Kamen Rider Gaim Episode 10 Poll and Discussion

Posted on December 15, 2013 at 11:48 pm by Chris under Kamen Rider

Merry Christmas!

Our heroes Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Ryugen need to find out just what exactly is happening at the Yggdrasill tower and what part exactly they play in the Inves monsters and the mysterious Hellheim Forest. The only way to do so is to draw the attention of Kamen Rider Zangetsu away so that our heroes can investigate. That can only mean one thing – a new game to gain points for all the other Beat Riders!

The first episode to feature every single Armored Rider in the series thus far – Kamen Rider Gaim, Kamen Rider Baron, Kamen Rider Ryugen, Kamen Rider Zangetsu, Kamen Rider Kurokage, Kamen Rider Gridon, and Kamen Rider Bravo – sets up the stage for an epic battle where (hopefully) many answers will finally be revealed!

But can they pull it off? Click the ”Discuss on the Tokunation forums” link at the bottom right of this news post to vote in our episode poll and join the discussion! If you haven’t had a chance to watch the episode yet – good news! Aesir has the subtitles out! You can find all that information by clicking here.

DX Gokai Machine Gao Lion Gallery – Toku Toy Box Entry!

Posted on December 15, 2013 at 9:08 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Our Power Rangers Megaforce/Super Megaforce tribute continues with yet another figure from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

Today we’re looking at DX Gokai Machine Gao Lion, based of course on the Power Animal of the same name from Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger! Gokai Machine Gao Lion however isn’t just a tribute to the original creature but more to the point the over sized DX BIG Gao Lion released near the tail end of Gaoranger’s DX line. This fun and creative homage is easily one of the better figures released over the course of Gokaiger. It also has the unique honor of being a double homage, for both Gaoranger & Samurai Sentai Shinkenger !

Follow this link or click “Discuss on the Tokunation Forums” to see our FULL image gallery of this awesome figure!

Legacy Dragon Dagger In Hand Images!

Posted on December 15, 2013 at 2:53 pm by DaiRiderRX under Conventions, Other Conventions, Power Rangers

At RoboToyFest in Pasadena, California some lucky folks were finally able to get some hands on experience with the Legacy Dragon Dagger! Here you can see some images of the completed box, a size comparison with the vintage Japanese dagger and a shot of a lucky fan weilding the dagger, finally showing us just how big this thing will be in hand.

Finally my friend Kim Chi Williams, the awesome person who took these images, took a video of the sound effects the dagger makes, which you can view by clicking this link:

Clearer Images of the DJ Gun

Posted on December 15, 2013 at 1:21 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

Better quality images of the third quarter Kamen Rider Gaim’s scans have been released, revealing more functions to the DJ Gun.

On it’s own, the DJ gun will be able to change between three firing modes via a dial located above the handle ranging from a laser shot, machine gun fire, and a wider burst of energy. The DJ Gun can also turn into a sword which will be able to combine with the Musou Saber to create an even larger blade.

In addition, the image confirms that the Kachidoki Lock Seed will be it’s own, new series of Seed separate from the Energy ones.

The DJ Gun is due out for release in March, as is the Kachidoki Lock Seed. The Seed will cost 3000 yen while the gun has the price tag of 5500 yen.

Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad Samurizing Synchro Gallery by conundrum

Posted on December 15, 2013 at 1:14 am by Den-O under General Tokusatsu News

Our resident lover of 90’s tokusatsu far and wide conundrum is with us once again to share yet another gallery from Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad!

Adapted from the Tsuburaya series Denkou Chojin Gridman this show had the honor of having some of the best DX transforming sets around. However there were also some smaller more affordable Samurizing sets released here in the US that while not as complex as their DX brothers, definitely get the job done. At the lower price point and looking as good as they do these sets are great alternatives even now to the more expensive DX’s.

The Synchro Samurizing Set contains Servo and the 3 vehicles Borr, Tracto, and Vitor that allow him to become Synchro. You’ll see it scales especially well with Gridman Ultra-Acts if you’re on a budget. Seet the full gallery of this figure by clicking this link or by clicking the “Discuss on the Tokunation Forums” link at the bottom of this post!

World Collectable Figure Suika Arms Revealed

Posted on December 14, 2013 at 9:39 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

If the DX Watermelon Arms seems out of reach to you, Banpresto’s revealed a perfect substitute.

While it might not transform or have much in the way of articulation, Banpresto did reveal that they will be making a Suika Arms to go with their super deformed WFC line.

Price and Release dates will be announced at a later date, but we do know that the figure will stand 14mm tall to be properly in scale with the rest of the figure waves.
