Shout!Factory Teases Power Rangers Reveal at SDCC – What’s In The Box?

Posted on July 13, 2013 at 12:36 am by Chris under San Diego Comic Con

The always hilarious Black Nerd (@BlackNerdComedy) got to visit the folks at Shout!Factory (the ones who created the Power Rangers DVD box sets) and they video-taped it! But there’s something mysterious going on…

While celebrating their 10th Anniversary, they have a box labeled “20th Anniversary” with a lightening bolt. Upon the Black Nerd stealing the box, a light shines out followed by the classic communicator alert from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

SDCC 2013 Preview – Metallic Mighty Morphin Green Ranger

Posted on July 12, 2013 at 5:03 pm by Chris under San Diego Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con 2013 is less than a week away, and TokuNation.com is going to be there in attendance to bring all the pictures, news, and more that you could ever ask for.

Another item up for grabs at Bandai‘s booth this year is the 4 inch Metallic Mighty Morphin Green Ranger with Power Coin. The figure is painted with a metallic finish, and rather surprisingly, comes with the “megazord” coin from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers which will work in your Legacy Morpher. If you want the complete set of coins, you’ll need this bad boy as well as the highly-sought-after Golden Legacy Morpher, another SDCC 2013 exclusive.

This figure will be sold for $25 and is limited to only 300 pieces.

Also note – site owner and administrator Kickback will not only be at SDCC 2013 this year, but is also confirmed for a meet and greet with legendary Jason David Frank, who played Tommy Oliver, the Green and White Ranger.

Kickback will be broadcasting on Twitter and Facebook throughout the show, answering your questions and taking pictures at your request. Follow us @TokuNation on Twitter and be sure to ”Like” us on Facebook so you can stay up to speed with everything happening at SDCC 2013!

Go Go Power Rangers!

UPDATE! We got our numbers backwards. There’s 500 of this Green Ranger figure. The Gold Gosei Morpher (check tomorrow!) will be at 300 pieces. Our bad!

First Image of Megaforce Rangers Using Gokaiger Mobirates and Keys

Posted on July 11, 2013 at 12:39 am by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks to our good friends at RangerCrew.com we have the first actual image of the Power Rangers Megaforce preparing to go in to their “super modes” by using the morphing device from the Super Sentai Gokaiger, known in that series as a Mobirate. You can also see that they have Ranger Keys in the Mobirate, more or less confirmed that’s how they will actually transform in to the Super Megaforce Power Rangers.

Again, big special thanks to Fury Diamond of RangerCrew.com for the heads up and this image.
