Another round of magazine scans has begun circling the Internet, giving fans a few tidbits about the further adventures of Kaitou Sentai LupinRanger vs Keisatsu Sentai PatRanger!

This month’s star is the mysterious Ranger X! This newcomer is able to shift between forms- the silver Lupin X and the gold Patren X. However, the new Rangers’ true identity has not yet been revealed at this time- fans can only wonder who is behind the helmet. X is not allied with the LupinRangers OR the PatRangers but does fight the Gangler whenever they appear- he will help whichever team he feels needs it.

To activate his powers, X uses his unique henshin device- the X-Changer! This new Changer comes with a pair of special VS Vehicles based on trains- the X-Train Gold & X-Train Silver. To change forms, Ranger X merely rotates the cannon on the Changer.

Rounding out his arsenal, X has a signature weapon- the X Rod Sword which also has two unique modes- Sword Mode and Jitte Mode.

Finally, some interesting casting has been announced for the upcoming LupinRanger VS PatRanger summer movie: Comedian Naoki Tanaka will be playing the role of Herlock Sholmes– the only detective to ever catch legendary thief Arsene Lupin!

With release impending in August, Bandai B-Boys have updated their blog with new unpainted prototype images of the upcoming Super Sentai Artisan Won Tiger!

The blog post mentions that they are in the middle of mold progression and finalizing changes to it before final release. Adjustments will continue to be made. Mention is also made of the new double joint in the Tiger’s forward legs, allowing it to pose in ways the original couldn’t. They also talk about trying to find the correct balance in the marbling of the white/gray parts.

Another blog update for this gorgeous piece is scheduled for June 1st. We’ll see you again then!

Surprise! No, this isn’t the recently teased SOC GX-81 release Tamashii Nations has been talking about on Twitter. This year’s con exclusive release is indeed a a Black repaint of the SOC GX-76 Megazord/Daizyujin

Taking a current from Transformers repaints of the same variety, rather than use the usual gold accents we see with Black Megazord & Daizyujin repaints, this one opts for teal accents. Nemesis Megazord am I right?

This release will be exclusively available at San Diego Comic Con 2018, at the Bluefin Brands booth.

The good people at MMPRToys have revealed some surprising details about upcoming Super Sentai DVD releases from Shout! Factory.

In a startling break with the current pattern, Shout!’s next release will be Chojin Sentai Jetman! This will be the first series PREDATING all Power Rangers adaptations, a move many fans did not expect. Jetman is tentatively scheduled for a September 2018 release!

And not losing pace at all, Shout! Factory will resume the previous pattern of Super Sentai boxsets with their next release- Hyakuju Sentai GaoRanger! Adapted in 2002 to make Power Rangers Wild Force, this set is planned for a December 2018 release!

If you’ve been following LupinRanger VS Patoranger, you might be all too familiar with Tsukasa(PatRen 3) and her obsession for all things cute and plush. And for those of you that might be looking for that sweet, sweet release P-Bandai has just the thing.

A trio of adorable plush key chains just went up for pre-order, representing Tsukasa’s obsession and first off we have , the shark plush from episode 4 of the series in addition to Fuwa-Pan and Jagaton which were the focus of episode 13.

All three will be released in July for the modest price of 2,700 yen.

Toei has announced a new TerebiKun SuperBattle DVD special episode for the current Super Sentai series- Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger!

This SuperBattle, titled Girlfriends Army– features a teamup between two of the Rangers- Umika/ Lupin Yellow and Tsukasa / Patren 3. Exact story details for this adventure are sadly unrevealed at time of writing.

Girlfriends Army is currently scheduled for release on June 30 2018! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Super Sentai news!

Thanks to some new catalog images, we have our first look at the physical suits for the upcoming new member(s) of Kaitou Sentai Lupin Ranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger!

This new entity appears to be a “double-agent,” working with BOTH Ranger teams! The silver form is known as Lupin-X while the gold form is called Patren-X. Forms are changed using a new device called the X-Changer.

Sadly, the full story of this new Ranger remains unrevealed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this unique new Super Sentai series!

“Gattai! Live Dimension!”

Since Super Minipla began in mid-2016, it’s blossomed into quite the heavy hitting toyline. Setting itself apart from Bandai’s normal Minipla toyline, Super manages to recreate giant robots (of the live action and animated varieties) in fantastic form. In many cases these new models are incredible cost-effective alternatives to long gone and expensive DX toys. So far that’s been illustrated best by today’s subject, Super Minipla Live Robo!

Choujuu Sentai Liveman was the 2nd sentai announced for this line after Zyuranger, and if collector reaction is any indicator then Bandai needs to focus on more pre-zyu series. Super Minipla Live Robo is one excellent set. Thanks to the new and innovative design methods used for this line over standard Minipla, we get 3 fully functional vehicles in Sky Land & Aqua Machines. We also get an intricate transformation with minimal parts removal that results in a functional highly poseable robot armed with it’s trademark Super Beast Sword & Live Shield. Even if model kits aren’t your thing, this set definitely will be.

This month’s exciting new magazine scans for Kaitou Sentai LupinRanger VS Keisatsu Sentai PatRanger have been making the rounds online, courtesy of Rangerboard and some translations via SpecialForm12 via Twitter.

Items of interest for the month:

-New Trigger Machines added to the PatRanger’s arsenal: Trigger Machine Crane and Drill can combine to form PatKaiser Strong, similar to the Scissor and Blade dial fighters of the Lupinranger’s.

-Various pieces of the elusive Lupin Collection are highlighted, and it’s mentioned that only Kogure knows their true purpose and something happening when all pieces are gathered. 

–Lupin X was also highlighted in this scan. He’ll be joining the fight against the Ganglars in next month’s batch of episodes!
