S.H. Figuarts Ambassador Hell Revealed, Retail Release Confirmation

Posted on October 23, 2017 at 12:01 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

In a surprise reveal a magazine scan has just begun circulating showing off S.H. Figaurts Ambassador Hell! We’ve previously seen this iconic villains’ Kaijin form Garagaranda, on display at Tamashii Events. But this is a new reveal entirely. What’s most surprising is that Ambassador Hell appears to be a standard retail release, priced at 6480 yen with a release date of April 2017.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Ambassador Hell character, he hails from the original Kamen Rider TV series. A Shocker general based out of the western US, the character has made numerous appearances through out the rider franchise. As recently even as the 2016 Kamen Rider 1 film. He’s not to be confused with his brother Ambassador Darkness, who looks very similar and first appeared in the “Birth of the 10th! Kamen Rider All Together!” the Kamen Rider ZX film. Could Hell’s release signal Darkness on the horizon? Here’s hoping!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Bike Gamer Level 2 Gallery

Posted on October 22, 2017 at 4:59 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“2nd Gear.”

Kiriya Kujou. Liar, coroner, Bugster, Kamen Rider. Has there been a secondary character that’s grown more memorable and beloved by fans of a rider show more quickly than him? Almost from the moment he stepped on screen, people fell in love with this two-faced hero. While Lazer has an unconventional Level 2 Rider form, it has a charm all it’s own. After patiently waiting since his appearance early on in the series we can finally share a full review & gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Bike Gamer Level 2!

Lazer Level 2 is an unconventional form for a rider, and a unique Rider Machine, but one that’s been perfectly executed. Capturing Kiriya’s iconic Level 2 form, this figure has been given an exquisite paint job to sell all the right details. But perhaps the best thing about this release is the two Gamer Drivers that are included! One, a standard Gamer Driver with removable Bakusou Bike Gashat, and the other is a “stunt” driver. Based on the type of stunt prop used for action scenes this slimmed down Driver provides some extra clearance for any rider ally. Did I mention that Ex-Aid looks absolutely excellent on Lazer as well?

We’ve attached the full gallery of 60 images to this post, but you check out our full review as well by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation” Forums at the bottom of this post! We have more Kamen Rider Ex-Aid galleries on the way, but next time we’ll be back with another glimpse into Kamen Rider Kabuto!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Hunter Action Gamer Level 5 Gallery

Posted on October 20, 2017 at 12:52 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Drago Knight Hunter Z!!”

At one time the greatest power available to Ex-Aid & his allies was the dangerous Level 5 Gasshat, Drago Knight Hunter Z! It ultimately took Ex-Aid, Brave, Snipe & Lazer to tame this power together, but Emu (and later Hiiro) would be able to master the Level 5 configuration on his own as well. While Ex-Aid would gain even greater power, exceeding Level 100 & beyond, Action Gamer was a force to be reckoned with. Today we examine how Ex-Aid adapts this form for collectors S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Hunter Action Gamer Level 5!

At a basic level you know this figure already, as the wonderful Level 2 Action Gamer Ex-Aid mold. What this release brings to the table is the additional bulk armor and weapons of the Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat. Now armed with the Dragon Blade & Dragon Gun, and a powerhouse of strength, Ex-Aid can face any threat up to Level 5. While this release is lite on the accessories, it’s currently modest price should more than make up for that and warrant it a spot in your collection.

We’ve attached the full gallery of over 50 images to this post, but you can also check out the full review of this figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post . We’ll back soon with several more galleries from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid as well Kamen Rider W & Kamen Rider Kabuto!

S.H. Figuarts Alien Zarab Revealed

Posted on October 18, 2017 at 4:06 pm by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

“I was born for this purpose. It is what I do…”

Thanks to the sleuthing of Twitter user @_Erasu we have the news that Alien Zarab will soon be joining the ever-growing lineup of Ultraman S.H. Figuarts! First appearing in the 18th episode of the original series (“Brother from Another Planet”), the deceptive Zarab race has gone on to appear in Ultraman Mebius, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, Ultraman X and more.

From the pictures provided we can see that Alien Zarab will come with his portable communication device, removable “ear” pieces to simulate his shrunken state and a selection of alternate hands. Release date and price are yet to be confirmed, but it’s fair to assume that S.H. Figuarts Alien Zarab will likely be a Tamashii web exclusive item. We’ll bring you more information as it comes, but in the meantime check out the full range of pictures after the jump!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Dark Drive Type Next Gallery

Posted on October 14, 2017 at 5:21 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Start our mission.”

