Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast Jet & Beast Wrecker Zords Revealed

Posted on June 5, 2019 at 9:45 am by Den-O under Power Rangers

Thanks to a pair of new listings posted on Toywiz we have our first looks at two as of yet unannounced new items for Power Rangers Beast Morphers. Both Zords are of the “Converting” variety. So these are the combining zords meant to go along with the upcoming Beast-X Megazord components!

First up we have the Silver Ranger’s Beast Jet Zord! Luckily for this one, Toywiz does have an official description:“Imagine calling on the power of the Beast Jet Converting Zord and battling the Power Rangers’ toughest foes. Convert from robotic Scarab Mode, ready for a fight, to Jet Mode, ready to fly to the next place Zord power is needed. And, combined with Beast Racer Converting Zord, Beast Wheeler Converting Zord, Beast Wrecker Converting Zord and Beast Chopper Converting Zord (Each sold separately. Subject to availability.), kids can assemble the Beast- X Ultrazord to imagine taking on even more powerful foes. Go Go Power Rangers!” The listed price via Toywiz is $29.99and the figure is expected to ship in September.

Next, we have the Gold Ranger’s Beast Wrecker Zord! While the Toywiz listing doesn’t have an official description yet, it’s apparent what we’re getting from this release. This Beetle Based zord converts from insect to mechanical crane truck mode and can also combine with the Beast Wrecker or be used with the other 4 Zords to create the Beast-X Ultrazord! This Zord is also listed at $29.99 with a September release.

When a proper description arrives for the Beast Wrecker Zord we’ll be sure to update this story. Hopefully the reveal of these two zords also means that official images of the Beast-X Ultrazord won’t be far behind either.

Our good friend @MisturYellow on twitter originally discovered these listings.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Cybervillain Blaze Gallery

Posted on May 28, 2019 at 11:19 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“How about another karate lesson, Devon?”

With the raw power of the Morphin’ Grid tapped, Grid Battleforce seeks to create a new generation of Power Rangers! 3 Recruits are chosen and their leader, their red ranger, will be none other than Blaze. Or he would have been. Thanks to the viral villain Evox, the Morph is hijacked and ranger recruits Roxy & Blaze become something far more sinister. Their bodies left in comas and their mind’s copied, these dark reflections of their true selves are loyal only to Evox, given the ability to morph into their own dark ranger Avatars….

Cybervillain Blaze joins the ever growing line up of the Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Line. Another real winner from Wave 1, Blaze gives your Red Ranger a rival at last, though Roxy is hitting store shelves currently as well. Blaze shares many of his design cues with the Basic Tronic, like the hip design, but this radically evil ranger has a presence all his own. Armed with his own Blaze Saber, Blaze Beast Blaster, and Blaze Morph X Key, this figure should be a welcome addition to any Beast Morphers (Or Go-Busters!) collection.

See our full 40 image gallery as well as full review of 6″ Basic Cybervillain Blaze after the jump. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the full thread. In our next trip to the Morphin’ Grid, we find out what a certain old Emperor of Evil has been up to with Hasbro’s Lightning Collection line…

Beast Morphers: 6″ Silver Ranger, Red Fury Red Ranger, & more Revealed

Posted on May 23, 2019 at 3:13 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

“Unleash the beast!”

Thanks to Twitter user @Martian_Ranger new press images are now circulating for 3 new Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic figures!

– 6″ Basic Silver Ranger
– 6″ Basic Red Ranger (Red Fury Mode)
– 6″ Basic Drilltron

This figure for Red Fury Mode provides our first official look at the power up for this season’s Red Ranger. We saw some filming images of this power up a few months back, but had no confirmation of it’s name or anything else about it before now. though it definitely takes inspiration from Red Buster’s Power Custom mode, this is an entirely new design. Likewise this is our first look at any figure for the Silver Ranger in this series’ toyline. Rounding out the trio is another really fantastic looking villain figure, Drilltron!

On top of this new, Martian Ranger has also discovered press photos for the upcoming Electronic Beast-X Ultrazord as well as the roleplay weapon for the Red Ranger’s Red Fury Mode, the Electronic Cheetah Claw!

Pricing and release windows for these new additions have not been made public as of yet, but we’ll keep you informed when they do.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster Gallery

Posted on May 16, 2019 at 2:08 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Racer Zord, Cheetah Strike!”

When it’s time to take on a Gigantronic with the Beast Racer Zord, there’s one mighty weapon that’s sure to do the trick. To destroy these viral villains the Red Ranger can call on the Cheetah Beast Blaster for one powerful attack! And now thanks to Hasbro you can call on the power of this mighty blaster to take on your friends with the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster!

Roleplay toys are the bread and butter of just about any modern toyline, and Power Rangers Beast Morphers is no stranger to that either. Whether it’s the Morph-X keys included with 6″ figures, the Beast-X Morpher itself, or the very NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster we’re looking at today. This is a wonderful and pretty nicely scaled roleplay blaster with powerful dart firing action and cheetah to blaster mode transformation! I’d also like to mention that this item was provided to us for FREE, direct from Hasbro. It was sent our way as a part of their generous Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer.

