Posted on May 16, 2018 at 4:01 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Thanks as always to our friend Erasu, we’ve come upon that time of month when new official images being to drop. Ahead of the official listing pages for both figures, we have our first looks at the official pics for S.H. Figuarts Crow Amazon as well as S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Neo Alpha!

While we’ll have to wait until tonight for the full listings to go up, these initial images do offer us our first look at these highly anticipated releases. Crow Amazon doesn’t appear to come with any unique accessories, while Neo Alpha comes with his machine gun arm attachment. We’ll know later tonight what the specific release details and parts breakdowns are for both of these figures.

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kabuto Hyper Form Gallery

Posted on May 14, 2018 at 4:25 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“I already have the future in my hand.”

Transformed by the Hyper Zecter, armed with the Perfect Zecter, Souji Tendou walks the path of heaven once more in our gallery of S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kabuto Hyper Form!

Kabuto Hyper Form is just the latest in a long succession of Figuarts releases from Kamen Rider Kabuto that date back to the earliest days of the line. With Shinkocchou Seihou releases for this series in full swing it was only a matter of time before Kabuto’s most powerful form debuted. A detailed recreation of the Hyper Form suit, gimmicks and all, this figuart succeeds in being better in every aspect than the ancient original release. Featuring a Hyper Clock Up mode, some much improved wings of light, as well as a fully functional Perfect Zecter, it really can’t get better than this.

You can view our full gallery of 100 images and read through our review of Kabuto Hyper Form by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time, we return to Kamen Rider W with the berserker form Shinkocchou Seihou Fang Joker!

New Official Images of Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Riders Ibuki, Todoroki, & Zanki

Posted on May 11, 2018 at 1:11 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

While orders may be closing this month for S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Ibuki, Bandai has release a fresh set of official images of him on their blog. Although this figure won’t actually be released until August, it looks absolutely stunning in these shots. Perhaps more importantly though, these images give us our first official look at Seihou releases for Kamen Riders Todoroki & Zanki!

Both of these figures have made appearances at previous Tamashii events with Ibuki, though so far he’s the only one of the trio due for release. Could this mean another pair of Oni will be joining our collections soon? We can only hope. We’ll keep you up to date on all of these gorgeous figures when and as more information becomes available.

Robot Spirits 7-11 Japan Exclusive Gipsy Avenger Clear Blueprint Version Gallery

Posted on May 6, 2018 at 4:38 pm by Den-O under General Tokusatsu News, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Born Ready. War Ready.”

Last month we took you on a tour of all things Pacific Rim Uprising with a complete look at the line of Robot Spirits figures produced for the film from Tamashii Nations. 6 solid releases, each with it’s own strengths and weaknesses. Gipsy Avenger, Obsidian Fury, Titan Redeemer & Bracer Phoenix, and Guardian Bravo & Saber Athena. Now, we get to add an extra step on that journey with a look a this recent 7-11 Japan Exclusive release, Robot Spirits Gipsy Avenger Clear Blueprint Version!

Blueprint Gipsy Avenger takes a mold we’re very familiar with at this point, an excellent one at that, and recasts the entire thing in gorgeous translucent blue with ice blue accents. Physically the figure functions entirely the same way, but it’s astounding how different and good it can look in these new colors. Equipped with the same Gravity Sling and Chain Sword as the original release, Blueprint Gipsy is a fantastic exclusive that may not be for everyone, but if you love this franchise, it’s a must own.

We’ve put together just over 60 images of this beauty for your viewing pleasure. You can check out out the full gallery and review after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Coming up soon we check out new releases from Kamen Rider Kabuto & Kamen Rider W!

S.H. Figuarts Crow Amazon & Amazon Neo Alpha Teased for Release

Posted on May 6, 2018 at 1:38 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

It seems that our belief in Amazon continues to breathe new life into the figure line as well. Up until this point the last Figuarts release for Amazons had been Season 2 Alpha. As of today however, Bandai has officially begun teasing out the release of S.H. Figuarts Crow Amazon and S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Neo Alpha! Teaser images were released through the official Figuarts blog.

Both figures have so far only been teased in silhouette form, but we suspect with the theatrical release of the Amazons Movie just around the corner, that these teasers will be fully revealed soon. As more news and information about these potential releases is made public, we’ll be sure to update you.

Choujuu Sentai Liveman: Super Minipla Live Robo Gallery

Posted on May 2, 2018 at 3:45 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Gattai! Live Dimension!”

Since Super Minipla began in mid-2016, it’s blossomed into quite the heavy hitting toyline. Setting itself apart from Bandai’s normal Minipla toyline, Super manages to recreate giant robots (of the live action and animated varieties) in fantastic form. In many cases these new models are incredible cost-effective alternatives to long gone and expensive DX toys. So far that’s been illustrated best by today’s subject, Super Minipla Live Robo!

Choujuu Sentai Liveman was the 2nd sentai announced for this line after Zyuranger, and if collector reaction is any indicator then Bandai needs to focus on more pre-zyu series. Super Minipla Live Robo is one excellent set. Thanks to the new and innovative design methods used for this line over standard Minipla, we get 3 fully functional vehicles in Sky Land & Aqua Machines. We also get an intricate transformation with minimal parts removal that results in a functional highly poseable robot armed with it’s trademark Super Beast Sword & Live Shield. Even if model kits aren’t your thing, this set definitely will be.

We’ve assembled a MASSIVE 150+ image gallery of Live Robo as well as a full 5 part review. Each post in the gallery thread focuses on another piece of the set culminating in Live Robo at the end. Catch the whole thing by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back soon with another brand new gallery from Pacific Rim Uprising!

DX Evol Driver & Bottles, DX Dragon & Rabbit Evol Bottles Official Images

Posted on April 30, 2018 at 7:45 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Our favorite toy revealing sleuth is at it again. @_Erasu on twitter has dug up fresh official images of some new upcoming goodies from Kamen Rider Build!

First up we have official images for the latest take on the Build Driver (or rather the other way around) the DX Evol Driver! Giving Evolt access to his full powers transforming him into Kamen Rider Evol, this archetype Driver made it’s official debut in this week episode of Build (33). This new roleplay belt includes the DX Cobra & Rider System Evol Bottles.

Next we’ve got the DX Evol Bottles Rabbit & Dragon Set! Giving Kamen Rider Evol access to his other two forms (based on our heroes no less!) these new bottles are still fully compatible with the impressive new Evol Driver.

As always, these are early release official images. Actual release dates and pricing should be known within the next 12 hours as the Bandai site updates for the first of the month. We’ll be sure to update you, then!
