As Wonderfest 2019 gets underway we’re due for a few reveals in tokusatsu world this weekend. To kick things off we have 2 teased releases from SSSS.Gridman!

First up is Figma Rikka Takarada! The high school heroine of SSSS.Gridman and member of the Gridman Alliance is the first of the human characters to get an official product image so far. When she was teased back in November alongside series antagonist Akane Shinjo, we didn’t have a clear indication of when we’d see official prototype images. GSC has finally provided this first look via WonFest and we should be able to expect some release information for Rikka in the near future as well.

Next up is a Soft Vinyl Ghoulgilas! This Kaiju was originally teased for release back in late December with just a silhouette. Now we have our first test shot image of the figure announcing plans to roll it out for release. In case you’ve forgotten, this cyborg like dragon monster faced off against Gridman in the first episode of the series. Presumably this vinyl will be in scale with the Gridman & Grid Knight Figma’s as well. Release details should come at a later date.

Toei has uploaded a full preview for the next Super Sentai crossover special-

When the officers of Keisatsu Sentai Patranger investigate the sudden disappearance of their counterpart team, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger they suddenly encounter a legendary group of interstellar heroes- the members of Uchu Sentai KyuRanger!

LupinRanger VS PatRanger VS KyuRanger is currently scheduled for DVD & Blu-Ray release on August 21 2019.

Yet another Future Rider has joined the adventures of Kamen Rider Zi-O!

Hailing from the year 2121, Kamen Rider Kikai is a cyborg warrior fighting to save his reality from machines.

This golden-wrench Rider is portrayed by tokusatsu veteran Jingi Irie -best known for the role of Kikaider in the 2014 reboot film, or Zamigo in the Super Sentai series Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger.

After some early listings, we now have our first images from the second quarter of Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger!

This is our first look at the 43rd Super Sentai’s SIXTH Ranger, Ryusoul Gold! This RyuSoulger has a gold base costume but with navy blue highlights instead of the silver seen on the core five. His personal Kishiryu is a Mosasaurus.

Ryusoul Gold’s unique henshin device is the Mosa Changer– a gun that is powered by the Ryusouls. His signature weapon is known as the Mosa Blade which can combine with the Changer for more powerful attacks.

But Gold isn’t the only newcomer in these scans! A new Kishiryu has been revealed- DimeVolcano! This Dimetrodon based Mecha is able to combine with KishiRyuOh and increase its firepower. DimeVolcano also brings a unique Ryusoul- the MeraMera Cho RyuSoul– that gives the Ryusoulgers special upgrade armor.

One new image has surfaced online from the upcoming Hasbro Power Rangers lineup!

This is our first real look at the Megazord from Power Rangers Beast Morphers! This combo was referred to as the Beast X Megazord in previous listings, and is comprised of three Beast Zords.

While details are sparse at the time of writing, this design does seem very faithful to its counterpart- Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters’ Go-Buster Oh.

On top of this massive reveal, Screen Rant has also exclusively released images of the upcoming roleplay toy to have this year for Power Rangers, the Beast-X Morpher!

Now kids can imagine that they’re activating their own super powers with the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS BEAST-X MORPHER toy. Putting it on the wrist and saying “It’s Morphin Time” activates music, lights, and sound effects. Swinging it around as if battling monsters unleashes special animal-inspired sounds. This pair of exciting reveals joins the equally seismic reveal this morning of the Beast-X Ultrazord! And all of this is 8 days before Toy Fair New York 2019! When more exciting new items from this series’ lineup are revealed, we’ll be back with an update.

Looks like Power Rangers may be headed back to theaters once again!

During a financial call to discuss future projects, Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner revealed that Hasbro was currently in discussion with longtime studio partner Paramount Pictures to prepare the next Power Rangers movie.

What relation any new project might have to the 2017 cinematic release by Lionsgate is anyone’s guess. But at the moment, no further details about the future of Power Rangers on the silver screen have been announced.

Two more images from the first Hasbro produced Power Rangers toyline have been released!

*First up is the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Ultrazord! This is a non-combining version of the ultimate Beast Morphers combination, featuring lights and sounds. The suggested retail price for Beast-X Ultrazord is $39.99 USD.

*Next up is an item from the Hasbro subsidiary PlaySkool! For the even-younger fans, we have the Morphin Megazord Playset! Based on the Wild Force Megazord from Power Rangers Wild Force this Megazord converts from Robot to Beast in a single step! Suggested retail price for the Wild Force Morphin Megazord is $59.99 USD.

Both figures are currently scheduled for release in Fall 2019!

A brand-new upgrade has been revealed for Kamen Rider Zi-O!

By using a unique new RideWatch, the 3 Time Riders- Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kamen Rider Geiz & Kamen Rider Woz channel their power into a single form: Kamen Rider Zi-O Trinity!
