Toei has put up a social media promotion for the next Super Sentai theatrical event!

The new project in question will apparently be a team event featuring Mashin Sentai Kiramager, Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger and a NEW Sentai- the 45th series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger!

A new promo image was released for the film, featuring a silhouette of the Zenkaiger suits. The new designs are not fully revealed at time of writing but based on this early image the suits feature noticeable collars and antennae- perhaps similar to the original Himitsu Sentai GoRanger costumes.

We have sadly learned of the passing of Mana Kinjo, the actress best known for the role of Ui Tatsui in Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger.

Kinjo had suffered from illness during the production of RyuSoulger, even departing the series for a time. She passed away on December 1 2020 at age 24.

Our thoughts are with Mana Kinjo’s family and friends in this difficult time.

Toei has officially registered some merchandise trademarks for the 45th Super Sentai series, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger!

At time of writing, we do not have images of the toys in question but these names may provide some insight into the upcoming series.

*First up is the apparent Mecha for the Zenkaiger, Zenkai-Oh! Based on initial rumors, this will be a five-piece combination.

*Next is an item called the GearTlinger– supposedly a fusion of the characters for Gear and Gatling. This appears to be the Zenkaigers’ signature weapon.

*Finally, there is a listing for Sentai Gear! This seems to be the series’ collectible gimmick; based on previous years it seems very likely Toei will use this line to celebrate the past Super Sentai in this anniversary line.

Fan-favorite series Kamen Rider OOO is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, and Toei has announced even more merchandise releases to mark the occasion!

A special re-release of the original DX OOO Driver is on the horizon, which will include nine of the signature Core Medals. A separate release- the DX OOO Medal Set– will contain the remaining twelve Core Medals.

The 10th Anniversary DX OOO Driver is priced at 9350 Yen while the DX OOO Medal Set will cost 5280 Yen. Both sets are scheduled for release in March 2021!

After several delays we finally have trailers for the upcoming Kamen Rider winter films!

*First up is Kamen Rider Zero-One: RealXTime where Aruto must face off against the powerful new Rider, Kamen Rider Eden.

*Next comes Kamen Rider Saber: The Phoenix Swordsman & The Book Of Ruin which features the Sword of Logos united against a mysterious new foe, Kamen Rider Falchion.

Both films are scheduled for release in theaters on December 18 2020!

An unusual new item has popped up for Super Sentai & manga fans!

Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has acquired the license for the Himitsu Sentai Gorenger manga series!

Originally written and drawn by Super Sentai creator Shotaro Ishinomori, this manga was a special adaptation of the very first Super Sentai series published in 1975.

The full collection of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger- The Classic Manga Collection in hardcover format- release is tentatively scheduled for April 2021 with a price of $24.99 USD.

The Kamen Rider Gaim resurgence continues!

Premium Bandai has revealed a new form for everyone’s favorite military-grade pastry chef Kamen Rider Bravo!

This new form is used in the new Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden feature Bravo VS Gridon. By using the King Durian LockSeed the new form King Durian Arms is activated, granting Kamen Rider Bravo untold strength.

SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Bravo King Durian Arms is scheduled for release in June 2021. The price is a modest 6380 Yen before shipping & handling.

During today’s Fan First Friday stream, Hasbro revealed a plethora of new details for the upcoming season Power Rangers Dino Fury!

Power Rangers toy design lead John Warden and fellow designer Jordan joined the stream to reveal the first Dino Fury toys-

*Leading off was the Basic assortment of standard Power Rangers action figures- specifically Dino Fury Red, Dino Fury Blue & Dino Fury Pink alongside a villain named BoomTower– which some fans might recognize as Tankjoh from Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger.

*Next up was the Dino Fury Morpher! This wrist-mounted device uses special Power Keys to unlock new abilities for the Dino Fury Rangers. Each Basic figure includes a Power Key.

*A sub-line called Basic Attackers was also revealed; this category features a Dino Fury Ranger figure with special attack features packaged with a Monster.

*The Dino Fury Zords are still in prototype phase but we were given a quick look at the T-Rex Champion Zord and the four core Zords for this series.

Last but certainly not least, we got to meet the rest of the Dino Fury Rangers!

*Chance Perez will play Javier the Dino Fury Black Ranger.
*Tessa Rao will portray Izzy, the Dino Fury Green Ranger- a genderswap from the Super Sentai counterpart.

Some new images for the upcoming new villain entries in the Power Rangers Lightning Collection have been released online!

Two iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers monsters- King Sphinx & Pumpkin Rapper are recreated in exquisite details. Each comes with a variety of weapons & effect parts.

These Lightning Monsters are currently scheduled for release in Spring 2021. The Monster figures will be available at a slightly higher price point- $29.99 USD.
