Ultra-Act Ultraman Noa Gallery

Posted on February 26, 2014 at 1:58 am by Den-O under TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights, Ultraman

And we’re back with another Ultra-Act gallery! You may remember our little segment on Let’s Watch Wednesdays last year featuring Ultraman Nexus. Is so you’re in luck, today’s gallery is of none other than Ultraman Noa!

Noa is the true and Ultimate form of The Next & Ultraman Nexus. A being of immeasurable power Noa has protected his universe for hundreds of thousands of years. Dark Zagi was even cloned from Noa by the Visitors in the hopes of creating a second great hero. In an ironic twist of this relationship the Ultra-Act Noa figure is a remold of Ultra-Act Dark Zagi instead. As yet another excellent addition to the Ultra-Act line, Noa has received a gorgeous design & sculpt as well as selection of accessories despite his extremely limited appearances.

S.H. Figuarts Armed Tyranno Ranger Gallery

Posted on February 22, 2014 at 12:27 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates

It’s time for another trip down memory lane with the original dionsaur sentai. From Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger it’s S.H. Figuarts Armed Tyranno Ranger! This recent Tamashii Web Exclusive release is better known to western fans as the Mighty Morphin Armored Red Ranger, it was released in North American markets by Bluefin in Power Rangers 20th Anniversary packaging.

This figure represents Geki, Tyranno Ranger, after the death of Burai/Dragon Ranger. He inherited the Dragon Ranger powers from his brother and with them control over the mighty Dragon Caesar! This event was interpreted in the US MMPR adaptation as the Green Ranger powers being weakened and requiring a temporary host in the Red Ranger. The real world explanation for this is the above Zyuranger scenario, at the time no more footage was available of the Green Ranger. In the source footage he was literally dead. It wasn’t until the “Zyu2” footage was created by Toei that the Green Ranger could return on temporary occasions.

Overall this figure takes the best elements of both Tyranno & Dragon Rangers and crafts one excellent toy with them. If you have either of the other 2 figures you may feel this one is superfluous. Trust us, it isn’t. It’s another excellent addition to any Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers collection and will complement your other figures well. Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to view the full image gallery.

S.H. Figuarts Auto Vaijin Transformation Video

Posted on February 21, 2014 at 11:08 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Battle Mode!

At long last Bandai is set to release the highly anticipated S.H. Figuarts Auto Vaijin from Kamen Rider Faiz!

As a tease of it’s upcoming release they’ve streamed a FULL transformation video of the figure. The best part however is that the video confirms two things. 1, the included Faiz in the Faiz/Vaijin 2-pack will indeed have accurate silver tipped fingers. 2, this Auto Vaijin is not only 100% transformable but it requires a mere single extra part to facilitate this transformation, and that’s only to hold the rear wheel assembly in place! Everything else is pure engineered awesomeness.

Toy Fair 2014 – Tamashii Nations SH Monsterarts Godzilla

Posted on February 16, 2014 at 12:01 pm by Joe Moore under Godzilla, Toy Fair

And more pics roll in from New York Toy Fair 2014! The Network crew swung by the Tamashii Nations booth to grab these S.H. Monsterarts pics for us.

Though there aren’t technically any new figures out to see, a small sign does confirm the coming of S.H. Monsterarts 2014 Godzilla!! The sign reads “S.H. Monsterarts coming Summer 2014” next to a Godzilla 2014 Movie poster. So it seems the latest incarnation of the big lizard himself will be receiving the high end SHMA treatment after all!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Agito Shining Form In Hand Images

Posted on February 13, 2014 at 2:40 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Thanks to blogppoi@Nifty we have our first solid look at S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Agito Shining Form! The official release date of this figure is actually February 15th but it appears this blogger received theirs early.

Though it isn’t known yet whether Shining Form will suffer from the same quality control issues as Burning Agito, it’s certainly an impressive looking figure. Check out the full set of images attached to this article and start watching for yours to arrive any time now!
