Figuarts Zero Hokuto Three Crows Set Gallery – Castle, Stag & Owl Hard Smashes

Posted on August 27, 2019 at 1:18 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“We’re the Hokuto Three Crows!
And we’re not just gonna tell you who we are.”

In the 3-sided war for Pandora’s Box that took shape early in Kamen Rider Build, it was the surprise appearance of this trio of Hard Smashes that turned everything upside down. Accompanying the powerful new rider, Kamen Rider Grease, the Hokuto Three Crows presented an uphill battle for Build & Cross-Z. Initially these heroes of Hokuto clashed with the main cast, but it wasn’t long before the real motives of the war and their perpetrator were revealed and these beloved allies of Kazumi Sawatari gave their all for their friend.

Castle, Stag, and Owl Hard Smash echo the trifecta of classic sentai colors, and ultimately they proved themselves heroes very much worthy of that influence. These figures of the trio are Figuarts Zero’s, basically statues, but snazzy shelf display pieces none the less. With some minimal articulation worked in, each is sculpted and painted wonderfully, and scaled perfectly to match any of your Kamen Rider Build family Figuarts. Regardless of any shortcomings, of which there are some, having the Hokuto Three ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with Grease is incredibly satisfying.

We’ve attached a full 80 image gallery to this post, but you can also read through our comprehensive review of the set by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time we’re getting back to action with some more Power Rangers Lightning Collection galleries!

Ultraman fans rejoice! A brand new suit joins the SSSP’s arsenal with lineart having been released this past weekend of the Manga’s take on the popular Ultraman Tiga design.

This is our first clear look at the Ultraman Tiga suit, thanks to line art that was released. This particular design is created by Eiichi Shimizu himself though plans to integrate it into the current story are currently unknown.

We do know that Bandai plans to release this into their Figure-Rise Standard model kit line though release info and sample photos for that piece have yet to be released at the time of this writing. We’ll be sure to update you once more info becomes available.

Kamen Rider Zero-One Magazine Scans Released- Several New Rider Forms Revealed!

Posted on August 26, 2019 at 11:14 am by Paladin under Kamen Rider

We are mere days away from the first Kamen Rider of the Reiwa Era and a plethora of new images have just been released showing fans even more details about the upcoming new hero- Kamen Rider Zero-One!

Zero-One lives in a world where androids known as HumaGears live alongside humanity. But when terrorists of the MetsubouJinrai.net use their technical skills to hijack HumaGear, Kamen Rider Zero-One must protect humanity from the dangerous attacks!

The powers of Zero-One come from Progrise Keys, devices encoded with animal DNA charged by the Hiden Zero-One Driver. Kamen Rider Zero-One’s default form, Rising Hopper is shown in full detail documenting its various capabilities.

Three more forms for Kamen Rider Zero-One are detailed in these new scans-

*Biting Shark for underwater enemies
*Flying Falcon for airborne attacks
*Flaming Tiger with fire-based abilities.

When HumaGear run amok, agents of the Artificial Intelligence Military Service (generally known as A.I.M.S) will step in to take them down. The most advanced A.I.M.S. agents are the Rider Duo- Kamen Rider Vulcan & Kamen Rider Valkyrie! Vulcan’s signature Progrise Key is Shooting Wolf while Valkyrie uses Rushing Cheetah. Vulcan is also shown demonstrating the Punching Kong Key in these new scans.

Kamen Rider Zero-One begins on September 1 2019! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this remarkable new series!

Announced earlier last week ahead of the last episode was a V-Cinema movie titled Kamen Rider Zi-O: Next Time Geiz Majesty which appears to take place following the end of the series.

A trailer for the V-Cinema’s since been released, and the trailer revealed that Geiz will be acquiring a new Ride Watch. At the moment, we don’t know how Bandai intends to release the DX Geiz Majesty Ride Watch but we can assume that it will no doubt be a P-Bandai release.

S.H. Figuarts Bemular The Animation Version Revealed

Posted on August 25, 2019 at 12:19 pm by Den-O under Ultraman

Hot on the heels of the release of the Ultraman Suit, Tamashii Nations has just revealed (via the Ultraman Manga/Anime Twitter) their next entry in the Ultraman anime line of S.H. Figuarts. Once again, it’s a bit of a do-over, but one that should please collectors.

Bemular (The Animation) takes the original Manga Bemular S.H. Figuarts X Ultra-Act release, and re-works it into a newly improved design more in line with the Netflix anime’s design style. A side by side comparison of the two figures attached here shows just how different the new animation release really is.

Tamashii has confirmed that Bemular will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, though at this time release date and price have yet to be announced. We’ll update this story when that information becomes available.
