New Kyuranger candy toy line revealed

Posted on August 10, 2017 at 1:18 pm by ZeoRangerV under Super Sentai

During a promotional piece for the newly release minipla Cerberus Voyager set, Bandai’s official candy toy blog has revealed a new series of Uchu Sentai Kyuranger articulated figures! The new line is set to debut in December, and while its details and contents are still being finalised Bandai also revealed a sneak peak at the current prototype for its Shishi Red figure.

This is the first Super Sentai candy toy line to feature articulated rangers since 2013’s Kyoryuger, and while it might not be the gimmick toys or S.H. Figuarts fans were hoping for this is their first chance to grab poseable versions of its characters.

Will these be joining your collection? Check out the full sized image and let us know after the jump!

S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 2017 Revealed

Posted on July 28, 2017 at 5:42 am by ZeoRangerV under Godzilla

While the S.H. MonsterArts line seems to have slowed down considerably over the past few years, one thing they’ve remained pretty consistent on is keeping up with variants of Godzilla himself. This trend continues in December with the release of S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 2017, based on the King of Monsters’ appearance in the forthcoming Godzilla: Monster Planet anime from Toho Animation and Polygon Pictures. This version is listed as an “Initial production limited edition”.

Despite preorders set to go up on August 1st Bandai have not yet done a full reveal of the figure, suggesting that a full look at this Godzilla design may still be being kept under wraps for the time being. Nevertheless, the figure will be released in December and retail for 9936 yen. No accessories are listed, but the figure will come with some sort of special card.

Check out the full-sized images after the jump!

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Type A Suit Revealed

Posted on April 21, 2017 at 2:14 am by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

Bandai Tamashii Nations continue their line of show-accurate Ultraman S.H. Figuarts figures with the announcement of the Ultraman Type A Suit! This figure is based on the character’s appearance in the first 13 episodes of the original series, sporting a slightly leaner build, more muted red accents and an alternate show-accurate head. Currently the figure’s only known accessory is a Specium Ray effect part, likely along with a number of alternate hands.

Ultraman Type A suit will be released in September, for the price of 5940 yen.

Alternate US Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin Packaging Revealed

Posted on April 13, 2017 at 11:03 am by ZeoRangerV under Power Rangers, Super Sentai

April 29th marks the release of the long-awaited Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin, and in the lead up to this date Bandai Tamashii Nations‘ official Instagram account has revealed that the toy will receive exclusive Power Rangers packaging for its release in the US from Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA.

Whereas the Japanese Daizyujin release follows the SOC line’s fairly standard packaging format, the American release will include a more dynamic image, naturally retitling the toy as the Megazord alongside the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo.

Which version will you be getting? Sound off after the jump!

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Orb Origin & Origin The First Official Images

Posted on March 28, 2017 at 1:24 pm by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

“I am Orb! I light the darkness and strike at evil!”

After a teasing reveal last month Bandai Tamashii Nations have now updated their website with images of the forthcoming S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Orb Origin and Ultraman Orb Origin The First figures! The first modern Ultra hero to join the S.H. Figuarts line, these figures are based on the hero’s ‘true’ appearance in both Ultraman Orb and the Amazon Prime-exclusive Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga prequel series.

A mass release figure due for release in August, Ultraman Orb comes with the Orb Calibur weapon, a replacement colour timer and a number of alternate hands. Meanwhile Orb Origin The First will also be arriving that month, but will be sold exclusively through Amazon.co.jp. He comes with replacement hands, colour timer and a number of attack effect parts. Both figures cost 5940 yen each.

Preorders for Ultraman Orb Origin are scheduled to open on April 3rd, with Origin The First presumably the same day or shortly afterward.

As a further tease Tamashii Nations have also confirmed a third figure in the Ultraman Orb lineup, however it’s identity is currently unknown.

Will you be adding this Ultra Hero to your collection? Check out the full selection of images after the jump!
