Power Rangers Super Megaforce Q-Rex Megazord Gallery

Posted on July 5, 2014 at 12:58 am by Den-O under Power Rangers

Though we’re still several months away from the return of new Power Rangers Super Megaforce episodes on Nick, TokuNation has a little something to get you through this dry spell. Spotted recently at retail across the country and having finally been snagged by staff members we thought it was time to share with you the Q-Rex Megazord Gallery!

The Q-Rex is the personal Megazord of the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger! Sent from the future by the Time Force Rangers this machine can transform into it’s own Dinozord, Drill, & Megazord modes! A tribute to 3 past shows (Mighty Morphin Powers, Dino Thunder, & Time Force) this Megazord shares physical attributes with many of those Megazords that came before it. Like the Dragon Zord, Thundersaurus Megazord, or the original Q-Rex! Based on the DX Gozyujin toy from Bandai of Japan’s Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger line the Q-Rex puts it’s own spin on the design with the inclusion of Bandai of America’s Zord Builder system. With a plethora of these connectors & ports strategically placed through out, this toy will be a welcome addition to your collection.

After the jump we’ve assembled a lengthy review of this figure, exploring it’s many features and design elements. And we also have a 60+ image gallery for you to enjoy! If you’d like to take an up close look at the Q-Rex Megazord and see how it stacks up to it’s cousin, DX Gozyujin, then please click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottome of this post to be taken to our full gallery thread!

Kamen Rider Drive Rumors: Vehicle Filming Spotted, “Drive Driver” Trademark Filed

Posted on July 3, 2014 at 9:53 pm by Paladin under Kamen Rider

With Gaim unfortunately winding down its excellent run, new rumors regarding the next Kamen Rider installment have come online!

An impressive new vehicle concept photo has been circulating through various news outlets but at the time no sources have confirmed if this car is indeed connected to Kamen Rider Drive (though if true, this would prove the fan theory that Kamen Rider Drive uses a car instead of the traditional motorcycle).

In addition, Bandai of Japan has apparently filed a trademark for the name Drive Driver in relation to the upcoming series- presumably the name of next seasons’ henshin device.

Keep in mind This is heavy speculation; details relating to Kamen Rider Drive have not yet been confirmed by official sources. Be sure to join in our Ongoing Kamen Rider Drive Discussion Thread to share your thoughts & fears about the upcoming series!

DX Build DaiOh, Safari GaOh Video Demonstrations Online!

Posted on July 3, 2014 at 4:29 pm by Paladin under Super Sentai

Bandai’s official YouTube channel has put up some early previews for the latest DX Resshas heading to store shelves!

First up is a close look at the Galaxy Resshas & their Beast Mode combination style!

And a two-step look at the massive Build Ressha & its combat formation, Build DaiOh!

Definitely a couple good items for ToQGer fans! Both should be due for release in the very near future, so those fans who were lucky enough to get pre-orders in should keep a close eye on their mailboxes!

Legacy Lord Zedd Released at Canadian Retail!

Posted on July 3, 2014 at 4:29 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

Well that certainly didn’t take long. Revealed just over a month ago, then announced for an early release at San Diego Comic Con this month, who would have thought we’d already see this figure at retail? But the hunt is on! @dimitridemel on Twitter just stumbled across the Power Rangers Legacy 5″ Lord Zedd figure!

Found at the Brampton, Ontario Canada Toys ‘R’ Us this figure retails for for $16.99 CAD. And as we can see now, Lord Zedd also sports some very awesome vintage style Power Rangers packaging clearly modeled after the 8″ Mighty Morphin Power Ranger assortments of old.

UPDATED – A new back of box image confirms that the Power Weapons included with the 5″ Legacy Power Rangers will be able to combine to form the Powe Blaster!

A domestic US release should be happening any time now, but this is great news for Canadian collectors! For anyone unable to find it before SDCC, remember that Entertainment Earth will also have this shared exclusive for sale at their booth there later this month!

Posted on July 3, 2014 at 12:26 am by Chris under Conventions, Power Morphicon

We’re a little late on this update but that doesn’t mean it isn’t news! The Official Power Morphicon convention updated on Monday with a couple of new guests and, unfortunately, a cancellation. For starters, Anna Hutchison, better known as Lily the Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger will be joining Jason Smith and David de Lautour giving us the largest Power Rangers Jungle Fury reunion. Someone get in touch with Aljin Abella and Nikolai Nikolaeff and tell them to join the others for a true reunion! But she’s not the only guest – here’s the latest list from the update.

  • Anna Hutchison (“Lily”, Power Rangers Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger)
  • Bruce Heinsious (from Bruce Heinsious Photography, original photographer of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers0
  • Jaze Cosplay (guests and judges for the Cosplay Contest)

And unfortunately, another guest has joined Cerina Vincent in having to cancel their appearance at this year’s convention.

  • Neil Kaplan (voice of “Diabolico”, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue) – NO LONGER ABLE TO ATTEND

Another important update for those of you who have been waiting to register – pre-registration will end on July 31st, 2014. So for the love of Zordon, if you haven’t registered please click here to begin your registration process. We want to see you at the show!

TokuNation.com and the Talkin Toku Podcast are honored to be attending the show this year as platinum members, giving us early and full access to the entire event and the special guests. We will be conducting interviews and live coverage of the show with pictures and information from all the panels. We are attending in part thanks to our good friends trekkieb47 and TheCinemaSlob from the Ranger Command Power Hour Podcast. Give them some love and stay tuned for some special updates about what exactly Talkin Toku and Ranger Command have in store for everyone at the show!
