You now have zero excuses not to watch Garo.

To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the original broadcast of Garo, the Tohokushina Film Corporation has released the remastered version of the series with English subtitles on YouTube with no restrictions – meaning anyone in the world can watch Garo!  On top of that there is now an English, Thai, and Chinese language version of the Garo-Project website.

Currently only the first two episodes are available but we imagine the rest will be released over the course of the next month.

New solicitations have been released from our friends at BOOM! Studios, among them, is an all-new comic one-shot focusing on the Princess of Darkness, Astronema herself!

Titled Power Rangers: Unlimited Heir to Darkness, the book will cover Astronema’s untold origins, the events from this book will tie directly into Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers books themselves.

Power Rangers Unlimited: Heir To The Darkness will be available on March 31st, 2021.

A new challenger has appeared in the world of Kamen Rider Saber and our latest round of Magazine scans showcases a brand new Rider that will be entering the fray: say hello to Saikou, the Swordsman of Light!

The main gimmick with Kamen Rider Saikou is that the sword itself is sentient. The suit is just a shadow, conjured up for the purposes of wielding the sword itself while in battle but can be wielded by other Riders as demonstrated by Saber in the magazine scans. Further details pending, but we’ll be sure to notify you once any more updates become available.

Details for the latest Super Sentai series: Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger are beginning to trickle in and after several leaks, we finally have our first set of magazine scans making the rounds online. These latest scans give us another look at the Kikanoid suits in more detail; each Kikanoid will have his/her own personal sidearm inspired by the mecha that they are based on.

 

In addition, the magazine scan gives us a look at the GearTlinger, the personal sidearm of Zenkaiser, and how the Gears will interact with it. Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger is scheduled to air on March 7th, 2021, there’s still much we don’t know about this exciting addition to the Super Sentai family so be sure to check back with us at TokuNation, and we’ll be sure to update you with more info becomes available.

Continually hunted by 4C, Haruka Mizusawa stumbles onto the darkest secret yet in the history of the Amazon Cells. In a quiet mountain village children are cared for until they can find new homes. At least, that’s the cover story. In reality this is a farm for growing meat. Young Amazons are grown and sold to wealthy humans as livestock, eaten as a delicacy. Darker still, these children are bred from the blood of Jin Takayama, miraculously still alive. This horrific new iteration of the Sigma Project brings Amazon Alpha & Amazon Omega together for their final climactic battle. The Final Judgement is here.

It’s been a long time coming for me to review this set. Having collected every other release from Kamen Rider Amazons, I simply couldn’t pass up on this one any longer. Based on the Amazons film The Last Judgement, this set recreates Kamen Rider’s Amazon Alpha & Amazon Omega in their final blood splattered appearances. Remolded and repainted with copious battle damage, these two look live they’ve been through hell, and they really have. While they may seem like superfluous releases to many, they’re absolutely necessary to me. We are growing ever closer to the official reveal of the 45th Super Sentai series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and a plethora of new information about this new series has just been released online!

Thanks to LinkedToku on social media we have learned the following details-

Zenkaigers’ story begins with a pair of scientists that discovered parallel worlds & could concentrate the powers of these worlds into small devices called Gears. In the process they discovered a world of mechanical lifeforms known as Kikanoids– normally a peaceful people but now their world has been conquered by the Evil Dynasty Tojitendo that seeks to eliminate all other worlds.

The scientists’ son, a young man named Kaito (described as an adventurous friendly man with no sense of personal space) takes up the power of the Gears with another device- the GearTlinger to transform into a new Super Sentai hero- ZenKaiser!

Four of the Kikanoids are able to join Kaito-

*Zyuran– the senior member of the team, who thinks he is calm and relaxed but is in practice a stubborn old man. With the power of the Gears he takes on the combat form ZenkaiZyuran!
*Gaon– a peaceful airhead with a love of cooking, who becomes ZenkaiGaon for fights.
*Vroom– the educated team member with a love for schooling; his battle form is ZenkaiVroom.
*Magine– a shy otaku obsessed with the occult who can transform into ZenkaiMagine when needed.

The Zenkaigers will be aided in their missions by Secchan– a strange talking mechanical bird created by Kaito’s parents.

In addition to changing between humanoid-robo and Zenkaiger forms, the Kikanoids are also able to transform into Mechas! The artwork gives us some ideas of the combinations- a type of SYMMETRICAL DOCKING where one Zenkai Robo forms half the combination.

Clever & brave, Zack was gifted the powers of the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger & the powerful Mastodon Dinozord! Protecting Earth from the likes of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, Zack was the first in a long line of Black Powers Rangers and powerful black heroes.

Finally rounding out the core team of the original 5 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger brings us around to our 2nd release for Zack Taylor in the line. First released in his Dragon Shield form, this standard variant gives us  many of the same accessories. The Power Axe is a straight repack and the effect for it cast in new colors, we get a pair of hands, the Blade Blaster gun mode as well as a brand new sculpt for the sword/blade mode, and we get an all new unmasked headsculpt based on the likeness of Zack’s actor Walter Jones! That’s more than enough variety to warrant purchasing this character again in my opinion.

The official TV-Asahi page for the 45th Super Sentai series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger has officially gone public offering fans some key details on this upcoming project!

Zenkaiger’s head writer will be Junko Komura whose resume includes Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger & Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. Long-time Sentai veteran Shojiro Nakazawa will serve as the series’ director, while veteran suit actor Hirofumi Fukuzawa will take up the role of action director once again. The series will be produced by Shinichiro Shirakura, previously known for several Kamen Rider shows.

The story of Zenkaiger will feature the hero ZenKaiser and his four robot followers uniting against a foe determined to erase all parallel worlds. The unique Sentai Gear will concentrate the powers of past Sentai to aid in combat and further transformations.

An official cast reveal for Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger is currently scheduled for January 15 2021! The series itself will begin on March 7 2021!

Toei has announced two new Kamen Rider projects for the Japanese streaming services TELASA & Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club– featuring the King of Time Kamen Rider Zi-O and the Destroyer of Worlds, Kamen Rider Decade!

The new specials are officially titled-
*Rider Time- Kamen Rider Zi-O VS Kamen Rider Decade: The Seven Zi-Os
*Rider Time- Kamen Rider Decade VS Kamen Rider Zi-O: The Decade House Death Game

Actors So Okuno and Masahiro Inoue will reprise their iconic roles of Kamen Rider Zi-O & Kamen Rider Decade respectively. Legendary tokusatsu writer Toshiki Inoue will develop the script while Kamen Rider veteran Satoshi Morota will serve as director.

Both new Rider Time specials are scheduled for release on February 9 2021.
