Hot off the heels of her New York Toy Fair debut, official images and release info are out for the Ranger Slayer from Hasbro’s Power Rangers Lightning Collection! 

Currently sold out, though still listed on Hasbro Pulse, the Ranger Slayer product description reads:

This 6-inch Lightning Collection Ranger Slayer figure features premium paint and decorative details inspired by the show, over 20 points of articulation for high poseability, Bow of Darkness and multiple other character-inspired accessories, and blast effect piece for more ways to play or display. Go Go Power Rangers!

Includes: figure and 5 accessories.

It’s Morphin’ Time once again as Hasbro takes a stab at the classic Dino Megazord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Revealed via leaked listing information yesterday, this officially display prototype of the set gives us our first look at it from New York Toy Fair. Our man on the ground TokuChris was kind enough to snap several photos for us as well as share some first impressions.

The Buildable Dino Megazord is roughly the size of Bandai America’s old 2010/Legacy mold Megazord, Hasbro sought to re-reate the classic play pattern of the Megazord for the original series, this release is intended for kids and will be released in 3 parts, each priced at $14.99. The T-Rex with Sword, the Triceratops with Sabertooth Tiger, and Mastodon with Pterodactyl. Hasbro’s official description of the set reads as follows:

The Mighty Morphin Rangers call upon their powerful Zords to lead the Rangers into battle. The BUILDABLE DINO MEGAZORD Assortment includes the TYRANNOSAURUS REX DINO ZORD figure, TRICERATOPS AND SABERTOOTH TIGER DINO ZORD 2-pack figures and MASTODON AND PTERODACTYL DINO ZORD 2-pack figures. Combine all figures to build the DINO MEGAZORD. To protect the Earth, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinozord carries the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger into battle, while the Sabertooth Tiger and Triceratops Dinozords carry the Mighty Morphin Blue and Yellow Rangers into battle and the Mastodon and Pterodactyl Dinozords carry the Mighty Morphin Black and Pink Rangers into battle. Kids can imagine the Rangers blasting into battle and joining their teammates to form the Dino Megazord!

Not to outshine their own reveal of Power Rangers Lightning Collection Wave 5 Hasbro has also unveiled their own take on the iconic weapon of the Green Ranger with the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger! As always, we told TokuChris the only way he’s getting a plane ticket home is if we keep getting pics! So here you are, some solid in person images of the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger! Priced at a very reasonable $59.99, the Dragon Dagger is scheduled for release in August!

Hasbro has confirmed the source footage for the next season of Power Rangers!

As many have predicted, the next Super Sentai to be adapted for Western audiences is the CURRENT Super Sentai- Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger!

The RyuSoulgers (Power Rangers name unconfirmed at time of writing) will join the Power Rangers family beginning in 2021! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this new entry in Power Rangers history!

The Lightning Collection toyline seems to be moving in a new direction!

Some new leaked photos from a listing on Amazon Italy have revealed a new roleplay item to be released in the Lightning Collection. Hasbro is apparently doing their own take on the Green Rangers’ iconic weapon- the Dragon Dagger!

Sadly, price & release details for the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger have not been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this exciting new release!

Arrow Films have now opened preorders for their forthcoming Gamera: The Complete Collection blu-ray set, and with that have finally revealed this full contents of this premium package.

In total the set includes all 12 Gamera films across 8 Blu-ray Discs, including 4k restorations of the Heisei era trilogy (Gamera: Guardian of the Universe, Gamera 2: Attack of Legion and Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris). Also included are audio commentaries, cast and crew interviews and the worldwide premiere of Gammera the Invincible – the American version of the original 1965 film.

Physical extras include a hardback 120-page comic which includes a full-colour reprint of the four-issue 1996 Dark Horse comic book series, as well as as the first ever English language reprint of prequel comic The Last Hope by Matt Frank and Joshua Bugosh. There is also a perfect-bound 80-page book including a retrospective on the Gamera series, kaiju X-ray illustrations and much more!

Gamera: The Complete Collection will retail for $180 in the US and £149.99 in the UK. Early-bird preorders are available from Arrow and wherever you buy your blu-rays!
