Renegade Game Studio’s Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid tabletop game came out last month and after a successful launch they’re back at it again with another Kickstarter campaign.

We’ve known for some time now that a Power Rangers: Zeo expansion was planned thanks to a Backer’s Choice poll that was held some time ago. The Evil Robot Clone of Dino Thunder Black is present on the banner, suffice to say that an expansion based on the Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel anniversary episode: Dimensions in Danger is also quite possibly in the works.

Other details are unknown at this time, but we’ll be sure to update you once the Kickstarter goes live on September 17th 2019.

After some early teaser images, we finally have a close look at the next Kamen Rider to join Kamen Rider Zero-One!

This is Kamen Rider Thouser a gold & silver Rider armed with a new model Driver- the Zaia ThousanDriver! This new device is compatible with Progrise Keys but also functions with a newer Key model- referred to as Zetsumerize Keys. Kamen Rider Thouser uses 2 unique Keys to transform- the Amazing Caucasus Progrise Key & the Awakening Alcino Zetsumerise Key.

In addition, Kamen Rider Thouser has a unique weapon- the ThousandJacker, a powerful sword that can channel Key energy for final attacks.

A new DX weapon release has been teased for the current Super Sentai series Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger!

This new item is known as the RyuSoul Caliber: a sword-like weapon that comes with a new metallic version of the Red RyuSoul. Using the Caliber transforms RyuSoul Red into a new form, with revised armor and a cape.

A handful of new toy listings have recently surfaced for Kamen Rider Zero-One, hinting at some remarkable new additions for this new Rider series!

*The centerpiece of the listings is a new Kamen Rider- Kamen Rider Thouser! This is the SIXTH Rider confirmed for the Zero-One series to date.

*Kamen Rider Thouser uses a new Driver- the Zaia ThousanDriver! This new device also utilizes a unique style of Progrise Keys.

*Finally, Kamen Rider Thouser is armed with a unique sword weapon- called the Thousand Jacker!

Sadly, no other information on this new Kamen Rider is available at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Kamen Rider Zero-One reveals!

Our friends at MillCreekEnt just announced more Ultraman series Blu-Rays will be coming stateside following the release of Ultra Q, Ultraman, and Ultra Seven in the coming months.

Joining alongside the aforementioned Ultra series we have Blu-Ray sets for Ultraman Geed and Ultraman Orb! Both will be released sometime November 2019 and will contain movies for both series.

In addition, more upcoming releases for 2020 were announced. That roadmap is as follows:

Spring 2020:

  • Return of Ultraman
  • Ultraman R/B Series+Movies
  • Ultra Fight Orb
  • Ultraman Ace

Summer 2020:

  •  Ultraman Taro
  • Ultraman Leo 
  • Ultraman X Series+Movies
  • Ultraman Zero Series+Movies

 

No further release info was given at the time of this writing, and it is unclear which of the aforementioned series will be receiving Steelbooks if any but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as more info becomes available.

The original Magna Defender, was a fierce & noble warrior. But consumed by revenge over the loss of his son, the Defender resorted to vicious tactics to combat his enemies. In a bid to undo his terrible deeds & save the Terra-Venture colony, he sacrificed his own life, resurrecting Mike Corbett in the process. Brother to Leo Corbett the Red Galaxy Ranger, Mike’s body had been a vessel for the spirit of the Defender. Given a second chance, Mike is now worthy enough to inherit a hero’s legacy. Taking up the Magna Sword and commanding the Torrozord into battle, Mike becomes the next Magna Defender!

Of the various figures announced and released for the Lightning Collection line so far, the Magna Defender is by far one of my favorites. A solidly built and designed figure, the Defender feels right at home with any 6th rangers or extra heroes you have floating around in your collection. Fans of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy & Seijuu Sentai Gingaman will be incredibly pleased with how this surprisingly dynamic figure has turned out. Armed with the Magna Sword & Magna Blaster, the Magna Defender’s legacy is ready to live on!

Rejoice! A new age of Kamen Riders is upon us and the much anticipated Kamen Rider Zero-One’s finally made his debut today. The first episode can now be streamed on YouTube via TV Asahi’s YouTube channel surprisingly enough the episode wasn’t region-locked.

Of course, the episode isn’t subtitled and as of this article, it isn’t clear if the rest of the series will follow suit. Those eager to watch the episode can do so by making the jump here. And don’t forget to let us know what you thought about it in the disscussion thread afterward!

RISING HOPPER!

Kamen Rider Zero-One’s making his grand debut today ushering at the beginning of the Reiwa-Era Kamen Riders. To tie in with such a momentous occasion, a brand new batch of images for the latest roleplay toys coming out in Early October/Late September have just been released. Those products are as follows:

  • DX Hiden Rise Phone out sometime early October for 3200 yen.
  • DX Attach Shotgun out 2019/09/28 for 3800 yen
  • DX Punching Kong Progrise Key released 2019/09/21 for 1500 yen
  • DX Biting Shark Progrise Key Releasing 2019/9/14 for 1500 yen.
  • SG Progrise Key 01 containing Rising Hopper, Rushing Cheetah, and Shooting Wolf keys. These keys will play double duty: working in both the Driver and Ganbarising machines!

The Heisei era of Kamen Rider has come to a close, and site contributor My Shiny Toy Robots returns with a review of the time-travelling epic that sent it off – Kamen Rider Zi-O! From Kuuga to Build, the Heisei Riders have protected smiles and defended the world from evil. When high schooler Sougo Tokiwa is told that in the year 2068 he’ll be the ruthless overlord of time Ohma Zi-O, he starts on a journey through the history of the Riders and to prove his future isn’t predetermined.
