Advent!
It’s time once again to visit a classic rider series. A favorite here at TokuNation, Kamen Rider Ryuki was featured in one of our earliest Let’s Watch Wednesdays segments. Well today, courtesy of site sponsor Entertainment Earth, we’re happy to bring you yet another gallery from Ryuki. This time it’s the Pseudo Rider, S.H. Figuarts Alternative Zero!
Alternative Zero being a pseudo rider, shares many characteristics at a basic level with the other Ryuki riders. But being based on a copy of the rider technology Alternative Zero gives off a much more imposing, and evil exterior. An incredible looking, and well made figure, S.H. Figuarts Alternative Zero is the perfect addition to any Ryuki (or even Dragon Knight) collection.
Check out the full gallery, and review of this figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. And be sure to head over to Entertainment Earth to fulfill your Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Ultraman, Godzilla, and other tokusatsu needs!

The last of the Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger finally arrives in the S.H. Figuarts line! Tiger Ranger comes packaged with a folded Ranger Stick, the Ranger Slinger and Boi’s signature weapons – the Saber Daggers. Also included in this set are the final pieces needed to build the Howling Cannon – the combined form of the Zyurangers’ weapons.
Unlike the version being released in the US by Bluefin Tamashii Nations, this figure is based on the character from the original Super Sentai series and thus uses a male body.
Tiger Ranger will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in June, priced 3780 yen.
Ready to finish your Zyurangers? Preorders open tomorrow!

Earlier today the first official images of the upcoming web exclusive Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger Tiger Ranger S.H. Figuarts figure were shown. In a mirror-move, the Facebook page for Bluefin Tamashii Nations, the US version of Tamashii Nations, posted up the images of their version, the S.H. Figuarts Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Yellow Ranger!
The international release of this figure is significant because, as you may remember, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Yellow Ranger was actually female and not male. Because of that, the outside-Japan release will feature a female torso piece as opposed to the male torso piece. We’ve seen the figure as early as San Diego Comic Con 2013, but now we have some clear images to inspect. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers version will release with two Power Daggers, a Thunder Slinger, Blade Blaster, and three sets of interchangeable hands, as well as an accessory to form the Power Blaster, the weapon formed by combining each Power Ranger‘s signature weapon. This figure is slated to release later this year.
What do you think? Which version do you plan to get? Sound off in the discussion thread!

Following the avalanche of overnight announcements we’ve got just a few more. It appears that June will bring Kamen Rider Den-O fans a double whammy. Both Kamen Rider Zeronos Zero Form and his bike the Zero Horn will be released, for 3780 & 4530 yen respectively.
And for Ryuki completitionists (myself included) S.H. Figuarts Alternative will be out in May for 3780 yen. This release might be easily confused with the already released Alternative Zero. In fact these are two separate characters, Zero simply had much more screen time than Alternative. But they have identical costumes save for some paint detailing differences.

More pictures from the latest issue of Figure王 found by our user superblade is the highly anticipated Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger‘s Tiger Ranger. While the figure was revealed at various conventions, this is the first time we found out when Tiger Ranger/Boi would be released. Slated for June for 3,780 yen, we are finally completing the epic team. Tiger Ranger/Boi is a highly debated figure since BlueFin has clarified that the US release of Yellow Ranger would be with a female body, so the only way to obtain the male body of the Yellow Ranger/Tiger Ranger would be via the Tamashii Web Shop. Also shown in the picture is that the Tiger Ranger will come with a new part to help form the Howling Cannon.
