Mighty Action X Beginning Set Part 1: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Level 2 Gallery

Posted on May 23, 2017 at 4:56 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“I’ll clear this with no continues!”

It’s a new beginning for S.H. Figuarts as the wonderfully wacky designs from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid arrive! Recently released as a retail 3-pack, Kamen Riders Ex-Aid, Brave & Snipe, have all made their debut. This massive 3-pack would be quite the beast to do one giant photo shoot of, so instead we’ve broken up the Mighty Action X Beginning Set into a special 3 part gallery!

Today we focus on part 1 (of 3) of the Mighty Action X Set with S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Action Gamer Level 2! Our titular hero is a fantastic place for this new line to kick off. As a the first release of a new line, it needs to set the bar high, and I believe Ex-Aid manages to do that. This figure features an impressive level of detail befitting it’s design. Crisp paint apps, a mostly functional Gamer Driver with Gasshats, and some superb articulation. Throw in the included Gashacon Breaker in both it’s modes and you have a really well rounded release. This 3 pack also includes a massive display stage for the 3 figures, but we’ll take a look at that in part 3.

Feel free to browse our entire gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Action Gamer Level 2 after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back in a few days with part 2 of the Mighty Action gallery series with S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Brave Quest Gamer Level 2!

Complete Selection Modification Den-O Belt & K-Taros Phone Pre Order Info

Posted on May 22, 2017 at 9:59 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

ORE, SANJOU!

P-Bandai’s finally launched the official pre order page for the forthcoming Complete Selection Modification Den-O Belt. With this page, we have release info, pricing, and another surprise Bandai had up their sleeve.

We’ve known that the K-Taros phone is included from the initial announcement, but so will the buckle and pass belonging to Kamen Rider G Den-O who appeared in the Episode Yellow portion of the Cho Den-O Movie Trilogy film.

The Complete Selection Modification Den-O Belt and K-Taros will set you back about 21,600 yen before middleman fees and shipping but there’s definitely value here considering everything Bandai has included in this set. Pre-Orders are set to begin May 23rd, 2017 with the cut off date being July 31st, 2017, it’ll ship out in September.

If you’re on the fence, Bandai has released a series of videos demonstrating the belt’s sounds and gimmicks:

S.H. Figuarts Dan Moroboshi (Ultra Seven’s human form) Revealed

Posted on May 22, 2017 at 5:41 pm by Den-O under Ultraman

In a surprising bit of news this month’s Figure Oh scans have revealed a previously unknown figuart from the Ultraman franchise. None other than S.H. Figuarts Dan Moroboshi!

The human form of Ultra Seven, Dan is looking pretty magnificent in figure form. Recreated here in his signature Ultra Garrison uniform, Dan is looking pretty sharp. He includes an alternate helmetless head, the Ultra Eye transformation device, and the Ultra Gun, as well as presumably several sets of hands.  Dan is set for an October release, seemingly at retail, for 6264 yen.

We’ll update this story as more information becomes available. The biggest question raised by this surprise reveal though, what does this mean for the prototypes of Retsu Ichijouji (Gavan) & Takeshi Hongo (Rider 1) that we’ve seen previously? Let’s hope it’s something good.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Riders Amazon Neo & Amazon New Omega Revealed

Posted on May 22, 2017 at 5:17 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

It was only a matter of time before these Amazons made their debut. After the critical & commercial success of the Amazon Prime series Kamen Rider Amazons it was a no-brainer to see the (so far) only new riders/forms from season 2 get the figure treatment.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Neo is currently set for release in October 2017 at a price point of 5940 yen. The lone scan available does not currently suggest this is a webshop item so he may very well be a normal retail release as Amazon Alpha & Omega were previously. However there IS an advertised Amazon Neo Amazon JP Edition, much like the previous riders. This version will not come with color coded flames, but seeming re-releases of standard red tamashii flame effects. This version will also be released in October at the higher price point of 7020 yen.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon New Omega likewise seems to be a retail release, just in November, similarly priced at 5940 yen. And just as with Neo, New Omega will also get the Amazon JP Edition treatment, assumably with yet more flame effects. This version will be release in November as well for 7020 yen.
