New images from the latest Kamen Rider Zi-O merchandise catalog have been posted online, revealing several details about the further adventures of this anniversary series!

*Kamen Rider Zi-O upgrades to a new form- Kamen Rider Zi-O II! This new configuration splits Zi-O’s suit-literally doubling the watch decals on the chest and helmet.

*Not to be outdone, Kamen Rider Geiz uses a new hourglass-based RideWatch to become Kamen Rider Geiz Revive! The Revive form has multiple configurations- closed armor for defensive combat and open armor for heavy attacks.

But the biggest reveal in this new catalog is the THIRD Kamen Rider joining the adventure! This is our first look at Kamen Rider Woz! The green Rider from Year 2068 uses a new device known as the BeyonDriver along with his unique brand of RideWatchs- the MiraiWatch!

While Zi-O & Geiz channel the powers of past Kamen Riders, Kamen Rider Woz is able to channel the powers of FUTURE Kamen Riders! Three brand-new Riders are shown in Woz’s arsenal- Kamen Rider Shinobi, Kamen Rider Quiz & Kamen Rider Kikai. Using the MiraiWatches from each, Kamen Rider Woz can activate his Futuring Forms.

Renowned anime streaming service CrunchyRoll has announced they will be offering the new Studio Trigger series SSSS Gridman!

This project is based on cult classic tokusatsu series Denkou Chojin Gridman! A brief synopsis for this new anime project has also been provided:

Yuta Hibiki can’t remember who he is, and now he’s seeing and hearing things that others don’t! A voice from an old computer tells him to remember his calling, and he sees a massive, unmoving creature in the distance. Nothing’s making sense—until the behemoth springs to life! Suddenly, Yuta is pulled into the digital world, reappearing in the real one as the colossal hero—Gridman!

Exact release details have not been confirmed at time of writing, but SSSS Gridman is currently scheduled to begin October 7 2018! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this exciting project!

“We need Megazord power, NOW!”

SDCC had some powerful exclusives for Power Rangers collector’s this year. Exclusives that are now making the rounds at a number of North American conventions such as Fan Expo Canada and New York Comic Con. Today, we’re taking a look at by far the most spectacular of these exclusives with the SOC Soul of Chogokin GX-72B Black Megazord! 

The Black Megazord/Daizyujin is an elaborate repaint of the original SOC release, primarily in black, with a plethora of gorgeous gold trim, green accents, and silver chrome. This color scheme is directly inspired by and meant to compliment the Soul of Chogokin Dragonzord/Dragon Caesar, which is a bit of a different take on the black repaint tradition than we usually get for MMPR or Zyuranger. Each of the Zords functions identically to the first release, but they look so spectacular in these new colors. We’ve included a number of comparison shots with the first release, with some fun mix & match possibilities as well.

In the upcoming Kamen Rider Build New World: Kamen Rider Cross-Z V-Cinema special, Kamen Rider Cross-Z acquires a new power. Using the Muscle Galaxy Full Bottle, Ryuga Banjo becomes Kamen Rider Cross-Z Evol, and we now have our first look at this magnificent form in all of its glory.

In addition to Cross-Z Evol, a spider-themed character named Killbus was also revealed and will serve as the film’s main antagonist.

A limited theatrical release of the film will begin early 2019 while the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack will be released in April and will include the DX Muscle Galaxy Full Bottle.

The much teased about Super Minipla Galaxy Mega and Delta Mega is finally getting ready for production and thanks to that: new stock photos for the pair have finally come out, giving us a good look at not only the two in space-ship mode but also the combined Super Galaxy Mega form.

At the time of this writing, the release info for the two isn’t really clear. The pair were exhibited at the All Japan Model and Hobby Show which took place during the weekend. From there, the placard on display suggests that they will see release in January 2019 for 3,200 yen though whether this is for the two of them together or for them individually remains to be seen.

Bandai Tamashii has revealed the next entries in the fan-favorite SH Figuarts series!

