Some exciting news for fans of Kamen Rider and comics!

Publisher StoneBot Comics has obtained the license to translate & release the Kamen Rider Kuuga manga- a retelling of the iconic Kamen Rider series.

But that’s not all! StoneBot Comics has also revealed they will be producing some ORIGINAL content for Kamen Rider Zero-One– starting with a 4-issue mini series and a number of one-shot issues exploring the Zero-One universe.

Both StoneBot Kamen Rider projects are tentatively scheduled for release in 2022. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this new chapter in Kamen Rider adaptation history!

The first apparent glimpse at the 46th Super Sentai series Avataro Sentai DonBrothers has been found online!

This silhouette shows an armored figure similar to Zenkaiser of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger with an interesting head decoration.

A full reveal of Avataro Sentai DonBrothers is expected by the end of December 2021. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting new chapter in Super Sentai history!

At last we have some official images of the next Shodo SUPER release, based on the 35th Super Sentai series Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

The Gokaiger team is recreated in perfect detail, with all six Gokaigers including their signature weapons- the Gokai Galleon Buster and Gokai Silvers’ Gold Mode.

AND, as a surprise bonus this Shodo set will include some NEW weapons for the Gokaigers! First introduced in the recent 10 Gokaiger reunion film, the Gokaigers activate Cross Armor– featuring new leg cannons for Gokai Yellow & Gokai Pink, a giant five-point sword for Gokai Blue, a massive cannon for Gokai Green & heavy armor for Gokai Red. Gokai Red can also use all five new armaments at once for Full Cross Armor configuration.

This Shodo SUPER entry will be released in two parts:

*Set 1 containing the core 5 Gokaigers will come out in July 2022 priced at 8250 Yen
*Set 2 containing GokaiSilver & the Cross Armor is scheduled for August 2022 with a price of 5500 Yen.

Toei has released the first trailer for the upcoming Kamen Rider crossover project, Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations!

The story of this new film begins in the year 2071 when a mysterious figure named Kamen Rider Century sets out on a journey to discover why the Kamen Riders fight. Along the way Kamen Rider Century will encounter the Swordsman of Kamen Rider Saber and the demons of Kamen Rider Revice.

Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations will be released on December 17 2021!

The Tamashii Nations hype train continues, with Bandai slithering in another addition to the fantastic Kamen Rider OOO lineup of S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou releases will be none other than  S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider OOO Burakawani Combo!

No release date was given for Burkawani, though in the meantime, you can check out the Tamashii Nations Presents Super Tokusatsu Time presentation video for a full rundown of the reveals from the event below:

Bandai Japan has released the first prototype images for the upcoming Kamen Rider remake project Kamen Rider Black Sun!

The new Rider design will receive a release in the SH Figuarts line, with this early production image giving us an even better look at the Black Sun suit.

In addition, the Black Sun henshin belt (official name to be determined) will also be included in the Complete Selection Modification series.

Sadly, price & release details for both items have not been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further updates on this new chapter in Kamen Rider history!

Toei has released the first official image of the upcoming Kamen Rider Black revamp project- titled Kamen Rider Black Sun!

Black Sun is a heavily-stylized take on the original Kamen Rider Black design, this new version still includes the signature Battle Hopper motorcycle.

This new project will be written by Izumi Takahashi and directed by industry veteran Kazuya Shiraishi. Actor Hidetoshi Nishijima will take on the title role, while Tomoya Nakamura will portray the iconic villain ShadowMoon.

Kamen Rider Black Sun is expected to hit theaters in 2022!

With Tamashii Nations 2021 underway we now have a plethora of new Kamen Rider entries in the SH Figuarts toyline!

Leading things off of course is the latest series- Kamen Rider Revice! SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Revi & Kamen Rider Vice are perfect recreations of their on-screen appearance.

From past years, the Kamen Rider Saber Figuarts lineup expands with Kamen Rider Sabela & Kamen Rider Durendal!

Kamen Rider Zero-One has some new entries as well, including Kamen Rider Zero-Two and Kamen Rider Vulcan LoneWolf.

A number of Shinkocchou Seihou items from the Heisei Era are on display, including:


*Kamen Rider Zeronos Zero Form
*Deneb
*Kamen Rider Saga
*Kamen Rider Decade Complete Form 21

And not to be outdone, the Showa Era of Kamen Rider will also receive several Seihou updates-

After seven years the heroes of Super Sentai make their triumphant return to SH Figuarts!

Official images of SH Figuarts Zenkaiser have now been released at this years’ Tamashii Nations event, showing the leader of the 45th Super Sentai Series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger recreated in exquisite detail. This new release is scheduled for May 2022 with a modest pricetag of 6600 Yen.

But that’s not all!

It appears the Shinkocchou Seihou process with also come to the Super Sentai lineup, with the first choice being none other than Kaizoku Sentai Gokaigers’ GokaiRed! Unfortunately, no other release details for this Marvelous update have been confirmed at time of writing.

Bandai Japan is currently running a SPECIAL ONLINE SURVEY asking fans what they would like to see in the Super Sentai SH Figuarts lineup. Only time will tell what develops from this so be sure to stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

It’s that time of year again! Tamashii Nations 2021 is underway and as usual there are plenty of brand new figure reveals for collectors all over the world to get excited about. Futhermore we finally have a release date confirmed for S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ribut! The Galaxy Rescue Force agent will be arriving as a retail release in April 2022, priced 6050 yen. Preorders for the figure will open on the 22nd November.
