S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Garo Raiga Saejima Version Revealed

Posted on May 22, 2019 at 3:40 pm by Den-O under Garo, General Tokusatsu News

Confirmed via a new Figure King scan, the Shinkocchou Seihou Garo line is growing by one more new release!

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Garo Raiga Saejima Version will look quite familiar to most collectors. Raiga’s golden knight form is actually identical to his father Kouga’s aside from one very small detail. The eye color. Kouga’s version of the armor featured green eyes, while notably Raiga’s armor has blue eyes. Should Bandai want to triple dip on this mold they could even do Kouga’s father Taiga. His armor featured red eyes.

While we don’t have any sort of confirmation of the figure’s accessories, it’s a safe bet that they’d be identical to the first release. Though there’s some hope of some alternate inclusions as well. Otherwise this figure appears largely unchanged from the first Seihou Garo release. According to the scan Shinkocchou Seihou Garo Raiga Saejima Ver. will be released in October 2019 for 9990 yen as a Tamashii Web Exclusive. Expect a full set of official images in the near future!

Power Rangers Lightning Collection S.P.D. Shadow Ranger Gallery

Posted on May 21, 2019 at 11:25 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“S.P.D. Emergency!”

His home planet Sirius decimated by Emperor Gruumm, Anubis Doggie Cruger came to Earth as commander of the law enforcement organization Space Patrol Delta. Cruger would protect the galaxy many times and mentor teams of Power Rangers for a number of years. The greatest team being Earth’s eventual saviors, the S.P.D. B-Squad. As heroic as they were, in desperate times Cruger used his Patrol Morpher to become the sworn defender of the galaxy, S.P.D. Shadow Ranger!

Another wonderful addition to wave 1 of Hasbro’s Lighting Collection line of figures, the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger is absolutely one of the most demanded figures in the line by fans. It’s been 14 years since SPD aired and this character’s popularity has maintained, not to mention the demand from fans of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger for a figure of Deka Master. The LC Shadow Ranegr figure at it’s $20 price point offers a wealth of articulation as well iconic accessories like the Shadow Saber, Patrol Morpher, and even an un-morphed Doggie Cruger head! For fans of both Power Rangers and Super Sentai, this figure is a must own.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster Gallery

Posted on May 16, 2019 at 2:08 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Racer Zord, Cheetah Strike!”

When it’s time to take on a Gigantronic with the Beast Racer Zord, there’s one mighty weapon that’s sure to do the trick. To destroy these viral villains the Red Ranger can call on the Cheetah Beast Blaster for one powerful attack! And now thanks to Hasbro you can call on the power of this mighty blaster to take on your friends with the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster!

Roleplay toys are the bread and butter of just about any modern toyline, and Power Rangers Beast Morphers is no stranger to that either. Whether it’s the Morph-X keys included with 6″ figures, the Beast-X Morpher itself, or the very NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster we’re looking at today. This is a wonderful and pretty nicely scaled roleplay blaster with powerful dart firing action and cheetah to blaster mode transformation! I’d also like to mention that this item was provided to us for FREE, direct from Hasbro. It was sent our way as a part of their generous Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer.

We’ve attached the full gallery to this post but you can also read through our full review of the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time we visit Beast Morphers, we’re taking a walk on the dark side with 6″ Basic Cybervillain Blaze!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gamedeus Cronus Official Images & Info

Posted on May 16, 2019 at 8:41 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Seen most recently at the Tamashii Nations Tokyo event in April, Bandai has just confirmed release details for the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gamedeus Cronus!

Taking a roundabout way to getting released, Gamedeus Cronus has been seen in one form or another at several Tamashii events. At one point only the Deus Rusher & Deus Rampart sword & shield were seen, being held by a standard Cronus Figuart. Thankfully today’s new images not only confirm it’s status as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, but also it’s October 2019 release window and 7150 yen price.

Since this is an exclusive, be sure to watch your preferred sites or middleman services for pre-orders.

Kamen Rider Zi-O: DX Geiz Time Mazine Gallery

Posted on May 14, 2019 at 12:05 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

The massive mecha known as the Time Mazine is the last line of defense between the rebels of 2068 & the dark overlord Oma Zi-O. In order to complete his mission of defeating Oma Zi-O, Kamen Rider Geiz travels from the future to the present day in his Time Mazine. Taking on Another Riders & Time Jackers alike, the Geiz Time Mazine is a formidable force in the fight to save the future!

The DX Geiz Time Mazine is a straight repaint of the big DX toy of the line this year, the Time Mazine. If you’ve handled the original Time Mazine, then you know exactly what you’re getting. This DX toy winds up being one of the best articulated mecha we’ve gotten in a while (take that Sentai!) and is completely interactive with the Ride Watches of the toyline. This figure is also scaled to work with the Rider Kicks RKF line and even transforms to vehicle mode. While the original Mazine came with the OOO Ridewatch, the Geiz Time Mazine includes the DX Diend Ridewatch!

