Shout! Factory and TokuSHOUTsu have announced that Kamen Rider Ryuki will begin streaming on the service starting at 12am PT / 3am ET on Monday, November 1st.  The series features brand new English subtitles.  All 50 episodes will be streamed.

You can watch TokuSHOUTsu for free via their Twitch.tv channel!

The return of Lord Zedd happened in Power Rangers Dino Fury, his origin explained in the Power Rangers comics by BOOM! Studios, and now you can become Lord Zedd yourself!  Zeo Crystal not included, sadly.  Check out the official images of the Lord Zedd helmet, part of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection!  We cannot wait for this one.

Today during Hasbro PulseCon 2021 a brand new line of Power Rangers toys was announced – the Power Rangers Lightning Collection Deluxe line!  In this line of $31.99 price-point figures, we’ll get our 7+ inch monsters (formerly from the Monsters line) as well as larger figures or figures with vehicles.  Naturally, everyone was hoping for a Battleizer.  Not this time, sadly.

There was quite a bit of reveals today during Hasbro PulseCon 2021!  Between the Power Rangers Dino Fury cast panel, the Lightning Collection Panel, and the reveals from the BOOM! Studios Power Rangers Comics panel, there was quite a bit of news to reveal!

POWER RANGERS DINO FURY PANEL

  • The six Power Rangers of Power Rangers Dino Fury joined by executive producer Simon Bennett
  • Various stories on the cast and how they came together
  • Simon Bennett spoke on the recreation of Lord Zedd, who returns in Power Rangers Dino Fury
    • The costume was rebuilt to be more active and physical, whereas the original suit from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was so fragile it rarely left the throne room
    • Spoke fondly of the late Robert Axelrod, the original voice of Lord Zedd, who died some years past
  • The annual “blooper reel” was shown
  • A tease of the second season of Power Rangers Dino Fury, exclusive to Netflix
    • “The saga continues.  It picks up a short while after the end of the previous season.  The saga of Void Knight continues.  More details on Rafcon and what came of the people.  Relationships between characters grow, sometimes in very special ways.  New power ups, new zords.  There’s also a new Ranger vehicle.”

  • No news was revealed about The Eltarian War

And there’s a Power Rangers NFT available for 2 days.  Those are bad for the environment, so, you know, you do you.

under Kamen Rider, San Diego Comic Con

This year is going to be a very special San Diego Comic Con.  For starters, it’ll be the return of the largest geek and pop culture convention in the world after the global pandemic of 2020 and most of 2021.  But for fans of Kamen Rider it will also showcase the premiere of the Kamen Rider Zero One: REALxEYES movie!  Fans attending San Diego Comic Con 2021 (November 27th 2021) will be able to watch the premiere in-person!

For those unable or unwilling to do the convention scene, Tokushoutsu has announced the movie will be available to stream in January 2022 on Tokushoutsu.

Along with Kamen Rider Zero-One.

On Tuesday, October 12th 2021 it was shared via Hasbro that Brian Goldner, CEO of Hasbro from 2008-2021, had passed away after his battle with prostate cancer.  Just days prior, Brian Goldner had stepped down from his role of CEO to take an indefinite medical leave.  The heavy reality of it all is finally sinking in.

Brian Goldner‘s ties to Power Rangers takes us back to the time period around Power Rangers In Space and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.  At that time, Brian Goldner worked at Bandai (1997ish).  Those ties to the brand helped lead to Hasbro’s decision to purchase the Power Rangers brand from Saban Brands and Haim Saban in 2018.

That’s the story.

Kamen Rider Build is a fan-favorite series and, admittedly, one of my personal favorites.  Hopefully the series will be available to watch in its entirety someday without the need to find it via unofficial avenues.
