S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Jimber Arms Gallery

Posted on November 2, 2014 at 1:00 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Mix! Jimber Lemon/Melon/Cherry/Peach!

Following up on an excellent Zangetsu Shin Gallery by our fearless leader Kickback, it’s time for another dose of fruit rider action! Next up is S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Jimber Arms!

Kamen Rider Gaim’s first true upgraded form, Jimber Arms is a unique beast. Incorporating Gaim’s standard orange Lock Seed and an additional Energy Lock of choice gives him access to abilities in 4 unique forms. Jimber Lemon is the standard and the most often seen version of this power up. The Figuart actually includes all the alternate locks and breast plates you need to display him in Jimber Peach, Jimber Cherry, and even the never seen in show Jimber Melon! Also included are several pairs of hands and two versions of this forms trademark weapon (the weapon of choice for the Energy Riders as well) the Sonic Arrow!

Needless to say but Kamen Rider Gaim Jimber Arms is a welcome addition to a growing collection of excellent figures. Be sure to click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to check out 50 images of this fantastic figure! We’ll back soon with yet another Gaim related gallery, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Baron!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Jam Officially Revealed!

Posted on November 1, 2014 at 8:43 pm by Den-O under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions

Much like the reveal of S.H. Figuarts Marika and Suika Arms Baron last night the Tamashii Features twitter account has officially revealed S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Jam!

Jam, much like the other Gaim S.H. Figuarts releases, looks gorgeous. Sporting his Darkness Arms and wielding his Dark Daidaimaru Jam will be a pretty impressive addition to any Gaim collection. As one of a handful of Gaim riders with no Arms Change figure to fill the gap, this will be a must own for completionists like myself.

If you look to the right you can also see a tease of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Mars, which if you know Jam’s back story is no coincidence. Here’s to hopefully more official figure reveals before Tamashii Nations 2014 is over!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Marika & Suika Arms Baron Officially Revealed!

Posted on November 1, 2014 at 12:20 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

As Tamashii Nations 2014 continues we’re seeing more and more items that were on display earlier in the show but under a photo ban. Well no more for at least two figures. In a pair of images released by the Tamashii Features twitter account we have an official reveal of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Marika and S.H. Figuarts Suika Arms (Kamen Rider Baron Version)!

Both look absolutely stunning. These figures were present in the blurry image of the rather large and awesome Kamen Rider Gaim display we reported on Thursday. There are still quite a few figures reported to be in the same display actually like Jam, Mars, Kamuro, etc. As we get pics for more of them we’ll update you!

1st Kamen Rider Drive Episode 0 & Televi-Kun Special Previews

Posted on October 31, 2014 at 11:44 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

When the Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim Movie War Full Throttle film hits theaters there’s going to be a bonus for movie goers. When you purchase tickets for this film in Japan you’ll be given a free (while supplies last) Kamen Rider Drive Episode 0: Countdown to Global Freeze DVD Special!

This special, as the name implies, will take place before the series proper begins. The primary focus of this episode will be the day the Global Freeze happened and how that affected the world and characters we know. We’ll also see the initial Roidmudes that were subsequently destroyed by the other character spotlighted in this special, Kamen Rider Proto Drive!

And the recently revealed Kamen Rider Drive Secret Mission: Hunter & Monster will be included with the January issue of Televi-Kun. This special focuses on a feud between the Massive Monster & Justice Hunter Shift cars while the phantom thief Ultimate Lupin is involved in a high profile kidnapping case! And if you are unable to obtain the Episode 0 DVD have no fear, the Type Televi-Kun Special includes it as well!

Tamashii Nations 2014 Reveals Without Pictures, Yet

Posted on October 31, 2014 at 9:32 am by Den-O under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, Other Conventions

As is usual with these larger Tamashii events there’s a photo ban in place on a select group of items at Tamashii Nations 2014. For whatever reasons there’s always a selection of figures at these thing you just can’t take pictures of. Generally they’re off in their own areas of the show but eventually someone sneaks camera shots of what’s in there. For now at least there are no pictures or at least no decent ones of quite a few more things than we realized.