The newest Kamen Rider heroes- Kamen Rider Zi-O & Kamen Rider Geiz will be joining the lineup of Rider Figuarts, and both have been recreated in exquisite detail.

A short video preview has been posted online showing off the new Heroes of Time-

Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O will be released in February 2019 for the modest price of 3000 Yen. Meanwhile, Figuarts Kamen Rider Geiz is scheduled for release in March 2019 and priced at 5400 Yen.

In case you missed it, Kamen Rider Zi-O Climax Scramble is going to be the first Kamen Rider video game for the Nintendo Switch console our first trailer for the game is finally here!

The game appears to be largely the same as last year’s Climax Fighters, with the only difference being the addition of Zi-O himself along with some new forms for Build, those hoping for a new experience may be disappointed while those that have yet to play Climax Fighters maybe want to check this one out!

Kamen Rider Zi-O: Climax Scramble will be out November 29th 2018. Both a standard version and Limited edition will be available. The Limited Edition version of the game will include a DX Zi-O Ride Watch, a Zi-O and Geiz rubber strap, and bath sheets.

A plethora of new magazine scans detailing the upcoming adventures of Kamen Rider Zi-O have been posted online! These scans give us some very detailed information about the next adventures of this time-traveling Rider.

*The next stop on Zi-O’s tour is to the year 2011 and the world of Kamen Rider Fourze! WIth Fourze’s RideWatch Zi-O will gain the power of COSMIC ENERGY to activate the Kamen Rider Fourze RideArmor!This new Armor utilizes Fourze’s legendary Rocket Punch ability & can also transform into a Rocket Mode for direct attacks.

*Zi-O is also shown obtaining the Kamen Rider OOO RideArmor! This new form based on OOO’s TaToBa combo channels all 3 animal abilities for combat.

*Not to be outdone, Kamen Rider Geiz will pick up a unique souvenir from the year 2003- the Kamen Rider Faiz RideWatch, activating Kamen Rider Faiz RideArmor! This configuration gives Geiz several of Faiz’ own weapons, including the Faiz Shot & Faiz Pointer.

*Perhaps the most powerful RideArmor yet comes from God Dan Kuroto– when Kamen Rider Geiz obtains the Kamen Rider Genm RideWatch to trigger Genm RideArmor!

*The last confirmed stop on the Riders’ tour at the moment is to year 2012 and the world of Kamen Rider Wizard! To obtain this Riders’ magic powers, the time-travelers must work with Kosuke Nito– better known as Kamen Rider Beast! Actor Tasuku Nagase will reprise his role as the mayonnaise-loving archeologist once again. Once the Wizard RideWatch is obtained, Kamen Rider Geiz will activate Kamen Rider Wizard RideArmor and be able to control magic itself!

While it might not be the holiday season as of yet, Bandai is making things a little bit festive with a Kamen Rider Zi-O Themed Christmas Cake and X-Mas Ride Watch, and the pre-orders are set to begin soon. 

Pre-Orders for this festive package will begin on September 26th, 2018 and will run until November 23rd the final package will ship out sometime in December for 4,104 yen 

While international shipping laws will sadly prevent the cake itself from leaving Japan, collectors will still be able to enjoy the included X-Mas Ride Watch, and Kamen Rider Zi-O themed cake toppers.

After several delays and much speculation, the hardcover collection Power Rangers: The Ultimate Visual History is at last coming to stores!

Written by Ramin Zahad & Jody Revenson (with a forward by original Pink Ranger Amy Jo Johnson) explores the extensive history of the Power Rangers franchise- examining every season from Mighty Morphin to Ninja Steel. The book will feature extensive behind-the-scenes production details for the Power Rangers franchise, and include multiple interviews with those responsible for this cultural phenomenon.

A handful of preview pages have been released so fans can get a good idea of just what this special volume contains.

Power Rangers: The Ultimate Visual History is currently scheduled for release on November 6 2018! The price is a very modest $50 USD– although currently Amazon.com is offering preorders at a reduced price of $31.45 USD! Definitely a good bargain for Power Rangers fans!
