First Look at Hasbro’s Zeo Megazord Figure!

Posted on February 29, 2020 at 7:10 pm by Kiryu under Power Rangers

As you may recall, we first caught wind of a Zeo Megazord figure coming our way from Hasbro thanks to some listings that were found at Canadian retail. Today, we finally have our first look at the big mama jama itself thanks to this new photo taken from Melbourne Toy Fair in Australia.

At the moment, there isn’t much word on when we can expect this to go on sale, or if this is even part of the Lightning Collection. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more updates soon and we’ll be sure to keep you updated once more info is available.

Power Rangers Lightning Collection Lost Galaxy Red Ranger & Psycho Red Ranger Gallery

Posted on February 29, 2020 at 2:23 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Who are you?”
“You don’t know me? I’m Psycho Red!”

Faster, smarter, stronger, evil. The Psycho Rangers were the greatest weapons in Astronema’s arsenal that the Power Rangers ever faced. Gone but not forgotten, Trakeena has resurrected these maniacal monsters intent on destroying her own team of pesky Power Rangers. Leo Corbett and the rest of the Lost Galaxy Rangers have never faced a threat like this before. But with the help of another team of Power Rangers, 10 become 1, united to stop the forces of evil!

This two-pack represents one of my favorite team-ups in franchise history, To the 10th Power. Leo, the Lost Galaxy Red Ranger is the second hero hailing from that series after Magna Defender. While Psycho Red revisits the wonderful Psycho Ranger mold we first experienced with his brother Psycho Blue. Thematically, I adore this pack. Psycho Red is a clear winner based on my experience with Blue and armed with the Psycho Sword he’s more than a match for Lost Galaxy Red, who not only has two versions of the Quasar Saber and a flaming effect to accent it, but also an unmasked Leo Corbett head! I’m a little late to review this set, but it’s been a very pleasing experience. Bring on more Lost Galaxy & In Space please Hasbro!

We’ve attached the full 90+ image gallery to this post, but you can see them all and read through our full review by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back soon with more new galleries from Kamen Rider’s Build, Drive, Decade and more!

P-Bandai Announces Kamen Rider Zero-One DX A.I.M.S Narikiri Set

Posted on February 28, 2020 at 11:53 am by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

AUTHORIZE!

A special set for Kamen Rider Zero-One fans is on the way from P-Bandai, with the recent announcement of the Kamen Rider Zero-One DX A.I.M.s Narikiri set. The set includes the Shooting Wolf and Rushing Cheetah Progrise Keys along with an A.I.Ms themed cover for the DX RisePhone.

Here’s the twist: The Shooting Wolf Key does not open at all, for those that have seen Zero-One this is in reference  Fuwa being unable to open the aforementioned key, while the Rushing Cheetah key will include a ring so you can spin it on your finger just like Yua.

Both Keys will include pre-recorded lines from their respective actors, however, it is important to note that due to these new gimmicks, neither key will work with the Shot Riser.

You can pre-order this set off of P-Bandai retailing for 5280 yen released in July 2020. A comedic short was released in conjunction with this announcement, you can check it out in the box below:

New Mashin Sentai Kiramager Scans Released!

Posted on February 26, 2020 at 7:58 am by Paladin under Super Sentai

The latest round of magazine scans has given us our best look yet at the 44th Super Sentai series, Mashin Sentai Kiramager!

These scans offer some profiles for the five newest Sentai heroes-

*The Inspiring Genius, Kiramei Red!
*The King of Esports, Kiramei Yellow!
*The Fastest Legs in Japan, Kiramei Green!
*The Famous Action Star, Kiramei Blue!
*The Affectionate Healer, Kiramei Pink!

Each Kiramager has bonded with a sentient jewel known as a Mashin– and the Mashin can offer different effects in combat based on the Kiramagers’ imagination. The Mashin can transform into giant Mecha & take on various configurations. When all five Mashin unite to form Kiramaizin, they can unleash the powerful Kiramei Dynamic strike to finish off enemies!

Three Auxiliary Mashin have been revealed & each one adds a new power to Kiramaizin-

*Mashin Carry becomes a giant shield
*Mashin Lifton turns into a trident
*Mashin Rolland converts to a massive hammer

And more Mashin may be uncovered as the series continues!

Lastly, we have some details on the villains who attack the Kiramagers- the Dark Empire Yodonheim! Led by the Demonic General of Betrayal Galza and aided by the Mask of Darkness Carantula this group seeks to steal hope and radiance from the universe; they despise all that shines.

Each attack from a Yodonheim creature harvests negative energy. Once enough power is gathered, the Yodonheim can open an Invasion Gate to summon a giant creature. In some cases, the Yodonheim can even create dark Mashin (known as Smog Jouki) to attack the Kiramagers!

Mashin Sentai Kiramager officially begins March 8 2020! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this remarkable new chapter in Super Sentai history!
