At the last Tamashii Nations event, it was announced that a hyper-stylized, gritty take on Kamen Rider Ghost was coming down the pipeline. At the time, we only had lineart of what the line’s take on Ghost will look like but since then, @T_features just recently posted our first look at the prototype via a series of tweets

In addition to Ghost, two new prototypes emerged: a new take on Kamen Rider Ryuki and a teaser for the long-awaited S.I.C Kamen Rider Fourze.

There isn’t much on when these figures will be coming out or in what form, at the moment all we have to go on are these prototypes. Do note that S.I.C underwent a rebranding and is now Superior Imaginitive Coliseum.

Today, Toei began streaming a new video promoting the upcoming Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever film (which comes out in two days!). But rather than just a new teaser or trailer for the film, this video previews the films theme song, which is itself a compilation and re-mix of the Opening Themes for all 20 Heisei Riders!

Titled “Heisei Generations Forever Medley D.A. Re-Build Mix” this song arranges clips from each of the 20 Heisei Rider OP’s into one giant song, set to a variety of archival footage as well as new scenes from the soon to be released film itself.  This new theme was arranged by Daisuke Asakura.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever hits Japanese theaters on December 22nd! Toei has announced even more veteran Kamen Riders returning for the amazing anniversary series that is Kamen Rider Zi-O!

*Actor Shun Nishime will be reprising his role as Takeru Tenkuji- also known as Kamen Rider Ghost! At the moment, it seems Kamen Rider Zi-O will visit Ghosts’ temple and as a result the King of Time will receive new advice from the ghostly Rider.

*Not to be outdone, Renma Taga shall reprise his role as Makoto– better known as Kamen Rider Specter!

Tamashii Nations 2018 is currently happening from today until October 28th. As always this event brings us a smattering of new reveals, many which may or may not ever see the light of day again afterwards. It’s become a bit of a game in recent years to figure just what won’t be released. A plethora of new images for the upcoming Kamen Rider Zi-O toyline have been released!

This is our best look yet at the Rider Kick Figure series- specifically the Rider Armor releases. These figures represent the powers of legendary Kamen Riders!

The next two releases in this series will be Rider Armors based on Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and Kamen Rider Ghost! Both Armors have reversible color patterns to better match the basic RKF bodies belonging to Kamen Rider Zi-O and Kamen Rider Geiz.

And as an extra bonus we have a close look at the new Riders’ method of transportation- the DX RideStriker! This is a unique motorcycle toy that transforms into a special RideWatch that can be used in the DX ZikuDriver.

With the premiere of Kamen Rider Zi-O only days away, merchandise is already on its way to store shelves! Be sure to stop by your preferred Rider retailer to stock up on all your Zi-O needs!

With Kamen Rider Zi-O heralding the end of the Heisei Era for Kamen Rider, and in commemoration of the 20th Heisei Rider himself, Tamashii Nations has announced the S.H. Figuarts Heisei Riders Rising Project!

The Rising Project announcement promises the reveal of 3 new Heisei Rider figuarts in the near future. The first of these 3 riders will be revealed on August 24th. Currently speculation is running wild as to what these 3 figures will actually be. Will this be Kiva’s time? There’s Zi-O which begins airing next month  as well, so now would be an ideal time to reveal his first figuart. Then there’s the possibility that 1 or more of these figures could be a Shinkocchou Seihou renewal of an out of date release like OOO, Fourze, or even Faiz.

Exactly who these 3 Heisei Riders are, is something we’ll be watching closely in the coming weeks. So we’ll be sure to keep the community up to date!

News about the upcoming 20th Heisei Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider Zi-O continues to drip out on a fairly steady pace, and each bit we receive seems even more exciting than the last!

This latest batch of scans focuses first on the Jikku Driver, the henshin device used by both Kamen Riders in this series. The Driver face spins 360 degrees to transform and was apparently developed after years of research though its true origins are not yet revealed in full.

The Jikku Driver is powered by RiderWatches! These coin-shaped devices are said to contain the powers of previous Kamen Riders- and all the Heisei Riders are shown in RiderWatch form!

By inserting the RiderWatch into the JikkuDriver, a Rider gains new Rider Armor with unique abilities!

*Kamen Rider Zi-O’s first RiderArmor form uses the Kamen Rider Build RiderWatch- creating Kamen Rider Zi-O Build Armor!
*Kamen Rider Gates starts off with the Kamen Rider Ghost RiderWatch- granting the power of Kamen Rider Gates Ghost Armor!

In addition to visiting past Kamen Riders, this series will also resurrect VILLAINS from Rider history! Kamen Rider Zi-O is seen facing off against Lord Baron from Kamen Rider Gaim.

The world will get its first proper look at Kamen Rider Zi-O during the Kamen Rider Build: BE THE ONE movie- premiering in theaters on August 4 2018! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this remarkable new Rider series!

It’s that time of year again folks! Kamen Rider Build is sadly drawing to a close, and as we say our farewells a new hero rises to take his place: Kamen Rider Zi-O who was revealed earlier in the week.

Not long after the reveal, our first toy catalog scans are beginning to surface online thanks to Twitter user @Tokullector and translations from @SpecialForm12

A few things worth noting from the translations:

  • Kamen Rider Zi-O’s belt is called the Jikku Driver
  • The second Rider shown previously is called Kamen Rider Gates
  • The form changes are called ArmorTime, both Gates and Zi-O uses RideWatches to activate these forms.
  • Kamen Rider Zi-O has ArmorTimes based on Build and Ex-Aid while Gates will use forms based on Ghost and Drive.
  • Zi-O’s default sidearm is called the JikanGrade and will have both a sword and gun mode.

Do note that what we are seeing are scans for the Gashapon toys, we’ll be seeing scans for the DX stuff in the next few days. In the meantime, stay tuned to Tokunation and we’ll provide you more updates as they become available.

As is customary with Kamen Rider, the gimmick line of each series ends up having “legend Riders” power-ups. Kamen Rider Build is continuing that tradition with the DX Legend Rider Full Bottles which have been uncovered today by @_Erasu on Twitter.

You will be able to pick up Kamen Rider Fourze, Kamen Rider Wizard, Kamen Rider Gaim, Kamen Rider Drive, Kamen Rider Ghost, and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid DX Full Bottles for your Build Driver! Check out all the images in the story.
