London Toy Fair 2018 – 1st Image of Legacy 6.5″ Red & Blue Psycho Rangers!

Posted on January 23, 2018 at 8:36 am by Den-O under Conventions, Other Conventions, Power Rangers, Toy Fair

We’ve only just begun reporting our findings from London Toy Fair 2018, but unfortunately the entire Bandai Power Rangers display is currently under a photo ban. Which is pretty typical for these events and held true at last year’s London Toy Fair as well. However, someone at the show was apparently daring enough to snap at least one picture., and this is kind of  a big one. Now we have our very first look at the Power Rangers Legacy 6.5″ Red & Blue Psycho Rangers!

TokuNation user thedangerranger was kind enough to share this image on our forums. From what we can gather, these figures are not in a prominent area of the Bandai UK display space. Given that they aren’t even standing up properly, it’s even possible they may have been totally overlooked. From what we can see though the sculpt looks on point for both and each appears to include their appropriate weapon as well, Red’s Psycho Sword & Blue’s Psycho Axe. When and if a better look at these figure from the event becomes available we hope to be able to share it with you!

Toy Fair London 2018 – New Power Rangers Items on Display

Posted on January 23, 2018 at 4:51 am by Chris under Power Rangers, Toy Fair

Greetings from Toy Fair London 2018! Unfortunately, no pictures are allowed of what’s on display. However we do have a man on the inside – our very own ZeoRangerV – and he was able to give us a rundown on what exactly is on display! There are a few new items not yet seen listed below. Keep in mind – this is from Bandai UK and does not necessarily reflect anything for the United States. But this could be a good indication of what’s to come from Bandai America at the upcoming Toy Fair New York 2018.

Check out the full list of what’s on display listed below!

– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Green Ranger Helmet (1:1 scale)
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy White Ranger Helmet (1:4 scale)
– Power Rangers In Space Legacy 6.5″ Psycho Red Ranger
– Power Rangers In Space Legacy 6.5″ Psycho Blue Ranger
– Power Rangers Zeo Legacy Zeonizer
– Power Rangers Zeo Legacy Golden Power Staff
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Communicator
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Green Ranger Auto-Morphin Figure
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Blue Ranger Auto-Morphin Figure
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Black Ranger Auto-Morphin Figure
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Yellow Ranger Auto-Morphin Figure
– Power Rangers Zeo Legacy 6.5″ Red Ranger
– Power Rangers Zeo Legacy 6.5″ Blue Ranger
– Power Rangers Zeo Legacy 6.5″ Green Ranger
– Power Rangers Dino Thunder Legacy 6.5″ Black Ranger
– Power Rangers Dino Thunder Legacy 6.5″ White Ranger
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Tyrannosaurus Zord
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Sabertooth Tiger Zord
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Mastadon Zord
– Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel “Super Blaster” (looks like a cannon form of Lion Fire Megazord)
– Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Simian Sniper Zord (a large black and gold ape zord that fires missiles)

The Simian Sniper Zord for Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel is a motion activated dart launcher zord. The Legacy 6.5″ Psycho Rangers have an incredible amount of detailing. These are prototypes and the paint does not appear to be metallic which ZeoRangerV says works for their benefit. They do come with weapons. Psycho Red has the Psycho Sword and Psycho Blue has the Psycho Axe.

We will make further updates if any more information, or pictures, become available!

Power Morphicon 2018 Exclusive Legacy Figure is Lord Drakkon

Posted on January 22, 2018 at 3:48 pm by Chris under Power Morphicon, Power Rangers

Highly speculated since it’s announcement and confirmed today through @bboyrealm on Twitter (guest relations at Power Morphicon), the BOOM! Studios creation Lord Drakkon will be joining the Legacy 6.5″ figure collection of Power Rangers. As an exclusive to this year’s Power Morphicon, you will need to register at the show and purchase the figure separately after you’ve registered.

Lord Drakkon first appeared in the BOOM! Studios comic book series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In an alternate reality where Tommy chose to stay with Rita Repulsa, Tommy destroyed the Power Rangers and combined the Green Ranger and White Ranger powers to become the evil Lord Drakkon! He will be featured prominently in the upcoming comic event Shattered Grid, where Power Rangers from all over time will need to come together to defeat him once and for all.

You can register for Power Morphicon 2018 by clicking here.

Posted on December 1, 2017 at 12:28 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider, Other Conventions, Ultraman

Just when you thought we were done, the hits from Tamashii Nations 2017 just keep on coming. Many have speculated the release of an S.H.Figuarts Kotoaro Minami, or a Complete Selection announcement. And while it might not be the former, what we do have is Tamashii Lab’s replica of Kamen Rider Black RX’s signature weapon: The Revolcane on display.

In addition to that, we have our first look at prototype S.I.C Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha, along with a plethora of new S.H.Figuarts Kaiju from the Ultraman series.

The last big reveal of the day comes from the beloved Kamen Rider Ex-Aid series. Shown off on display is none other than the final boss himself – Kamen Rider Cronus! Displayed with a Gamer Driver (aka Gamer Driver version), Kamen Rider Cronus looks absolutely glorious.

Rumor from @_Erasu on Twitter, from a trusted source, is that the Kamen Rider Cronus will come with both the Gamer Driver and Bugster-type versions of belts. Stay tuned for more information and, hopefully, better pictures! Picture courtesy of @YongouOYander on Twitter.’

Posted on December 1, 2017 at 4:43 am by Chris under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions

The Shinkocchou Seihou series of S.H. Figuarts has the design process starting with the bone structure of the character and building up, providing more realization without limiting articulation. At the Tamashii Nations 2017 event currently happening in Japan, images have leaked of the Shinkocchou Seihou version of Kamen Rider Wizard!

Currently, two images are linked to this article courtesy of @YongouOYander on Twitter. Check out the new version of Kamen Rider Wizard by clicking the title of the story. No further details on this figure are available at this time – it is simply on display.

Tamashii Nations 2017 Teases More Soul Of Chogokin Pacific Rim Releases!

Posted on November 30, 2017 at 7:10 pm by Paladin under Conventions, General Tokusatsu News, Other Conventions

Fans of the 2013 Kaiju/Mecha action film PACIFIC RIM have been hoping for some new & improved merchandise ever since Bandai took over the license.

The first such wish has apparently been granted thanks to the marvelous Soul of Chogokin figure series, with a beautifully-recreated Gipsy Danger figure scheduled for release in early 2018.

But it seems there may be OTHER Soul of Chogokin releases on the horizon for Pacific Rim! The Tamashii Nations 2017 display room has mock-up displays for two more Jaeger releases: Cherno Alpha & Striker Eureka!

Sadly, no other information about these potential releases is available at time of writing. But feel free to join in our Ongoing Tamashii Nations 2017 Discussion Thread to share your thoughts on these (and other) new reveals!
