A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Super Sentai reunion film for Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

The new project, 10 Gokaiger features a new event called the Super Sentai Derby Colosseum which features a competition between all the Super Sentai- except one. The Gokaiger team has gone their separate ways until Captain Marvelous appears on Earth once again to issue a Colosseum challenge.

All six members of the Gokaiger team will return for this special, along with series writer Naruhisa Arakawa. Rounding out the reunion will be the original suit actors for the Gokaiger team.

10 Gokaiger is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on November 11 2021 with a DVD & BluRay release scheduled for March 9 2022!

We’re at New York Comic Con 2021!  Earlier this year, Tamashii Nations announced a brand new line in their S.H. Figuarts line of products – the Tech-On Avengers!  These high-tech Marvel superheroes are inspired by tokusatsu (so Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc.).

We’re at this year’s New York Comic Con!  The convention scene is back, although a bit muted with the United States just coming down from a pandemic-high late summer/early fall.  Because of such, vendors didn’t bring their A game (and some didn’t bring a game at all).

Diamond Select Toys has their upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legends Red Ranger NYCC Exclusive Bust on display.  We took a couple of images and you can see them in the story.

The Wal-Mart exclusive Power Rangers Retro line is getting some new additions!  Revealed today via HasbroPulse, we have our first look at:

  • 7 inch MMPR Dino Megazord Figure
  • 7 inch MMPR Thunder Megazord Figure
  • 7 inch Lost Galaxy Megazord Figure
  • 7 inch Ninja Storm Ninjakon Figure

These figures feature limited articulation and are 7 inches in height.  They are being packaged in exclusive VHS-style packaging to harken back to the days of VHS … if you don’t know what that is then it’s time for me to retire.

After being discovered in a store listing back in July, we have our first look at the upcoming Power Rangers Lightning Collection In Space Silver Ranger figure.

The figure includes his signature Silverizer weapon in both sword and gun modes as well as a very 90’s Zhane civilian head.  The paint on the figure looks to be a glossy silver which will make any and all Silver Ranger fans, of any series, incredibly excited for future Silver Ranger releases.

No release details are available at this time as Hasbro has yet to officially announce this figure.

The next entry in the Shodo SUPER toy series has just been announced!

Beloved fan favorite Kyoryu Sentai ZyuRanger (also known as the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) will be the next Super Sentai in this minipla series!

All six ZyuRangers will be recreated in exquisite detail and with all essential weapons.

The Shodo SUPER ZyuRanger set will cost 9900 Yen before shipping & handling! Orders will open in October 2021!

Toei has announced the first cast members for the upcoming Shin Kamen Rider movie project directed by Hideaki Anno!

Taking up the iconic role of Takeshi Shudo & the new Shin Kamen Rider is actor Sosuke Ikematsu a young man with an extensive resume in television and film. Joining the project as Kamen Rider ally Ruriko Midorikawa is Minami Hamabe, another industry veteran.

A teaser trailer for the upcoming project was released during a press conference in Japan. The new trailer perfectly recreates the original 1973 Kamen Rider opening:

Shin Kamen Rider is tentatively scheduled for release in March 2023!

Hasbro has announced two more figures for the fan-favorite Power Rangers Lightning Collection action figure series!

Continuing the iconic Mighty Morphin Ninja Ranger lineup is Ninja Pink Ranger & Ninja White Ranger! Each figure comes with alternate heads and an assortment of effect parts.

Both Ninja Pink & Ninja White will be exclusive to TARGET stores! Release is currently scheduled for April 2022.
