“Time for, Time Force!”

Travelling back in time from the year 3000 the wanted criminal Ransik sought to control the Earth before his enemies at Time Force ever even existed. Having disposed with the Red Ranger of his time, Alex Drake, Ransik had ensured his enemies could no longer Morph despite following him to the past. Luckily for Time Force though, Alex’s ancestor Wes Collins was willing to step up and ensure that the future came to pass. With the DNA locks on their Chronomorphers broken, the Time Force Rangers could access their powers again! Joining these heroes from the future, Wes Collins is the Time Force Red Ranger!

The Time Force Red Ranger brings us the first of these time travelling heroes to the Power Rangers Lightning Collection. Building from all the standard articulation hallmarks of the line, Wes also has quite the accessories to accompany him. Both of his Chrono Sabers, an effect part for them, the Chrono Blaster, a pair of hands, and an unmasked head of Wes Collins based on the likeness of his actor, Jason Faunt! That’s quite a release to kick off a team of rangers with.

“Drago power, white ranger.”

Both of Trent Fernandez’s parents were lost in an archaeological dig accident, while working for Anton Mercer. The man who would be Mesogog. And the man who would also become Trent’s adoptive father. Not knowing his new guardians’ alter ego, Trent unwittingly stumbled into one of Mesogog’s invisportals and discovered the White Dino Gem. Fused with it’s power, and taken control of by it’s evil intent, Trent savagely attacked the Power Rangers many times. That is until his father, able to briefly suppress Mesogog, freed Trent of the gem’s influence. Finally in control of his own power and ready to defend the world against Mesogog’s army of monsters, Trent Mercer joined the Power Rangers as the Dino Thunder White Ranger!

The Lightning Collection Dino Thunder White Ranger was released earlier this year as a Walgreen’s exclusive in the US, actually well before it’s official announcement. And some glaring issues with it’s head aside, this is an excellent release. A dynamic figure with plenty of paint apps (though a few are missing) and some pretty great accessories like the Drago Sword and laser arrow effects, the White Ranger is a great way to kick of the Dino Thunder Rangers in this line.

Several new images have been released online detailing the next wave of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection!

The eighth wave of the Lightning Collection contains the following figures:


*Dino Thunder Blue Ranger
*Lost Galaxy Red Ranger
*SPD Pink Ranger
*Zeo Green Ranger

Based on previous retail listings, this wave is expected to hit shelves in Spring 2021.

Via the power of social media – specifically Twitter – ThreeZero has teased upcoming 1/6th scale Power Rangers figures as part of their FigZero collection.  There are no details to be shared at this time but feast your eyes on these figures.

Unlike other 1/6th scale figures that you may have seen of the Power Rangers this past year – these ARE officially licensed by Hasbro.

IT’S MORPHIN TIME! 

 

Some new press photos have been making the rounds for the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Fury toy line found via Martian_Ranger. The images included gives us our first in-package look at the basic Dino Fury Pink Ranger 6 inch action figure along with the included RyuSoul counterpart.

No further release info such as price or release date was given, though we expect the rest of the photos to be found shortly so stay tuned, and we’ll provide further updates as they are made available.

Online retailer ToyWiz has put up some early listings for the next wave of the fan-favorite Power Rangers Lightning Collection action figure series!

The eighth wave of the Lightning Collection will apparently consist of:


*Zeo Green Ranger
*Dino Thunder Blue Ranger
*Lost Galaxy Red Ranger
*SPD Pink Ranger

No images of the wave have been released at time of writing. If the details are correct, we can expect to see these new Lightning Collection figures on shelves beginning in Spring 2021!

“Go tell King Mondo, if it’s a fight he wants, it’s a fight he’s gonna get!”

Tommy Oliver has been a Power Ranger before. First as the corrupted Green Ranger before turning to the side of good, and again as he was given another chance and a new set of powers as the White Ranger. But with his powers destroyed and the Command Center in ruins, what’s left for this once Mighty Morphin hero? Alpha 5 & Zordon have spent years preparing for this , a day when the Power Rangers as we know them, would be gone forever, and a new fighting force would have to take their place. With the Machine Empire and it’s fearsome new monsters invading Earth, the only team that can stand up to them is the Power Rangers Zeo! Imbued with the energy of the Zeo Crystals, each ranger is stronger than before! Tommy once again heeds the call to defend Earth, but this time as Zeo Ranger V, RED!

The Red Zeo Ranger joins the Power Rangers Lightning Collection for Wave 6, and marks the 3rd (or 4th) release so far for the team after Blue and the two different Gold’s. Building off the solid base that is the Zeo Ranger mold, Tommy is an excellent release. With all the right articulation hallmarks needed for dynamic posing, this figure is also packed with accessories. Like an unmasked head sculpt, a Zeo Laser Pistol & effect part for it, the Power Pod Sword, and the Zeo V Power Sword! While a couple of issues persist from the last release, this feels like an all around improvement.

“It’s time for a Gold Rush!”

Courage, Wisdom, & Heart. Travelling to Earth in the mighty Pyramidas, Trey of Triforia carried with him the awesome powers of the Zeo Gold Ranger! Aiding the Power Rangers whenever a new threat appeared, the Gold Ranger rushed onto the battlefield. And although Trey had to pass his powers to Jason Lee Scott for a time, this golden hero is tough to defeat. After helping the rangers to defeat the Machine Empire once and for all, Trey remained an ally of Earth for years to come in the battles against both the Alliance of Evil and the Armada. After all, once a ranger, always a ranger.

Quick as lightning, strong as steel, this galler is for real! We kick off Toku Toy Box season this year with our gallery of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection Zeo Gold Ranger! This release marks the figure’s debut in the retail line after previously being exclusive to the SDCC 2019 2-pack with the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger. And this release of the mold is also as the original user of the powers, Trey of Triforia. So of course this retail release includes a new unmasked head for Trey, but it also includes a new version of the Golden Power Staff as well as a recolor of the energy effect included with the last release. But are there more differences between these two Gold Rangers? You’ll have to read the full review to find out!

During today’s Fan First Friday stream, Hasbro revealed a plethora of new details for the upcoming season Power Rangers Dino Fury!

Power Rangers toy design lead John Warden and fellow designer Jordan joined the stream to reveal the first Dino Fury toys-

*Leading off was the Basic assortment of standard Power Rangers action figures- specifically Dino Fury Red, Dino Fury Blue & Dino Fury Pink alongside a villain named BoomTower– which some fans might recognize as Tankjoh from Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger.

*Next up was the Dino Fury Morpher! This wrist-mounted device uses special Power Keys to unlock new abilities for the Dino Fury Rangers. Each Basic figure includes a Power Key.

*A sub-line called Basic Attackers was also revealed; this category features a Dino Fury Ranger figure with special attack features packaged with a Monster.

*The Dino Fury Zords are still in prototype phase but we were given a quick look at the T-Rex Champion Zord and the four core Zords for this series.

Last but certainly not least, we got to meet the rest of the Dino Fury Rangers!

*Chance Perez will play Javier the Dino Fury Black Ranger.
*Tessa Rao will portray Izzy, the Dino Fury Green Ranger- a genderswap from the Super Sentai counterpart.

Power Rangers Dino Fury is scheduled to hit TV and toy shelves in 2021. Stay tuned to TokuNation for this exciting new chapter in Ranger history!
