The power is on once again as TokuNation showcases another in it’s ongoing series of toy galleries focusing on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie! We’ve taken a look at 5 figures so far in Bandai of America’s Power Rangers 5″ Legacy Line for the film and today we’re taking a look at the last of the 5 core rangers, the Legacy Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie Yellow Ranger!

As with our previously reviewed Movie Rangers this figure marks the first time ever that the Movie Yellow Ranger has been portrayed properly in toy form. While nicely detailed the articulation is a mixed bag though the accessories partially make up for this. The Legacy Movie Yellow Ranger specifically comes with her Power Blaster sidearm as well as a holster for it. In addition to this is the movie exclusive Power Beam helmet! Allowing Aisha to shine bright head lamps from the Sabretooth Tiger’s eyes the toy replicates the look of this alternate helmet, without the lights of course. We break down the ins and outs of this figure, both positive & negative, in the review after the jump.

TokuNation is back to action with a new installment in our ongoing series of toy galleries focusing on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie! We’ve taken a look at 4 figures so far in Bandai of America’s Power Rangers 5″ Legacy Line for the film and today we look at a another, The Legacy Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie Blue Ranger!

As with our previously reviewed Movie Rangers this figure marks the first time ever that the Movie Blue Ranger has been portrayed properly in toy form. While nicely detailed the articulation is a mixed bag though the accessories partially make up for this. The Legacy Movie Blue Ranger specifically comes with his Power Blaster sidearm as well as a holster and the Stega Stinger! A grappling hook device used briefly by Billy in the film. The popular mobile button mashing game Power Rangers Dash, created by movegames and originally available in Asian countries, is now available in the United States on both major phone operating systems – Android and, released within the last 24 hours, on iTunes.

The game is free to play (with monetary purchases available in-game) and features a cast of characters from various Power Rangers series – but currently only Power Rangers Dino Charge, Power Rangers Super Megaforce, Power Rangers Wild Force, Power Rangers Samurai, Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, Power Rangers Mystic Force, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and the Omega Ranger from Power Rangers S.P.D..

Currently, to celebrate the release of the game on iTunes, you will receive 50,000 coins for playing the game. This gives you, basically, 100 different tries at grabbing all the various Power Rangers available but it will be totally random (and duplicates will be a-plenty). After what seems like a rather long time without any updates for the forthcoming 2016 Power Rangers film reboot, some new information has finally surfaced!

According to The Wrap, Saban Brands & Lionsgate Entertainment are currently eyeing and in fact are in negotiations with director Dean Israelite to helm the film! Israelite’s most recent project, likely his most recognizable to the public, is the time travel “found footage” thriller The Almanac Project.

Courtesy of Viacom, the parent company of Nickelodeon, an array of high resolution images of the cast of Power Rangers Dino Charge in costume have been released. These images gives us a couple of standard team shots but we also have the welcome addition of helmetless ranger images.

It’s always nice to see these types of HD photos and even better when they’re provided directly by the source. As the season continues we can probably expect more such photo dumps, especially as new rangers appear!

With Power Rangers about to go in to hiatus it seems only fitting that the toy news would begin to amp up.

EntertainmentEarth.com has a listing up for the fifth wave in the 5 inch Power Rangers Dino Charge line up and this appears to be the first wave with all new figures. The listings are as follows:

2x Gold Ranger
1x Graphite Ranger
2x Dino Drive Red Ranger
1x Dino Drive Blue Ranger
1x Dino Drive Pink Ranger
1x Dino Drive Green Ranger
2x Dino Drive Black Ranger
2x Ptera Charge Megazord

We’ve seen what we can already assume is the Dino Drive Rangers, as they are the regular suits with a power-up shield like item on their chest from our coverage at Toy Fair 2015. We’ve also seen the Gold Ranger and Ptera Charge Megazord figures, so we are incredibly curious as to the listing of the Graphite Ranger! As you remember, Bandai of America informed us that “every Ranger in the show will have a figure”.

With San Diego Comic Con only three short months away hopefully we will get our first peak! Special thanks to our good buddy raz for the initial find!

This is it! The moment no Power Rangers fan enjoys – the mid-season hiatus! In the next episode, “Knight After Knights”, the Power Rangers have to fight some evil clones of themselves and the entire game changes when Fury learns the location of the powerful Ptera Zord.

While Dino Charge is unfortunately pre-empted this weekend due to Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, the good people at RangerCrew have uploaded a preview for the next new episode!

Double Ranger, Double Danger airs April 4, 2015 at 12pm EST on Nickelodeon! Be sure to tune in and enjoy- preliminary reports suggest this will be the LAST new episode of Power Rangers Dino Charge for quite a while!
