Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger Tiger Ranger Tamashii Web Exclusive

Posted on January 22, 2014 at 9:42 am by Sentai Tamashii under Super Sentai

More pictures from the latest issue of Figure王 found by our user superblade is the highly anticipated Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger‘s Tiger Ranger.  While the figure was revealed at various conventions, this is the first time we found out when Tiger Ranger/Boi would be released.  Slated for June for 3,780 yen, we are finally completing the epic team.  Tiger Ranger/Boi is a highly debated figure since BlueFin has clarified that the US release of Yellow Ranger would be with a female body, so the only way to obtain the male body of the Yellow Ranger/Tiger Ranger would be via the Tamashii Web Shop.  Also shown in the picture is that the Tiger Ranger will come with a new part to help form the Howling Cannon.

Tamashii Nations teased the Kamen Rider Gaim fan base last week by including possible prototypes of Kamen Rider Ryugen and Kamen Rider Zangetsu in their official announcement of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Baron. Now, thanks to some magazine scans, we have our first look at S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryugen and S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zangetsu!

Enjoy how beautiful these figures are and the sad realization that the show will be half over by the time we get our hands on them. As soon as more information comes through we’ll throw it in this news post! Enjoy the temptation on your wallets!

Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Faiz Announced

Posted on January 22, 2014 at 12:52 am by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

Bandai’s plastic model kits for Kamen Rider makes a rather unexpected return with the recent announcement of the Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Faiz.

Figure-Rise 6 line is a scaled down version of the larger model kits making them somewhere between the size of an S.H.Figuarts. But what makes Faiz and Kabuto different from their Figuarts cousins is that the image suggests that they’ll not only include effect parts but armor pieces to convert them from either Axel Form or Masked Form.

No further information was given on these kits.

Bandai UK Showcases Legacy Dragon Dagger Features!

Posted on January 20, 2014 at 5:16 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

After posting official images last week, Bandai UK has uploaded a video to it’s youtube account showcasing the features of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Dragon Dagger!

According to the video’s description:

Coming to the UK 2014 The Legacy Dragon Dagger includes 3 battle sound effects activate by pressing the keys. Activate 2 further zord summon sounds and the theme song when the mouth piece is pressed changing the keys functions.

The nice thing about the theme music played on this piece versus the Legacy Morpher? It actually has the lyrics “Go Go Power Rangers”!!

Power Rangers Super Megaforce 5 Inch Red Ranger Video Review by baltmatrix

Posted on January 19, 2014 at 2:05 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

If you’re collecting the Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy line, then you’ve most likely already found your way to your local store to search for and pick up the entire first wave of the 5 inch figures. That first wave includes all five of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Right off the bat you can tell there’s more articulation, but just how well do these figures stand up? Are they worth the price tag? Will you have buyer’s remorse? Worry not, because baltmatrix is back with another video review, this time the Super Megaforce Red Ranger 5 inch figure is in his crosshairs! Check out the video below.

When it comes to toy reviews, no one is as consistent with new videos as our buddy baltmatrix. The guy uploads more videos in a month than some toy reviewers do in a year! That being said, do yourself a favor and keep up with all his video reviews by clicking here and subscribing. Now that we’ve got him hooked on tokusatsu merchandise, you know he’s going to spend a bunch of money to get these toys to share with you.

Have you picked up these 5 inch figures yet? What do you think? Share your thoughts in our discussion thread. And also stay tuned for an upcoming gallery of the entire first wave of figures from our very own conundrum! Unlock the Power!
