When things changed, Billy was always there with a steady hand and strong mind to help guide the Power Rangers towards victory.

The Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger finally rounds out our reviews of the Lightning Collection Wave 5 figures, and brings us close to having the full MMPR team. Armed with the Tricera Lance in both forms as well as his Blade Blaster Billy is ready to face any threat. Of course some extra hands, and energy effect, and an unmasked head based on the likeness of actor David Yost also round out this release! Next time we revisit MMPR one more time to round out the final standard member of the team with the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger!

Via the power of social media – specifically Twitter – ThreeZero has teased upcoming 1/6th scale Power Rangers figures as part of their FigZero collection.  There are no details to be shared at this time but feast your eyes on these figures.

Unlike other 1/6th scale figures that you may have seen of the Power Rangers this past year – these ARE officially licensed by Hasbro.

Hasbro PulseCon revealed a brand new WalMart exclusive line of Power Rangers figures. This new series is called “Retro Morph Power Rangers”, and features retro styling of brand new auto-morphin figures. These are due out in Spring 2021 and Wave 1 consists of the following figures:

  • Red Ranger
  • Black Ranger
  • Blue Ranger
  • Pink Ranger

Fans will note the absence of a Green, Yellow, and White Ranger … but Hasbro teased that this is simply wave 1.  These are available to order at 5pm EST on WalMart.com.

Hot off the heels of his New York Toy Fair debut, official images and release info are out for the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger from Hasbro’s Power Rangers Lightning Collection! 

Currently listed for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse, the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger product description reads:

This 6-inch Lightning Collection Blue Ranger figure features premium paint and decorative details inspired by the show, over 20 points of articulation for high poseability, swappable heads to display the Ranger with or without his helmet, Power Lance and other character-inspired accessories, blast effect piece, and an extra pair of hands for more ways to play or display. Go Go Power Rangers!

Includes figure, 4 accessories, alternate head, and extra hands.

  • This Power Rangers Lightning Collection action figure has premium painted details and design inspired by the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series

It’s Morphin’ Time once again as Hasbro takes a stab at the classic Dino Megazord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Revealed via leaked listing information yesterday, this officially display prototype of the set gives us our first look at it from New York Toy Fair. Our man on the ground TokuChris was kind enough to snap several photos for us as well as share some first impressions.

The Buildable Dino Megazord is roughly the size of Bandai America’s old 2010/Legacy mold Megazord, Hasbro sought to re-reate the classic play pattern of the Megazord for the original series, this release is intended for kids and will be released in 3 parts, each priced at $14.99. The T-Rex with Sword, the Triceratops with Sabertooth Tiger, and Mastodon with Pterodactyl. Hasbro’s official description of the set reads as follows:

The Mighty Morphin Rangers call upon their powerful Zords to lead the Rangers into battle. The BUILDABLE DINO MEGAZORD Assortment includes the TYRANNOSAURUS REX DINO ZORD figure, TRICERATOPS AND SABERTOOTH TIGER DINO ZORD 2-pack figures and MASTODON AND PTERODACTYL DINO ZORD 2-pack figures. Combine all figures to build the DINO MEGAZORD. To protect the Earth, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinozord carries the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger into battle, while the Sabertooth Tiger and Triceratops Dinozords carry the Mighty Morphin Blue and Yellow Rangers into battle and the Mastodon and Pterodactyl Dinozords carry the Mighty Morphin Black and Pink Rangers into battle. Kids can imagine the Rangers blasting into battle and joining their teammates to form the Dino Megazord!

New listings for the Power Rangers Lightning Collection action figure series have confirmed the case breakdowns for the next two waves of this fan-favorite line!

Wave 4 of the Lighting Collection will consist of:

3x PRG LC ZEO BLUE RANGER 6IN FIGURE (630509905249).
2x PRG LC SPD RED RANGER 6IN FIGURE (630509905256).
2x PRG LC BMR CYBERVILLAIN BLAZE 6IN FIGURE (630509905263).
1x PRG LC MMPR YELLOW RANGER 6IN FIGURE (630509905270).

Meanwhile, Wave 5 will follow with this lineup:

2x PRG LC ZEO GOLD RANGER 6IN FIGURE (630509936038).

These new listings match original store computer findings for upcoming Lightning Collection figures AND appear to confirm that the waves will continue to have four figures instead of three as some rumors suggested.

Wave 4 of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection is tentatively scheduled for release in March 2020 with Wave 5 slotted for a June 2020 release window.
