his robot sidekick recruited the budding martial artist to be a hero. Jason, along with 4 of his friends, were transported to the Command Center, bestowed with the powers of the ancient dinosaurs, and tasked with a mission. Defeat Rita Repulsa and her evil monsters and defend the Earth as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! With mighty Morphers and a massive Megazord, Jason lead the Power Rangers in their fight against Rita, and even greater evils to come!

The Power Rangers Lightning Collection has moved swiftly in the last year, Wave 4 having been recently found at retail and a two-pack featuring Rita & Zedd having been revealed as well. Our review of the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger finally rounds out our reviews of Wave 3. A bit more of a standard release if you’ve had an experience with the male MMPR mold before, the Red Ranger is still a welcome sight for anyone who didn’t manage to get the SDCC 2019 two-pack featuring the Dragon Shield version of the figure. With a Blade Blaster, Power Sword, lightning effect, and a civilian head, this release makes for a perfect entry in any collection.

A new entry for the fan-favorite Lightning Collection action figure series has just been revealed!

Two of Power Rangers most iconic villains will be receiving a special release- the evil Lord Zedd and his bride, Rita Repulsa!

While Zedd received a release in the Lightning Collections’ first wave, his figure was short-packed and somewhat difficult to find. Rita Repulsa is a welcome new addition to the Lightning Collection lineup!

The two pack is listed as the couples’ Silver Wedding Anniversary special- since it has indeed been TWENTY-FIVE YEARS since the airing of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers “The Wedding” when Zedd & Rita tied the knot.

Lightning Collections’ Silver Wedding Anniversary set will be available exclusively at GameStop with an expected release window of August 2020. The price is a modest $49.99 USD!

At long last we have our first images of the missing Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger figure from the fan-favorite action figure series, Power Rangers Lightning Collection!

The Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger comes with her signature Blade Blaster and Power Dagger weapons, along with an unmorphed head and effect parts.

Lightning Collection MMPR Yellow will be part of the fourth wave of Lightning Collection figures, tentatively scheduled for release in Spring 2020.

The 8th annual Toku Toy Box Giveaway has come to an end! With a total of over 50 galleries posted in the year 2019 making our users eligible for entry, it was anyone’s game to win. As with previous years, we’ve dispensed with doing large prize packs for a small number of winners, in favor of opening things up so we can split multiple prizes up among multiple winners. SPD EMERGENCY!

Happy New Year, TokuNation!


Rounding out our coverage for the currently known line-up of figures for wave 4 of the popular Lightning Collection line, we have our first in-package photograph of the fourthcoming Lightning Collection SPD Red Ranger action figure from the fan-favorite season: Power Rangers SPD.

Thankfully, we can see some alterations were made to the figure to make it look more accurate to what was presented in the show most notably to the hands, and the Morpher.
