under Kamen Rider, Super Sentai

A quick pair of teaser trailers for the annual Super Sentai and Kamen Rider summer movies has been posted online!

Details are sparse at the moment, but this projects are tentatively known as Gekijoban Kamen Rider Build and Kaitō Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger En Film respectively.

The teaser does hint at a previously-unrevealed combo for Kamen Rider Build- the RabbitDragon form!

This double-billed feature is currently scheduled for release on August 4 2018! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Sentai & Rider reveals!

“Masquerase!”

Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger is about to enter it’s third week. So continuing our coverage of the merchandise released so far, we’re revisiting the show with 3 more entries in the Sentai Hero Collection line of vinyls. Lupin Red, Lupin Blue, & Lupin Yellow!

As with the Patrangers these Hero Collection vinyls offer an affordable option for you to own your favorite characters that may not necessarily receive figures in other toylines. In many cases these vinyls offer 1 of few, if not the only option for you to collect a particular hero. That was what drove me to pick them up myself. The Lupinranger designs are very slick, if a bit more limited in this line than your average release. Vinyls may not do much, but as static display pieces they get the job done. The Kamen Rider Gaim series has received quite a release of SIC figures and the trend is continuing. There are currently no release details at this time. With Toy Fair New York 2018 winding to a close, Fortune.com sat down with Brian Goldner, the CEO of Hasbro Inc., and spoke regarding the acquisition of the master toy license of the Power Rangers brand. Speaking with Susie Gharib of Fortune.com, Brian Goldner had this to say about the Power Rangers brand:

“It’s a very young-skewing brand so that the youngest consumer really loves that story, that fun kitsch humor that comes along with that action and adventure of Power Rangers. And then today there’s all these kids who are now adults, are fans of the brand and we think there’s a great opportunity in that fan economy to talk to the Power Ranger fan and give them the products they’re looking for.”

Saban Brands, the parent company of Power Rangers, recently announced both their separation from Bandai America, the toy company that has produced Power Rangers toys for the last 25 years, and subsequently announced their new partnership with Hasbro.

Brian Goldner finishes by saying “We think this brand can be far bigger in our hands over time than it has been in the past.” Join in your thoughts and expectations in our on-going discussion regarding the acquisition of the Power Rangers toy line by Hasbro.

Also among the latest batch of Figure Oh magazine scans is the newly revealed S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Cross-Z Charge! While there still isn’t 100% confirmation whether this figure will be a general retail release or a Tamashii web exclusive, the absence of the webshop logo on the scans seems to point towards it being a retail release.

What do know however is that Ryuga Banjou’s second form will be released in July 2018, for the price of 5940 yen. The scans also confirm that it will include the Twin Breaker weapon.

BUILD UP!


As you might recallBandai teased us with an S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Tank Rabbit Sparkling prototype a little while ago, the figure is now gearing up for release thanks to this latest bit of info from Figure-Oh magazine.

S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Tank Rabbit Sparkling will be a Tamashii Web exclusive release slated to ship out in July with a price tag of 6264 yen. Not much of the figure was shown in the scan, so we don’t know what his accessory count looks like as of yet. Stay tuned, and we’ll provide you info once pre-orders for this piece becomes available.

The latest batch of Figure Oh scans have revealed that S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Royal Mega Master will be arriving soon! Previously revealed at the Tamashii Nations 2017 event, Ultraman Geed’s strongest form (a fusion of both Belial and Ultraman King) will be released this July as Tamashii web exclusive.

The images confirm that the figure will have a solid plastic cape split into three jointed sections, and come packaged with the form’s unique weapon – the King Sword.

Preorders will open soon, with the figure priced at 7020 yen. We’ll bring you more images as they come!

Shin Dan Kuroto finally arrived with a brand new reveal, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider GenM Action Gamer Level 0!

Revealed via Figure Oh scans currently making the rounds (by way of @TendouToys on Twitter) GenM Level 0 is another figure that fans of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid have been hoping for. Scheduled for release in July 2018, GenM Level 0 is a Tamashii Web Exclusive and retails for 6264 yen.

Official images should be released for this figure in the near future. We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop when they drop!
