Power Rangers Super Megaforce Q-Rex Megazord Gallery

Posted on July 5, 2014 at 12:58 am by Den-O under Power Rangers

Though we’re still several months away from the return of new Power Rangers Super Megaforce episodes on Nick, TokuNation has a little something to get you through this dry spell. Spotted recently at retail across the country and having finally been snagged by staff members we thought it was time to share with you the Q-Rex Megazord Gallery!

The Q-Rex is the personal Megazord of the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger! Sent from the future by the Time Force Rangers this machine can transform into it’s own Dinozord, Drill, & Megazord modes! A tribute to 3 past shows (Mighty Morphin Powers, Dino Thunder, & Time Force) this Megazord shares physical attributes with many of those Megazords that came before it. Like the Dragon Zord, Thundersaurus Megazord, or the original Q-Rex! Based on the DX Gozyujin toy from Bandai of Japan’s Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger line the Q-Rex puts it’s own spin on the design with the inclusion of Bandai of America’s Zord Builder system. With a plethora of these connectors & ports strategically placed through out, this toy will be a welcome addition to your collection.

After the jump we’ve assembled a lengthy review of this figure, exploring it’s many features and design elements. And we also have a 60+ image gallery for you to enjoy! If you’d like to take an up close look at the Q-Rex Megazord and see how it stacks up to it’s cousin, DX Gozyujin, then please click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottome of this post to be taken to our full gallery thread!

Legacy Lord Zedd Released at Canadian Retail!

Posted on July 3, 2014 at 4:29 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

Well that certainly didn’t take long. Revealed just over a month ago, then announced for an early release at San Diego Comic Con this month, who would have thought we’d already see this figure at retail? But the hunt is on! @dimitridemel on Twitter just stumbled across the Power Rangers Legacy 5″ Lord Zedd figure!

Found at the Brampton, Ontario Canada Toys ‘R’ Us this figure retails for for $16.99 CAD. And as we can see now, Lord Zedd also sports some very awesome vintage style Power Rangers packaging clearly modeled after the 8″ Mighty Morphin Power Ranger assortments of old.

UPDATED – A new back of box image confirms that the Power Weapons included with the 5″ Legacy Power Rangers will be able to combine to form the Powe Blaster!

A domestic US release should be happening any time now, but this is great news for Canadian collectors! For anyone unable to find it before SDCC, remember that Entertainment Earth will also have this shared exclusive for sale at their booth there later this month!

Official Images of Super Megaforce Ninja Zord

Posted on July 3, 2014 at 12:13 am by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks once again to the awesome @PockyBandit on Twitter, we have a link to an Amazon.com listing for the upcoming Power Rangers Super Megaforce Ninja Zord!

The Ninja Zord is, of course, an adaptation of the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger mecha by the name of Karakuri Warrior Fūraimaru. The differences between the two toys are, well, they’re large. Very large. And when the first images were shown earlier this year (and late last year), TokuNation forum members were overly not pleased with the changes. However, with these new official images, maybe a few minds can be changed and the opinions can sway a bit.

Check out all the images by clicking the title of the story.

So share your thoughts. Have they changed on the Super Megaforce Ninja Zord? Or do you still think it’s a weak offering from Bandai of America? Or do you not even care? Join in the discussion and sound off!

More Official Super Megaforce Images – Silver Spear, Zord Builder Cycles, Silver Hero Set

Posted on July 2, 2014 at 9:10 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

The images from Amazon keep on rolling in! With special thanks to @PockyBandit on Twitter for sharing these finds, we have our first official images for the Turbo Cycle, Operation Overdrive Cycle, the Silver Spear roleplay item, and the Silver Ranger Hero Set. These items should come with Ranger Keys, though it is unclear which key comes with what (the same Wild Force Red Ranger key is shown on the Cycles, and Robo Knight Ranger Key with the Silver Spear).

We’ve attached the images on to this news story, so click the news story to check them all out!

Are you planning to pick up any of these items? Are any of them must-buys for you or maybe for your own young ones? Join in the discussion thread and share your thoughts! And don’t forget to share your latest toy finds in our Sightings Forum, where you can share your finds with other fans in the area and maybe make a new friend or two!

Official Images of Super Megaforce Silver Morpher with Silver Ranger Key

Posted on July 2, 2014 at 8:55 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

The first official images of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Silver Morpher are now online courtesy Amazon.com. As was to be expected, this item comes with the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger Key. There had been some hope that perhaps this morpher would come with a few extra 6th Ranger keys, but alas, that does not seem to be the case.

Also, by looking at the item description and comparing it to the Gokai Cellular version (the Bandai of Japan version that is), it would appear that the “scanning” gimmick has also been removed from the toy. The gimmick served no real purpose to the functionality of the toy, it just made it match the show a little bit more by having a red light come on and an anchor drop inside the morpher above the key, giving you the impression that the key was actually being scanned. We also cannot see any of the decals inside the morpher that were present in the Bandai of Japan version.

This item should be releasing soon to all the major retail outlets. Have you found a new Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy in your area? Why don’t you head over to our Sightings Forum! It has a directory system by state, allowing you to filter out all the other locations that don’t relate to you, as well as giving you an opportunity to meet some local #RangerNation members.

What do you think? Are you going to pick up the Silver Morpher? Sound off in the discussion thread!

YouTube Sensation PelleK Releases New Go Go Power Rangers Song

Posted on July 2, 2014 at 12:07 am by Chris under Power Rangers

The internet sensation PelleK, who earlier this year did all the Power Rangers theme songs in concession as one giant song and was later picked up by Haim Saban himself, eventually having the song (and instrumental) released as the Power Rangers Mega Mix, has released an all new Power Rangers song simply titled “Go Go Power Rangers”. It’s different but it’s a little catchy. Would you want to see PelleK do the Power Rangers Dino Charge theme song? Sound off in our discussion and enjoy the video below.
