S.H.Monster Arts Biollante Official Image Gallery

Posted on June 23, 2013 at 11:19 pm by Kiryu under Godzilla

Pre orders have already begun for the S.H.Monster Arts Biollante, following it’s showcase in Figureoh magazine.

As such, an official preview gallery for this figure has gone up along with the pre orders. The official images demonstrates the figure’s LED gimmick.

Biollante is perhaps the most expensive Monster Arts figure to date in the line, retailing for a whopping 23,100 yen. She is scheduled to ship sometime in November 2013.

UPDATE:

As expected Bluefin announced that they’ll be distributing Biollante to North American consumers. No word on pricing, but she’s due out in November/December

S.H. Monsterarts Biollante Release Info!

Posted on June 22, 2013 at 3:01 am by Den-O under Godzilla

Thanks to Tokunation member Lbsammills51 for pointing us to this info. The current wave of Figure Oh scans making the rounds has revealed release info for none other than S.H. Monsterarts Biollante!

This massive monster will be a Tamashii Web Exclusive with an almost assured Bluefin release for the US market. Standing 30 CM tall, that’s nearly 12″, and she will also feature a chest LED gimmick, the first of its kind for this line! Now the bad news is the price. This bad girl will run you a whopping 23,100 yen which by today’s exchange rate is $242! The price may be high but by comparison to the other larger figures of the line (Ghidorah, Destroyah) a high price tag like this is not unexpected.

EDIT: Second image added

Posted on May 24, 2013 at 6:55 am by ZeoRangerV under Godzilla

Hot on the heels of the magazine scans of the forthcoming S.H. Monsterarts Millennium series MechaGodzilla/Kiryu figure, Bandai’s Tamashii website has updated with some official images of their own. These images give us a closer look at the figure, as well as a side shot with the weapons pack removed.

Meanwhile, Bluefin have confirmed over on their Facebook page that they will be releasing Kiryu in October (one month after Japanese release). Details on the price are still pending.

S.H. MonsterArts MechaGodzilla Kiryu Revealed!

Posted on May 23, 2013 at 3:48 am by baltanii under Godzilla

UPDATE:We now have a new image, this time from Figure-Oh magazine. Kiryu will include a red-eyed berserk head, chest flaps that open to reveal the Absolute Zero Cannon, leg thrusters, and what looks to be an incredibly articulated tail! Thanks to our friends at The Daytime Ninja for the heads-up!

Did you think Bandai had really forgotten about the King of the Monsters, Godzilla? Worried about the state of the S.H. MonsterArts toyline? Not anymore!

Among this month’s crop of leaked Hobby Japan scans is this single image depicting the Millenium incarnation of MechaGodzilla, also known as Kiryu!

Kiryu is in his first appearance from the 2002 film Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla and will be a standard release for September. This Godzilla-powered cyborg retails for 10,290 yen, standing 15.5 cm or just over six inches tall. We have no details on accessories and alternate pieces yet, but fans will be happy to know that unlike the Heisei MechaGodzilla and Garuda, Kiryu’s weapons/jetpack is already included!

More details and a confirmation of release from North American licensed importer Bluefin are inevitable, so stay tuned!
