The Bandai Tamashii Nations event may have only just started but the new reveals are coming in thick and fast! Many hobby magazines and stores are in attendance, and thanks to the likes of Amiami and Dengeki Hobby here are the figures you can look forward to coming in the near future! Tamashii Nations 2014 has just gotten underway in Japan and we’re already starting to see the initial reveals from the show floor! The show is still ongoing sso images and information are subject to change as we get updates.

This is a HUGE announcement. Bandai of Japan and Tamashii Nations have just revealed their joint Tamashii Web Shop venture for western markets! A brand new website which will offer Web Exclusive figures and products to English speaking western markets!

We got an inside scoop about this piece of news on the ground at New York Comic-Con earlier this month. Sadly that news was not public at the time so we had to keep a tight lid on things. But today this new Tamashii Web Shop has not only been revealed to the world, but is in fact already active! Though only 1 item is currently up for pre-order you can be sure that more items will begin to be listed in the coming days and weeks.

This is a huge step forward for western fans importing figures from Japan. Though this new web shop is so far only limited to those residing in the US & Canada it’s a pretty significant step in the collector toy market. Time will tell how far this goes.

Anime distributor Funimation has picked up the streaming rights for the upcoming Garo: Seal of Flames series!

The anime adaptation of the Golden Knight’s adventures will be simulcast with subtitles for all members who subscribe to Funimation’s streaming services. For those interested in joining, services cost 7.95 USD per month and can be played through a variety of media devices.

Garo: Seal of Flames begins this weekend in Japan! Be sure to tune in and see this new story unfold!

UPDATE! Popular subbing group TV-Nihon has stated on their Facebook page that because of the license obtained by FUNimation that they will NOT be doing subtitles for this animated Garo series. We are still awaiting to hear from the other subtitle groups on whether or not they will follow suit.

Another new teaser for the upcoming anime project GARO: Seal of Flames has been posted online. This one is much more action-heavy, giving us an excellent look at the Makai Armor & fight scenes for this project!

 

Seal of Flames is set to begin October 3rd upon conclusion of the current Garo series, Makai No Hana. Stay tuned to TokuNation until then for further details!

The voices for the upcoming GARO anime project have finally been revealed!

*Leon Lewis, the animated Garo, will be voiced by Daisuke Namikawa an outstanding voiceover veteran perhaps best know to tokusatsu fans as Speedor from Engine Sentai Go-Onger. 

*Herman Lewis, Leon’s guardian, is portrayed by Kenyu Horiuchi another long-term performer with several projects under his belt. 

*New Makai Priestess Emma will be played by Romi Park, whose previous voicework includes Digimon Adventure 02, Naruto and Kill la Kill.

*Last but not least, the mysterious prince Alfonso will be voiced by Katsuhito Nomura a relative newcomer to voice acting. 

In addition, JAM Project will be returning to GARO once again & perform the opening theme of this new anime project.

Garo: Seal of Flames will premiere in Fall 2014 (exact release date still unconfirmed. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

A new article at AnimeAnime.JP gives us some more insight into the upcoming Garo anime project Seal of Flames!

The titular Makai Knight this time around is Leon– a young man out to avenge the loss of his mother. Leon has been trained to use the Golden Armor by his mentor/guardian, Hermann.

Along the way Leon will also meet Makai Priestess Emma and a Prince named Alfonso– two more characters seeking revenge for past crimes. What events wind up linking these four souls? Only time will tell!

The collector line for this juggernaut adult themed toku continues with yet another Makai Knight being released in the line! Up next is Makai Kado Phantom Knight Crow! Sent to assist Raiga in his battles against the Horrors, Crow is a Makai Knight featured in Garo’s fourth series, Makai No Hana. 

Phantom Knight Crow looks to be every bit as faithful to his on screen counterpart as past releases in the line. Not only will he include his optional wings, but also an alternate head to replicate the visor like transformation of his helemt.  And this should also be no surprise, but Crow will be a Tamashii Web Exclusive set for release in December 2014 for 7500 yen.

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Garo anime project “Seal of Flames” has come online! This gives us our first look at the newest incarnation of the Golden Knight!

“Seal of Flames” does not yet have a confirmed release date (the trailer only mentions starting 2014) so stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting animated adventure!
