Once again we’ve come upon the time of year we love most – time for the members and staff of TokuNation.com to celebrate their respective holidays with their friends and loved ones. But it’s also time for TokuNation to celebrate itself. Our little community has hit another milestone this year, our 6 year anniversary!! January 4th 2018, will officially mark 6 years since TokuNation first went public as part of the network of TFW2005.COM, ToyArk.com, and HissTank.com through both network owner Tony_Bacala and TokuChris.

For 6 years now we’ve posted news, rumors, toy galleries, videos, and even dabbled in podcasts for a bit (never forget Talkin Toku!). As times have changed we have tried to change with them, delivering you content in different ways, updating our photography to take better galleries, and expanded in to new areas (check out our official YouTube channel, full launch coming in 2018!). But there’s one thing that we don’t want to change – our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway!

Like years past TokuNation is hosting an annual holiday giveaway open to ALL registered users! You’ll recall that in years’ past giveaways, users could post in a selection of galleries within the contest period to automatically be entered into the drawing for 1 of 4 prize packs. This year however we’ve opened things up. Not only will we be posting a number of eligible galleries throughout the month of December, but every gallery we’ve posted in 2017 also makes you eligible! If you’ve already posted in the 1 of the 40 galleries we’ve produced this year, then you’re already entered. If not, you already have 40 chances with more on the way this month! To show our appreciation to you, the community, we’ve assembled 4 incredible prize packs spanning Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and more!

Throughout the month of December we will be revealing all the prize packs on the TokuNation YouTube Channel. On Christmas Eve we will reveal the “Grand Prize” of each of the 4 prize package categories. As always, there will be late additions as we accumulate things or find incredible deals on various items throughout the Holiday season. “Appear, Guardian Beast Dragon Caesar!”

As though Burai himself commanded the great beast to appear, we have finally been treated to the official unveiling of the Soul Of Chogokin Dragon Caesar (MMPR Dragonzord) at Tamashii Nations 2017!

This gorgeous companion piece to SOC Daizyujin/Megazord was teased some months ago with initial design sketches having been released by Bandai Japan. Now, as Tamashii Nations 2017 continues to surprise us with new reveals, the SOC Dragon Caesar figure is on full display. We don’t currently have any confirmed information about it’s release date, format, or pricing. As soon as any of that information comes to light, we’ll be sure to share it with you. Following the release of Super Sentai Artisan DX Rairen’Oh last year Bandai teased us with the prospect of an Artisan Won Tiger release, and that piece has fully been revealed in the latest issue of Figure Oh magazine.

Of course, Super Sentai Artisan DX Won Tiger is fully capable of combining with the aforementioned Dairen’Oh. Also included are seven Treasure Perals which can be swapped out.  All of this will cost 14,400 yen as a P-Bandai release.

Ahead of the official announcement, the next pair of retro Super Minipla kits have been revealed courtesy of @_Erasu: we not only have colored photos of Super Minipla Live Robo(Having been previously been revealed in a blog entry from Bandai awhile back) AND Live Boxer.

Release info for the pair are forthcoming, but at least we know that the pair can combine into Super Liverobo. 

 

UPDATE:

Thanks to a pre-order link from Amazon Japan we now know that Super Minipla Live Robo will cost 4,536 yen and will see a release March 31st 2018.

Fans of Kamen Rider are all too familiar with the Detail of Heroes photograph book series which features high quality, up close and personal details of their favorite Kamen Rider characters. For the first time ever, a Super Sentai series will grace the pages of the Detail of Heroes series.

Available for pre-order at AmiAmi.com, Detail of Heroes Uchu Sentai Kyuranger Say the Go! is listed with a late December 2017 release. The price is 3,240 yen. The characters slated to appear are as follows:

Another round of magazine scans has currently been released for the 41st Super Sentai Series, showing fans a bit about the further adventures of Uchu Sentai KyuRanger!

This month features Lucky returning to his home planet, recovering a gift from his father- the legendary King Aslan. The gift in question turns out to be ANOTHER Mecha- the Kojishi Voyager!

The Leo Minor Mecha is able to combine with Lucky’s own Shishi Voyager, creating the Super Shishi Voyager! And to add even more to the KyuRangers’ arsenal, Kojishi can combine with other Voyagers to create SUPER KyuRenOh! This new configuration adds a powerful cannon to KyuRenOh, greatly enhancing their firepower.

Finally, the hunt is on for 4 new KyuTama that may finally put an end to the Jark Matter for good: the KyuRangers must find the Perseus, Andromeda, Cepheus and Cassiopeia Kyutama!

Before there was Power Rangers there was Super Sentai! And with that catchphrase, Shout! Factory continues with their releases of the Super Sentai series on DVD. Releasing on 10/31 is none other than Denji Sentai Megaranger, the Super Sentai season that was adapted in to the fan-favorite series Power Rangers In Space.

To celebrate the release of the next chapter in the Super Sentai series, Shout! Factory TV is doing a live stream this coming Saturday, October 28th at 10:00am PST at www.shoutfactorytv.com as well as channel 512 on Pluto TV. Seven full episodes of Denji Sentai Megaranger will be aired, with added commentary from Shamus Kelly, known in the Power Rangers fandom for his work on the Dan’s Toku Rants and No Pink Spandex podcasts.

The episodes that will be on the live stream are as follows:

Earlier this year, we reported that Shout! Factory would be continuing their official Super Sentai releases with the fan-favorite Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.

Now we appear to have a release date for this Super Sentai release! An official Amazon Order Page has opened, with release currently scheduled for January 30 2018! As always though, release details are subject to change.

A few days ago, Super Minipla King Brachion(AKA: Titanus) made his grand debut at the All Japan Hobby Model Show, where Bandai announced that this bad boy will run you the astronomical price of 12,960 yen. Since his debut, pre orders for this massive beast of a model kit is set to begin, and with that pre-order some new details have been revealed that might explain why this costs as much as it does along with showcasing the impressive fully combined Ultra Zord mode.

A post from https://www.facebook.com/Tokullectibles]Tokullectibles mentions that it takes AA Batteries, from translating the pre-order page we can confirm that the kit will have electronics for some sort of motorized gimmick. None the less, pre-orders for Super Minipla King Brachion will begin October 5th, 2017 with a final shipping date of February 2018.

Here’s a fun surprise for fans of Uchu Sentai Kyuranger. Thanks to the Bandai Candy blog, we have our first look at an upcoming Morimer Robo Mini-Pla set coming for the Uchu Sentai Kyuranger line of Mini-Pla. For those unfamiliar with the Morimer Robo, they are the giant towers that transform in to giant robots that battle the voyagers in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.

The set looks to be a Set A and Set B release (consisting of two total packages) for a whopping 350 yen a piece. Stay tuned for more details and eventual colored images.
