LET’S MORPHIN!

Ever since the first Power Rangers Beast Morphers trailer aired, fans have been clamoring for more and a new trailer finally made it’s debut on T.V today.

The following video was found on Instagram by user Kevstar92. While the recording isn’t the best quality, we can see lots of original new footage including our first look at the team’s morphing sequence.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will be airing on March 2nd, 2019 on Nickelodeon in the meantime, you can check out the trailer by making the jump here.

FUTURE TIME!

It wasn’t that long ago that Bandai unveiled S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Woz in all of his glory, and that he’d be released at mass retail. It hasn’t even been a day yet, and already Bandai’s Tamashii pick up page was updated with new photos of this future Rider.

Woz’s signature Zikan Despear weapon will be included, in the Figureoh scan, it showed that it will include parts to create its other modes. It doesn’t appear that his Ride Watches are detailed, a trend which sadly started with Zi-O and Geiz and themselves.

None of the less, S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Woz will be released July 2019 for 5940 yen.

Or will Kamen Rider Geiz, the Time Jackers, Kamen Rider Woz, or even Kamen Rider Decade, manage to contain his power? Time, will tell…

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O kicks off this year’s new Figuarts sub-line as a pretty solid release. While assuredly many will take issue with this figure’s lack of accessories (which are included with the Ride Striker) this figure has a lot to offer and lots of personality. Zi-O is a well rounded, well articulated figure that fits in fantastically with mainline figuarts as well Shinkocchou Seihou releases. Though Seihou Kamen Rider Kiva still hasn’t been released, seeing Zi-O with his fellow lead riders is still quite the sight. And if you happen to have a DX Time Mazine as I do, you’ll find that Figuarts Zi-O works quite well with him. Zi-O also compliments Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Decade marvelously.

“Woz! WOZ!”

It’s that time of the month and Figure Oh scans are making their way out into the wild. This month, thanks to twitter user @Tesuka_ we have our very first look at S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Woz!

In a rather surprising turn of events it would appear that Kamen Rider Woz is a retail release. This means that all 3 main riders from Zi-O will be non-exclusive releases. This stands in contrast to last season, as Kamen Rider Build himself was a retail release while Cross-Z, Grease, and Rogue all wound up as exclusives. So Zi-O is taking a play out of Ex-Aids book by making the primary 3 retail releases at least.

Woz is headed to collectors in July 2019 for 5940 yen. Keep an eye out for a full set of official images as well as pre-orders in the near future.

LEVEL UP!

The next SH Figuart release from fan-favorite series Kamen Rider Ex-Aid has been revealed!

This time, the Bike Gamer Kamen Rider Lazer gets a proper release using his original combat form- LVL 3, thanks to the power of GiriGiri Chanbara Gashat! Lazer is armed with Chanbara’s signature weapon, the Gashacon Sparrow.

Lazer LVL3 is a Premium Bandai exclusive, currently scheduled for release in July 2019! The price is a very modest 6480 Yen before shipping and fees.

The record label Nippon Columbia has officially released a streaming version of the opening theme for upcoming 43rd Super Sentai series, Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger!

The song, titled Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger is performed by musician Tomohiro Hatano– a tokustatsu music veteran who previously performed the theme song to Uchu Sentai KyuRanger.

Music fans can pick up the home media version on March 20 2019– and two release options have been announced. First is the typical Regular Edition for Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger and next is the Limited Edition, a special release that also contains the theme song from the current mini-series, Super Sentai Strongest Battle.

“Hell Bros. At your service.”

The orphans Fu & Rai Washio were indoctrinated by Juzoburo Nanba, and raised to be weapons for the 3-sided war for the nation. Making use of the Nebula Steam Gun, the Washio brothers became Engine Bros & Remocon Bros! However, faced with the continued evolution of the Kamen Riders that threaten their master’s will, Fu Washio plays his trump card. Uniting the power of the Engine & Remocon Gears, Fu becomes Hell Bros!

S.H. Figuarts Hell Bros is another very familiar release for Build collectors. Using the iconic Night Rogue/Blood Stalk body for a base, Hell Bros builds on this with the gear theme inherited from the Bi-Kaisers. A gorgeous two-tone villain Hell Bros is armed with the versatile transforming Nebula Steam Gun system. If you have any experience with Rogue & Stalk, then you know this will be another great addition to your collection.

We’re still a month and a bit away from the premiere of the much anticipated Kishiryu Sentai Ryousoulger. In the meantime, a new promotional video went live on Bandai’s official YouTube channel.

In this promotional video, we get a demonstration of the Ryusoulger’s powers from RyuSoul Blue, RyuSoul Pink, and RyuSoul Red along with new scenes from the series.  This video gives us a good idea of how their personalities will be, so be sure to check it out in the link below:

Toy Fair wasn’t the only place for exciting new toy reveals this weekend! When Kamen Rider Zi-O first started, a lot of fans have been clamoring for toys based on the Another Rider designs but now it looks like Bandai will be granting us that wish!

Zi-O Watcher was recently updated with a new Youtube video teaser for the line, and in that teaser, at about the eight-second mark prototypes for the Another Riders were shown.

The first four appear to be Another Build, Another Ex-Aid, Another Faiz, and Another Gaim. It’s unclear if these will be released in a box or mixed in future waves of SODO Zi-O.

In addition to the Another Riders, Zi-O Watcher released a plethora of new images featuring the Demon King of 2068 himself: Oma Zi-O! Oma Zi-O will be included in Ride7 of SODO Zi-O which will be hitting shelves in March.

The next saga in the Power Rangers comic series by Boom! Studios was announced at today’s ToyFair reveal panel!

Upon issue #40 of the current Mighty Morphin Power Rangers run, we will begin a new story with the White Ranger making his first appearance as the leader of the Boom! Power Rangers. This arc, known as NECESSARY EVIL deals with the fallout of the Shattered Grid events.

The creative team on the Necessary Evil story will consist of writer Ryan Parrot and artist Daniele DiNiculo– both veterans of Boom! Power Rangers comics.

Necessary Evil will officially begin in June 2019! Stay tuned to TokuNation for all Boom! Comics detals.