We’ve attached the full gallery to this post but you can also read through our full review of the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time we visit Beast Morphers, we’re taking a walk on the dark side with 6″ Basic Cybervillain Blaze!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers 6″ Basic Tronic Gallery

Posted on May 3, 2019 at 4:16 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

To dominate the Morphin Grid & the real world, the sinister virus Evox has demanded the servitude of Scrozzle and his army of Tronic soldiers! Cold, lifeless machines, the Tronic’s battle the Power Rangers of Coral Harbor at every turn. While they aren’t as powerful as Robotron’s, their sheer numbers can make things difficult for our heroes.  Thankfully for collectors, you can build your own army of the mechanical monsters with the 6″ Basic Tronic Figure!

The 6″ Tronic is the first troop builder villain from Hasbro and luckily has been hitting retail in decent numbers allowing many collectors to get as many as they need. Fortunately for us, Hasbro was kind enough to provide us with one for free as part of their Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer. With much of the same standard articulation as the 3 rangers released so far, the Tronic is another great basic figure to add to your collection. Armed with two Tronic Blasters and a Tronic Morph X Key this figure will antagonize your Rangers or compliment your Blaze quite well.

We’ve attached the full 40 image gallery to this post but you can also check out our full review by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back next week with a gallery of the NERF Cheetah Beast Blaster!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast Racer Zord Action Figure Gallery

Posted on April 28, 2019 at 12:45 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Okay Cruise, let’s do this!”

Last week, we here at TokuNation received a rather generous gift. The good people at Hasbro sent out a pretty huge and impressive Product Review Mailer containing the entire first wave of Power Rangers Beast Morphers product! A number of fan sites and toy reviewers received them and we were lucky enough to receive one of these free mailers ourselves. While we plan to review all the products it contained, we wanted to kick things off with a review of the big bot in the box. The Beast Racer Zord Action Figure!

If you’re familiar with Hasbro’s other properties, the Beast Racer Zord Figure fits right in with their Titan Hero line of affordable figures. At $19.99 the Racer Zord is a bit more than those, but it’s also a pretty well rounded toy. Based on the Racer Zord Battle Mode suit, the figure has heroic super robot proportions, but also a ton of sculpted in detailing. With just the right articulation cuts and the included sword & axe, the Racer Zord is a great toy for kids and display piece for collector’s of all ages.

We’ve attached the full gallery to this post, but you can also read through our review of the Beast Racer Zord Action Figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back with a Beast Morphers gallery of the 6″ Basic Tronic figure soon!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer Unboxing Gallery

Posted on April 27, 2019 at 5:21 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Unleash the beast!”

Since it was officially announced back in February 2018 that Hasbro (the massive toy company behind Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, and much more) was picking up the Power Rangers master license from Saban Brands & Bandai America, fans wondered what the future of the brand would look like. But shortly after that initial announcement, Hasbro let the world know what the Power Rangers series was headed for with Power Rangers Beast Morphers! In recent months the show has begun airing, and in fact just went on hiatus with this weekend’s introduction of the Gold Ranger! With a fresh new take on the TV show thriving, it’s good to know that the toyline is as well!

With Hasbro taking over the master license for the brand, the toyline has completely changed. While still based in practice on the designs crafted for it’s Super Sentai equivalent, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, without Bandai America involved this line has been rethought from the ground up. In light of this seismic shift in the way the Power Rangers toyline is designed and approached now, Hasbro has also decided to reach out to numerous fan sites, toy reviewers, and other prolific members of the Power Rangers fan community to foster some good will towards the new line. To that point, I & and the entire TokuNation team are proud to be included among these individuals. Hasbro has generously provided a product review mailer for us to sample the entire initial wave of Beast Morphers toys! This product mailer was 100% free and shipped to us at no cost whatsoever, it is truly a gift from Hasbro. One we incredibly and deeply appreciate.

TokuNation has been around for going on 8 years now and I’ve been doing toy reviews/galleries for this site for nearly that entire time. To say I and we are honored, would be an understatement. A toy company has never personally reached out to me before in order to review their products. So I accept this rather graciously. While I’ll be reviewing every item in this product mailer individually in the coming weeks, I wanted to take today to simply break down the contents of this generous gift on the whole, and present the wonderful packaging it was sent in. Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” for a full gallery and breakdown of the Beast Morphers Product Mailer”. You can expect our first gallery of figure’s contained within it, early next week!

Power Rangers Micro Morphers Rangers & Zords Blind Bag Mini Gallery

Posted on April 16, 2019 at 9:46 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Unleash the Beast!”

With Hasbro’s acquisition of the Power Rangers brand, both the TV show and the toy line have been revitalized. From the lowest price point entries up to the largest scale figures, everything has changed. While the majority of the brand is heavily focused on the currently airing Beast Morphers, we are still getting some product from throughout the franchise. One way is with collector style figures in the Lightning Collection line, another is through the mini figure line of Micro Morphers! Consisting of rangers, villains, and even some megazords, this line offers a fun alternative for fans of all ages.

Today we’ve taken a look at the Micro Morphers line for a little mini-review with 1 Blind Bag of rangers and 1 Megazord Blind Box. Coming 2 with 2 rangers per pack, the blind bag we opened came with a lovely Morph-X Red Ranger and the one and only Rita Repulsa! While our Megazord pack included the Beast-X Megazord as well as Smash the Beast Bot and the villainous Slicertron!

We’ve put together a 40 image mini-gallery of these figures that you can see attached to this post. Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to see our full review and breakdown of these blind packs as well. We’ll be back soon with 6″ Blaze & Tronic!