Before the show began Bandai aired a 30 minute livestream video in which a slideshow contained images of the Gaim & Drive displays. But thus far that’s all we had to go on. The list below confirms much of what could be made out in those images and includes several more we were unaware of. Here’s the full rundown of what IS at the show but can’t be photographed:

Updated with at least 1 image from the Kamen Rider Gaim display!

Kamen Rider
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed
S.H. Figuarts Tridoron & Drive Tire Sets
S.H. Figuarts Machine Chaser
S.H. Figuarts Ride Chaser
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Marika
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Sigurd
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Knuckle
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kurokage Shin
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Ichigo (strawberry) Arms
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryugen Kiwi Arms
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryugen Yomotsuheguri Arms
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Mars
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kamuro
S.H. Figuarts Suika Arms Gaim Version
S.H. Figuarts Suika Arms Baron Version
S.H. Figuarts Overlord Baron
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Jam

Metal Heroes
S.H. Figuarts Janperson
S.H. Figuarts Kabutack Super Mode

That so far is all the yet to be pictured items that we know are physically at the show. That’s quite a lot of stuff. Frankly the grainy images we have seen show that the Gaim & Drive displays are huge and full of figures, really great set pieces. It would seem silly for the photo ban on those sets up to last through out the show. And the two additional Metal Heroes would be welcome among the numerous other fresh reveals yesterday. We’ll keep you posted if images for anything on this list turn up from the event.

Reminder: Let’s Watch Wednesdays Poll

Posted on October 29, 2014 at 11:26 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Our journey with Kamen Rider Den-O ended last week and it’s time to finalize the community choice for our next segment. As we announced a few weeks ago the poll to decide the next Let’s Watch Wednesdays exclusively features 5 Power Rangers seasons as choices!

Voting has been pretty intense so far and our two front runners are currently tied. Voting to decide our next segment will remain open through Friday October 31st (Happy Halloween!) at 11:59 PM. At that time the show with the most votes will be our new segment set to begin next Wednesday November 5th.

Click discuss on the TokuNation Forums at the bottom of this post to be taken to our poll thread. There you’ll be able to choose from the 5 following options!

  • Power Rangers In Space
  • Power Rangers Zeo
  • Power Rangers Time Force
  • Power Rangers Jungle Fury
  • Power Rangers Lost Galaxy

Obviously with no new show chosen as of today there is not a new Let’s Watch Discussion to be posted. But perhaps use this time to catch up on those last couple of Den-O movies we had at the end, or get your regular weekly toku fix of Ressha Sentai ToQger & Kamen Rider Drive!

Celebrate Titanium Ranger Day 2014!

Posted on October 28, 2014 at 12:58 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

That time of year has rolled around once again! It’s the second annual Titanium Ranger Day! October 28th 2013 started it all when our good friend Fury Diamond of Rangercrew got together with Bandai Cards to help promote the Titanium Ranger with the official reveal of his Power Rangers ACG Card and a live chat with his actor Rhett Fisher!

What began as a simple day of appreciation for the character has grown to be much more than that. Not only did Titanium Ranger make his way into the ACG with his own card, but he was 1 of the final 5 rangers selected in the Morphin Madness competition,  he was recently featured in an exclusive Power Morphicon 2014 Ranger Key Pack, had a 5″ Super Megaforce Legendary Ranger figure produced of him, AND made it into the finale of Power Ranger Super Megaforce with the returning Legendary Rangers!

As the first ranger ever to be solely featured in Power Rangers (Lightspeed Rescue) with no sentai counterpart for his basis, Titanium Ranger is one of the most unique creations in the entire Power Rangers franchise. Appreciation for the Titanium Ranger & the actor who portrayed him, Rhett Fisher, has been on the rise for years now and it can’t be any coincidence that the character has gotten so much love this year alone at the height of the Power Rangers recent 25th anniversary. And we here at TokuNation are proud to celebrate another Titanium Ranger Day!

Feel free to click “discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to join our Titanium Ranger Day discussion thread. And while you’re at it follow the handy links below to check out a hefty selection of Titanium Ranger photo galleries we’ve posted this year.