We’ve attached the full gallery of DX Geiz Time Mazine to this article, but you can also read up on our full review of the figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Later this week, we’ll be back with the Power Rangers Beast Morphers NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II Official Images & Release Info

Posted on May 8, 2019 at 9:50 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

After being displayed last month at Tamashii Nations Tokyo, we finally have a clear look at the official images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II! The page for this release is now live on P-Bandai.

Scheduled for an October release, Zi-O II’s retail price is 6380 yen. However, as seems to be the case more often these days, don’t let the official pics fool you. While Zi-O II definitely comes with the signature Saikyo Girade, he does *not* include the Zikan Girade. Despite what these images suggest, the only way to get a Zikan Girade is still having purchased the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Ride Striker. The two swords should still  becapable of combining, but you’ll need both of those releases to utilize it.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, so be sure to keep an eye on your favorite middleman services and retailers for pre-orders.

Power Rangers Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin White Ranger Gallery

Posted on May 7, 2019 at 3:46 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Guess who’s back?”

With Lord Zedd’s Scarlet Sentinel on the rampage, the Power Rangers need help. With the Green Ranger’s powers no more, Zordon & Alpha 5 have worked in secret to create the newest and most powerful member of the team. Stronger than ever before, Tommy Oliver returns as the White Ranger!

And now thanks to Hasbro, a better stronger toyline has been unleashed for Power Rangers collectors! The Lightning Collection heralds the debut of the now standard 6″ scale line of collectible figures for Power Rangers, and brings with it for the first time ever realistic proportions and design aesthetics. Wave 1 consists of the SPD Shadow Ranger, Lord Zedd, the Dino Charge Red Ranger, and our subject today, the Mighty Morphin White Ranger! Look no further than our gallery & review to see comparisons with S.H. Figuarts & Hasbro’s Marvel Legends, the incredible articulation engineered into this figure, and the wealth of accessories the White Ranger includes. Such as the Saba Saber, and even a civilian Tommy Oliver head!

We’ve attached the full 70+ image gallery to this post, but you can read our lengthy review of the Lightning Collection White Ranger as well by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back with more galleries this week from Power Rangers Beast Morphers & Kamen Rider Zi-O!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Tronic Gallery

Posted on May 3, 2019 at 4:16 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

To dominate the Morphin Grid & the real world, the sinister virus Evox has demanded the servitude of Scrozzle and his army of Tronic soldiers! Cold, lifeless machines, the Tronic’s battle the Power Rangers of Coral Harbor at every turn. While they aren’t as powerful as Robotron’s, their sheer numbers can make things difficult for our heroes.  Thankfully for collectors, you can build your own army of the mechanical monsters with the 6″ Basic Tronic Figure!

The 6″ Tronic is the first troop builder villain from Hasbro and luckily has been hitting retail in decent numbers allowing many collectors to get as many as they need. Fortunately for us, Hasbro was kind enough to provide us with one for free as part of their Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer. With much of the same standard articulation as the 3 rangers released so far, the Tronic is another great basic figure to add to your collection. Armed with two Tronic Blasters and a Tronic Morph X Key this figure will antagonize your Rangers or compliment your Blaze quite well.

We’ve attached the full 40 image gallery to this post but you can also check out our full review by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back next week with a gallery of the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast Racer Zord Action Figure Gallery

Posted on April 28, 2019 at 12:45 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Okay Cruise, let’s do this!”

Last week, we here at TokuNation received a rather generous gift. The good people at Hasbro sent out a pretty huge and impressive Product Review Mailer containing the entire first wave of Power Rangers Beast Morphers product! A number of fan sites and toy reviewers received them and we were lucky enough to receive one of these free mailers ourselves. While we plan to review all the products it contained, we wanted to kick things off with a review of the big bot in the box. The Beast Racer Zord Action Figure!

If you’re familiar with Hasbro’s other properties, the Beast Racer Zord Figure fits right in with their Titan Hero line of affordable figures. At $19.99 the Racer Zord is a bit more than those, but it’s also a pretty well rounded toy. Based on the Racer Zord Battle Mode suit, the figure has heroic super robot proportions, but also a ton of sculpted in detailing. With just the right articulation cuts and the included sword & axe, the Racer Zord is a great toy for kids and display piece for collector’s of all ages.

We’ve attached the full gallery to this post, but you can also read through our review of the Beast Racer Zord Action Figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back with a Beast Morphers gallery of the 6″ Basic Tronic figure soon!
