This is the week of convention announcements, and they’re all awesome! For fans up north in Toronto will be pleased to hear that Unplugged Expo has just announced another guest – Jeff Parazzo, better known as Trent the White Ranger from Power Rangers Dino Thunder. He will join his fellow Dino Thunder cast mate Kevin Duhaney (Ethan, Blue Ranger of Power Rangers Dino Thunder) as well as the legendary Johnny Yong Bosch, known for his roles as the Black Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as the Green Rangers in Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo.

The folks who have been bringing you the classic Power Rangers to DVD as well as the amazing Legendary Power Rangers DVD Collection, Shout! Factory, will be at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. They’ve sent out a press release with details of their schedule and special guest appearances. The details are as follows!

For those of you who don’t know (and by now, who doesn’t know?) who Jason David Frank is – he played the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Zeo Red Ranger, Turbo Red Ranger, and Dino Thunder Black Ranger.  He will also appear in the season finale of Power Rangers Super Megaforce as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger.

For those fans who live on the east coast and cannot make it to Power Morphicon this year due to cost, timing, etc., great news! To all of our friends and fans up north – during the weekend of September 27th, 28th in Toronto you will have a chance to meet veteran Power Ranger and anime voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch. He will be appearing at Unplugged Expo, which will be held that weekend of September at the Chestnut Conference Centre in downtown Toronto.

Just in case you’re not familiar with Johnny Yong Bosch – he played “Adam Park” the second Black Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as well as the Green Ranger for both Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo. As for his anime credentials? He’s best known for his roles on Trigun, Bleach, Naruto, as well as video game voice over work on Saints Row IV, Persona 4, Soulcalibur V, Transformers: War For Cybertron, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

It’s been a long and arduous fight from start to finish, but Saban Brands and Bandai of America’s Morphin Madness has come to an end! Despite a few hurdles along the way, the final 5 rangers as voted on by the fans have been revealed. The 5 winning rangers, who will be made into a limited edition Ranger Key Set for 5 lucky individuals to receive are:

History’s greatest Power Rangers continue to fight it out in round 3 of Morphin Madness![/URL] The ultimate tournament to decide which 5 Legendary Rangers will be made into a limited edition Ranger Key set by Bandai of America! But the message of Morphin Madness, what it’s really all about, appears to have been lost thanks to some unfortunate poking from two sides of the fandom.

At the end of the day this competition is for fun. It’s ultimate goal however is still the production of 5 Ranger Keys. As we know BOA will only be producing about 70 keys out of 100+ rangers they have to work with. This competition will allow fans to pick 5 rangers to be made into a special limited edition Ranger Key set. Keys that simply wouldn’t exist without fan support in an event like this. The competition has been fierce and heated, but fans have stuck with it to vote for their favorite rangers and the ones they find most in need of the Ranger Key treatment. Today TokuNation would like to take a moment to honor 5 of Round 3’s rangers in a little segment we’re calling Power Playback!

Power Playback is a community viewing event that consists of 1 episode each, from 5 different classic Power Rangers seasons! Designed to give people a chance to experience some of these rangers for the first time or relive them all over again, Power Playback also gets your foot in the door on 5 classic Power Rangers series; Zeo, Mystic Force, Turbo, Lightspeed Rescue, & In Space! On the heels of this year’s LexCon, arguably the most popular Power Ranger of all time, Jason David Frank who played the Green Ranger and White Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the Red Ranger in both Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo, as well as the Black Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Thunder, has released the second episode of his self-created reality show titled My Morphin Life.  The video is below.