When the future was in danger, Eiji Tomari was meant to travel back in time to find his father Kamen Rider Drive, and warn him of the dangers to come. However, Shinnosuke would soon find out that his son lost his fight as the Drive of the future, and a Roidmude posing as Eiji has engineered the destruction of Mr Belt! Seeking to unite with his past self & form the ultimate Paradox Roidmude, can what’s left of Drive stop this monster? This is S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Dark Drive!

Kamen Rider Dark Drive is the first new outing for the Type Speed body mold since Kamen Rider Zero Drive, and this release is easily one of the best. Representing one of the best villains the Drive franchise has to offer, this is actually the design of hero. Even so there’s something so sinister about Dark Drive’s design that it’s appropriate his powers were stolen by a villain. Armed with his unique Blade Gunner weapon and a new set of Next Shift Cars, it’s no wonder it took the power of two generations of Tomari’s to defeat him. This is yet another excellent addition to the already fantastic line up from Drive, and next month Drive Type Special will be released to go with him!

We’ve attached the full 70+ image gallery to this post, but you can also read my full review of Dark Drive by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post! Next time we return to the Game World with a brand new pair of galleries from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid!

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kickhopper Gallery

Posted on October 10, 2017 at 4:30 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Won’t you go to hell with me?”

Once, he was Kamen Rider TheBee, before a series of encounters with Souji Tendou would ultimately derail the life that Sou Yaguruma had carefully planned for himself. After a brief disappearance from Kamen Rider Kabuto, Yaguruma would eventually re-emerge as a shade of his former self with a new lookout on life as Kamen Rider Kickhopper! Now Yaguruma is the latest addition to the premium renewal S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou line!

Seihou Kickhopper is yet another loving apology from Tamashii Nations for the abysmal quality of the original figure, released over 9 years ago. In every conceivable way this new Seihou release outclasses the original and realizes the potential of this renewal line of figures. From a removable and properly reversible Hopper Zecter right down to the Anchor Unit rider kick weapon, Kickhopper has been faithfully recreated at last.

We’ve attached the full gallery of over 70 images to this post, you can also check out a full review of this figure in our gallery thread by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next up on my gallery schedule is Kamen Rider Dark Drive!

S.H.Figuarts Night Rouge First Look!

Posted on October 3, 2017 at 12:51 am by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

Build Up!

In case you missed it, Tamashii Nations just announced that Kamen Rider Build in his Tank Rabbit form was coming to S.H.Figuarts with the promise that he’d be followed up by S.H.Figuarts Night Rouge.

Well, we didn’t have to wait long: in a rather quick turnaround, Tamashi Nations’ official Twitter account gave us our first look at this beautiful figure, along with our first in-person look at the aforementioned S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Tank Rabbit Form set up in an impressive diorama display.

At the moment, S.H.Figuarts Night Rouge appears to be a display only piece no release info was given so at the moment we have no clue if he’ll even be hitting mass retail or not. Stay tuned, and we’ll bring you more info on this product as it becomes available.

UPDATE:

Not long after publishing this article, official images for Night Rouge appeared via Dengeki Hobby giving us a much clearer look at this exciting new figure!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Rabbit Tank Form Revealed

Posted on September 27, 2017 at 7:18 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Best Match!

We’re currently only 4 episodes into Kamen Rider Build and we’ve already gotten a tease of the upcoming figure of his base form, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Rabbit Tank Form! Interestingly enough, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid was also revealed just after that series’ 4th episode last year. Though Build actually premiered earlier in the year than Ex-Aid.

Currently we have no release date information or pricing for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build, but now that this image is circulating it will only be a matter of time! Thanks to the fine folks at @SHFindo for originally posting it.

Ultraman: S.H. Figuarts Gomora Gallery

Posted on September 24, 2017 at 3:32 pm by Den-O under TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights, Ultraman

It’s time once again to check out a giant sized creature of epic proportions in another Ultraman S.H. Figuarts gallery! Dating back to the original TV series, episode 26 to be exact, is the immense creature Gomora! Though we’ve seen examples of this species many times since it’s debut, the most memorable for many is still the original.

S.H. Figuarts Gomora is a pretty beefy figure when you get right down to it. A beast fit to fight your Ultramen figures. Gomora lacks some of the better articulation we’ve come to expect with Kaiju figuarts, but does make up for things with his wonderfully segmented tail. Pair him up with your S.H. Figuarts Ultraman, or in my case the old Ultra-Act V2, and you can see just why Kaiju figuarts continue to go strong. He even includes some special accessories to replicate his severed tail and horn from his battle with Ultraman!

We’ve attached the full 70 image gallery to this post but you can also check out our full length review of S.H. Figuarts Gomora by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time we’ll be back to “Start our mission” with a brand new gallery from Kamen Rider Drive!
