Yet another year and another Tamashii Nations fall event have come and gone! As with every year there were more than a few surprises on display, the expected & unexpected, a few disappointments, line changes, and a few notable absences. Sound off in our ongoing discussion of all the reveals from this show by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

Tamashii Nations 2015: S.I.C. Kamen Riders Baron, Zangetsu, & Ryugen Revealed!

Posted on October 29, 2015 at 11:03 pm by Den-O under Conventions, Kamen Rider

On top of the incredible looking S.I.C. Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms revealed earlier today we have new images showcasing 3 more S.I.C. Gaim Riders! No other information is available currently but we have initial images of:

S.I.C. Kamen Rider Baron Banana Arms

S.I.C. Kamen Rider Zangetsu Melon Arms

S.I.C. Kamen Rider Ryugen Budou arms

These 3 are already looking just as impressive as Gaim himself. Time will tell if these figures, or even Gaim, see an actual release. But for now enjoy these images as our coverage of Tamashii Nations 2015 continues!

We’ve had a ton of reveals up to this point but a LOT more are apparently on the way as more sections of the show are made available to the general public. A portion of the rumored figures list comes from The Ghouly News, but still take it with a bit of salt as we can’t confirm some of these figures yet. Thanks to some teaser images released by Bandai we have at least a few confirmed things to look forward to:

NYCC 2015 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie Dino Chargers Power Pack Gallery

Posted on October 25, 2015 at 8:49 pm by Den-O under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

Energize, Engage!

This one’s a little bit late but we’ve finally got a gallery and review ready to share of the NYCC 2015 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie Dino Charger Power Pack! And we’ve also included the concurrently released Toys ‘R’ Us exclusive Ninja Mega Falconzord Charger in this gallery!

The Movie Dino Charger pack is one supremely nice con exclusive as you’ll see in the photos attached to this article and in the full gallery. The packaging for this set is identical to the SDCC MMPR Charger Pack, all 6 Ranger Chargers are included and a spot is reserved on the end for the Ninja Mega Falconzord Charger. The 6 Movie Ranger Chargers feature the helmets, personal weapons, & Ninja Zords for each ranger as well as the Original Movie Logo within the rotating prism. While the Ninja Mega Falconzord Charger features a group shot of the team, the White Ranger Morpher & a full image of the Ninja Mega Falconzord itself!

We’ve assembled 80 images of this magnificent set after the jump as well as an in depth review. But first why not check out this brief video below showcasing the sound effects that these chargers make when interacting with the Dino Charge Morpher!

Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to see the full gallery and share your thoughts in the discussion thread!

NYCC 2015 – Update to info on Legacy Falconzord and Thunder Megazord

Posted on October 12, 2015 at 11:53 am by Chris under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

We reported this via our @TokuNation Twitter account yesterday, but we are also making a front page post at the behest of our friends at Bandai America who want to make sure that this information gets out to everyone as there was a lot of concern over the original details.

Regarding the Legacy Thunder Megazord: The individual zords that make up the Thunder Megazord will indeed combine with each other to form the classic attack sled just like the original release 20 years ago. The information before was uncertain but Bandai America is now confirming that the attack sled can indeed be formed by the individual zords.

Regarding the Legacy Falconzord: The original price listed in Toys’R’Us computers showed a suggested retail of $79.99. Many fans were upset as the Legacy Falconzord by itself does very little – it’s a bird that doesn’t turn in to anything and only acts as an attachment for the Ninja Megazord and the Shogun Megazord, which currently have not been announced as upcoming Legacy items but teased as such by Bandai America at NYCC 2015. Towards the end of the show, Bandai America reached out to us to confirm that the price of the Legacy Falconzord will be $59.99. This is great news for a lot of us as we believed the original price of $80 was too high.

A very special thanks to Greg Mitchell from Bandai America for the follow up on these questions. Please stay tuned as there’s a lot of great things coming from Bandai America for fans of both the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as fans of Power Rangers Dino Charge!

NYCC 2015 – Questions and Answers with Bandai America

Posted on October 11, 2015 at 2:36 pm by Chris under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

Our very own Sentai Tamashii is attending New York Comic Con 2015 and had some time to sit down with Greg Mitchell from Bandai America. We had asked on our @TokuNation Twitter account for some of the questions you guys had for Bandai America, as well as some of our own.

We asked around 12 questions and got answers for pretty much all of them!  More Ranger Keys … we remind them which ones not to forget (and it looks like they almost did!).  A 5″ Talon Ranger figure?  Why does the Legacy line continue to rise in price – especially that $80 Falonzord?  And does the Legacy Thunder Megazord have that attack sled formation?  We got the answers!  Click on “Read More” to read our Q&A!

NYCC 2015 – Power Rangers Dino Charge

Posted on October 8, 2015 at 11:18 am by Chris under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

Here are some images of the Power Rangers Dino Charge figures on display. Unfortunately, there was no new product revealed at NYCC 2015 this year. The diorama on display looks identical to the one seen at SDCC 2015. What was shown is as follows:

– Dino Charge Megazord
– Ptera Charge Megazord
– 5″ Figures (villain waves)

So while it’s not Poisandra or Dino Super Charge, either way it is still awesome to look at, so check out all the images after the jump!
