Way back at the Tamashii Shanghai event, we got our first look at a possible release for Ultraman X’s Bemstar Armor. Though things have been quiet since, Tamashii just stealthily announced last night that a full Mons Armor set with 3 armors is on the way for X!

The S.H. Figuarts Ultraman X Mons Armor Option Parts Set will include the Bemstar, Eleking, and Zetton Armors! You’ll of course need the base Ultraman X S.H. Figuart to make use of these Armors. The set also includes X’s unique Xanadium Ray effect part, a color time to use with it, and a special display base to hold the effect. This huge set of upgrades retails for just 7150 yen, and will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in January 2020.

In the recent deluge of Figureoh magazine, Bandai’s announced that the small sized Shodo VS line will be expanding into the Ultraman series.

Shodo VS Ultraman Series 1 will include Ultraman himself, Ultra Seven, and two Kaiju to fight: King Joe and finally Zetton. 

Series 1 will be released this October 2016 each individual one costing only about 540 yen each.

Bandai has just updated it’s Ultraman 50th Anniversary page with a full set of official images for S.H. Figuarts Zetton!

This figure was just revealed in last weeks’ Tamashii Pick Up so there’s nothing new we haven’t seen before. But it’s nice to get a full look at this upcoming release. Zetton appears to at least include an effect part for interacting with S.H. Figuarts Ultraman, though not much else. We’ll update you if that changes.

S.H. Figuarts Zetton will be released in October as a retail release for 6480 yen.

As with every year there were more than a few surprises on display, the expected & unexpected, a few disappointments, line changes, and a few notable absences. This has been one great show this year! However the absence of Super Sentai figuarts & the smaller presence of Metal Heroes & other offbeat toku heroes is noticeable. In a similar fashion to the Ultra Monster Personification Eleking-San statue released a few years ago, Griffon Enterprises is apparently carrying on that concept with their Ultra Kaiji Gijinka line of PVC statues.

The first two to receive the bishojou anime girl treatment will be the Kaijus Zetton and Baltan, both will retail for 11,800 yen before shipping fees.

Zetton Girl will be released in September while Baltan Girl comes out in August, and both can now be pre ordered from AmiAmi as of this writing.
