Posted on April 10, 2019 at 1:21 pm by Tony_Bacala under Ultraman

Our friends at Hobby Link Japan sent through information on 3 new Ultraman products hitting the Japanese market.  The high end collectibles will include Character Classics Ultraman Taro, Ultraman Tiga Art Master 3D, Ultra Q Decayed Garamon Art Master 3D.  Each of them are based on the classic series and are meant for the most die-hard Ultraman fans.  Read on to check out the details and info from HLJ!

80cm Tiga, Two More Breathtaking Ultraman Statues from GomoraKick

GomoraKick (Kaiyodo International) presents three premium, highly-detailed Ultraman statues for summer release: Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Taro, and Gamaron.

SANO, Japan — HobbyLink Japan, one of the largest and longest-operating international retailers of Japanese hobby products and toys, announced today the release of three premium statues for Ultraman fans, brought to life by master sculptors Takashi Kinoshita and Ryu Oyama. All three statues will be available outside of Japan this July from GomoraKick (Kaiyodo International), and are currently available for pre-order from HobbyLink Japan with no prepayment required.

Character Classics Ultraman Taro (¥34,800 JPY)
https://shop.hlj.com/2Kuf8X8

Based on the in-depth knowledge and research of Takashi Kinoshita, Ultraman Taro is recreated in impressive detail at 35cm tall. The mask has been crafted with the original mask used as reference, and the Color Timer has been reproduced in translucent material and reverse installed for an impeccable appearance. Includes a magnetic display stand.

  • 35cm tall
  • Completed cold-cast model
  • Display stand included (cold-cast, magnetic)
  • Sculpted by Takashi Kinoshita

Ultraman Tiga Art Master 3D (¥158,000 JPY)
https://shop.hlj.com/2KlGgYa

Created by Takashi Kinoshita, Ultraman Tiga features a realistic, screen-accurate costume created by 3D scanning the original vinyl kit, then enlarging and improving details into a stunning 80cm-tall statue. His eyes and Color Timer are LED-lit, and sound effects are built in, adding interactivity to aesthetic. A remote control for the LEDs and sound effect, as well as a display stand, are included.

  • 80cm tall
  • Dynamic fighting pose
  • LED-powered Color Timer and eyes
  • Sound effect model
  • Remote control (lights, sounds) included
  • Display stand included
  • Sculpted by Takashi Kinoshita

Ultra Q Decayed Garamon Art Master 3D (¥59,800 JPY)
https://shop.hlj.com/2Kjy8aq

Sculptor Ryu Oyama brings us the most detailed, delightfully grotesque version of Garamon yet. Garamon was crafted as a 14cm-tall clay model which was CT scanned to capture every layer and detail necessary to enlarge the final statue to a 20cm height. Made from blown poly-resin similar to plastic, this kaiju is made to be particular resistant to breakage and damage to protect each carefully-crafted thorn and edge.

  • 20cm tall
  • Blow-molded poly-resin
  • Sculpted by Ryu Oyama

Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger Q3 Catalog Images Released- Multiple New Kishiryu Revealed!

Posted on April 10, 2019 at 8:23 am by Paladin under Super Sentai

The first images from the next wave of Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger merchandise have hit the Internet, revealing some remarkable new entries for the Dino Knight Super Sentai!

Highlights from this new catalog include:

*The personal Kishiryu of the Sixth Ranger, RyuSoul Gold! This newcomer is a Mosasaurus-based figure called MosaRex! MosaRex can combine with the previously revealed DimeVolcano for a battle combination known as SpinoThunder.

*MosaRex also has a unique battle configuration- KishiRyu Neptune! This Mecha is armed with a pair of mini-drones known as AmmoKnuckles– which appear to be based on ammonites.
KishiRyu Neptune & KishiRyuOh can combine to form the strongest Dino Knight yet- Giganto KishiRyuOh!

But Gold’s Kishiryu aren’t the only newcomers this time around:

*A pair of Velociraptor-based Kishiryu will be introduced; they are known as ShineRaptor & ShadowRaptor with a combined form called CosmoRaptor. The Raptors can combine with KishiRyuOh to form new weapons & appear to grant a new battle armor form for RyuSoul Red as well.

*A Pachycephalosaurus styled Kishiryu rounds out the lineup, named Pachygaru. Combining with KishiRyuOh unlocks powerful punching attacks.

Last but certainly not least is the Movie-exclusive Mecha! This is a black and gold rerelease of Tyramigo with a new dragon motif- officially titled KishiRyuJin!

Definitely some exciting times ahead for Super Sentai fans! Stay tuned to TokuNation for all RyuSoulger reveals!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Red Ranger Gallery

Posted on April 4, 2019 at 6:21 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Unleash the Beast!”

Was it chance or fate that Devon Daniels just happened to sneak into Grid Battleforce headquarters on the day that the villainous Evox infiltrated it? Planning to turn the soon to be Power Rangers into his avatar puppets, Evox struck and succeeded with two potential heroes. But thanks to Devon, Ravi, & Zoey, Evox hasn’t won yet. To stop the avatars Blaze & Roxy the latest generation of teenagers with attitude harness the power of Morph X to become the Power Rangers!

The Beast Morphers toyline has officially kicked off in Canada and the US! Meaning collector’s all over are beginning to see these toys in the wild for the first time. Some of the first products being spotted at most retail stores are the 6″ Basic Figure Wave 1 assortment. The Red Ranger from this assortment kicks the line off really nicely and sets the bar a lot higher than any ranger figure’s from Bandai America ever did at this price point. The new 6″ scale is a welcome change to most, there’s better articulation than what we used to get, no more steroid muscle proportions and these figure’s actually come with multiple accessories! Like the Beast X Saber, Cheetah Beast Blaster, and a Morph X Key!

We’ve assembled over 65 images of the 6″ Basic Red Ranger in this gallery. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to our full review thread. Our next Beast Morphers gallery will feature none other than Cyber Villain Blaze!

Power Rangers Battle For the Grid Free Character DLC Announced

Posted on April 3, 2019 at 4:18 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, Power Rangers Movie

After some hiccups with the launch of the game, Battle for the Grid appears to be moving along smoothly once again. nWay has just announced via the official @Battle4TheGrid twitter account that a new set of 3 rangers will be added to the game in the near future as FREE DLC!

The DLC includes Dragon Armor Trini from the Boom! Studios comics, Udonna the White Mystic Ranger of Power Rangers Mystic Force, and the original Cenozoic Blue Ranger of the 2017 Power Rangers movie! While there’s no specific date given for the release of this DLC, the Battle for the Grid teams wants players to know that this is only Update 1 for the game. More is on the way, and these characters are not the season 1 DLC pass characters previously mentioned.

We’ll update this story as soon as more confirmed release details are made available for this DLC pack.
