Bandai UK have just posted a new selection of in-hand images of the upcoming Power Rangers Legacy Thunder Megazord set!
These new images show off for the first time in hand just how the “sled mode” with the Thunderzord Assault Team looks. And it’s VERY impressive. Expected to start hitting store shelves & online retailers next month, the Legacy Thunder Megazord is probably the most anticipated Power Rangers release of 2016. The folks at IGN showed off a brand new trailer for the Power Rangers Dino Supercharge premiere which begins airing on January 30th on Nickelodeon. If you haven’t seen it yet – check it out! As always, there’s a chance this may be released a week early on Nick.com, as all previous premieres (whether season or mid-season) have been in the past. We’ll keep you up to date! Some key takeaways – looks like Snide and Heckyl are indeed two separate entities. Also – things look to get serious as we see Heckyl walking in to the base of our heroes! And for those who like to speculate – on Heckyl‘s collar are two distinct colors – red and blue – could the human form of Snide, aka Heckyl, become the Talon Ranger, also known as Deathryuger from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger? Time will tell! The premiere of Power Rangers Dino Supercharge is January 30th!
The folks of Bandai UK will be in attendance at this year’s Toy Fair UK as well as the Nuremberg Germany Toy Fair. They’ve taken out some pages in local UK magazines to announce this as well as state what exactly is to be expected this 2016 for Bandai products.
As will come as no surprise – the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie 2017 toys will begin to see release late in 2016, as well as Power Rangers Dino Supercharge. The article goes on to mention that promotion of the Power Rangers Dino Supercharge franchise is seen as a majority priority for Bandai UK, as new episodes of the show will begin airing in Summer 2016. At this year’s Toy Fair UK they will unveil new product for the line of figures.
Of note – this article still states January 13th, 2017 as the launch of the movie. We have since learned that the movie was pushed back once again until March 24th, 2017. The good people at Shout! Factory have announced a Complete Series DVD release for Power Rangers Wild Force.
All 40 episodes (including the special 10th Anniversary celebration, Forever Red) will be released on April 12, 2016 for the very manageable price of $16.97 USD. Release date is of course subject to change.
The wait is almost over – the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Thunder Megazord is almost here! After a trademark popped up a few days ago, fans began wondering if we’d at last learned about the next Power Rangers season.
Well, wonder no more! A new Press Release in BusinessWire officially reveals Power Rangers: Ninja Steel! Furthermore, the press release confirms Saban has renewed its contract with Nickelodeon and the network will continue airing Power Rangers until at least 2018.
Of particular note, this press release also gives us a brief story outline for the new series!
Ninja Steel’s executive producer is again fan-favorite Chip Lynn, whose efforts on Power Rangers Dino Charge were greatly welcomed by the fandom. Based on this name and description, we can assume Ninja Steel will be using footage from the 39th Super Sentai Series, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.

Studios, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Issue #0, releases at a comic store near you! Giving you just a taste of what’s in store, the actual first issue will release in March 2016 as the on-going series officially kicks off!
As we reported last week, we were lucky enough to be given an early preview of Issue #0 – be sure to check out our full, SPOILER-filled review – and now we’ve been cleared to share out images from this first issue! In light of not ruining anything for those of you who do NOT want to be spoiled, we should note that our images here are a few panels … nothing full page. It’s a new year and thus a new toy line is available for your favorite Power Rangers series! That’s right – Power Rangers Dino Charge is now Power Rangers Dino Supercharge and the toys are hitting all major retailers across the country (in various assortments that are causing collectors headaches … but we’ll touch on that at a later time!).
One of the sought after figures from the first wave is none other than the Purple Ranger, who made her debut in the season finale of Power Rangers Dino Charge. Saban Brands has apparently filed a trademark for the name Ninja Steel!
The trademark usage in question refers to Entertainment services in the nature of a live-action television series; entertainment services in the nature of development, production and distribution of a live-action television series; entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of motion pictures; entertainment services in the nature of development and production of multimedia entertainment content
Based on this naming, we can assume the 24th (and likely 25th) season(s) of Power Rangers will be using footage from the 39th Super Sentai Series, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.
