Posted on June 28, 2016 at 4:43 pm by Den-O under General Tokusatsu News

Bu Toys facebook page has updated with a selection of new official images for their upcoming Space Ironmen Kyodain figures! Three of these images have been posted so far showing off what the finalized figures will look like. Two of them feature Skyzel & Grounzel with their specialized weapon hands.

Bu Toys own account has also responded to a collector and confirmed the rough price of these figures. Skyzel & Grounzel will retail for $1250 HKD each or about $160 USD. However Bu Toys has also confirmed that they dont currently have a US distributor for these figures either.

We’ll keep you up to date as production of these wonderful figures progress forward, and as possible US distribution is made clear.

Bu Toys Reveals Space Ironmen Kyodain Figures

Posted on June 22, 2016 at 10:58 am by Den-O under General Tokusatsu News

After teasing them over a month ago, Bu Toys has just fully revealed their upcoming Space Ironmen Kyodain figures!

Based on the 1976 Shotaro Ishinimori live action series Space Ironmen Kyodain (Uchuu Tetsujin Kyodain) an updated version of these characters made an appearance in the Kamen Rider Fourze Movie: Space, Here We Come. Bu Toys however is giving the hardcore collector what they want with these roughly 7.8″ (200mm) scale figures of the original Skyzel & Grounzel as they appeared in the classic TV series.

If you’re an obscure tokusatsu fan (like me) this is definitely an exciting announcement. We’ll keep you informed as release info becomes available for these figures!

Super Hero Taisen Z Updates: Returning Roles and Metal Hero Galleon Buster Attack

Posted on April 11, 2013 at 3:36 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, Super Sentai

While previous scans for the fourth coming Super Hero Taisen Z confirmed the appearance of past Metal Heroes via Gokai Change, a new update has confirmed that sadly, the keys will only be used in a Gokai Galleon Buster attack, much like the appearance of the Kamen Rider OOO forms in last year’s Super Hero Taisen.

And while the Gokaigers are returning for this installment of Super Hero Taisen, it’s sadly been confirmed that it’ll only be in voice only, with Ryota Ozawa reprising his role as Captain Marvelous. Ayumi Kinoshinta(AKA:Jasime/DekaYellow) and Kohki Okada will also reprise their roles as Skydain and Groundain respectively.

Lastly, Toei’s official site for the film has also been updated giving a brief history of the Metal Hero franchise.

More Details on the Kamen Rider Fourze Movie

Posted on May 30, 2012 at 12:23 pm by Chris under Kamen Rider

Coming in August of this year to a theater near you (if you live in Japan that is) will be the continued tradition of each Kamen Rider series having a movie, as Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie – Everyone it’s Space Time! releases. And just like with the Gokaiger movie which featured Gavan, the Kamen Rider Fourze movie will feature another long-thought-dead Tokusatsu series of characters, Uchuu Tetsujin – or Space Ironmen.

Thanks to Jefusion and Henshin Justice, here’s a brief translation of the story involving the Space Ironmen!

With the use of Cosmic Energy, Grandain was created together with his sister, Skydain by the Federation of Alicia. When they were activated, they already have their own will, and decided to rebel against humanity. Skydain has two blades on her arms that she can fold out, while, Grandain had a weapon called GranBuster X, a cannon on his chest.

Black Knight is the third Space Ironman is called. He works together with Inga Blink (Mikie Hara) of the Federation of Alicia. He mostly relies on his strong defensive armor instead of offensive attacks. On his chest, he has a mounted machine gun. As a weapon, he uses a rapier called “Blackest Leaver.”

Kamen Rider Fourze The Movie releases August 4th and is directed by longtime Power Rangers stunt choreographer Koichi Sakamoto. Get ready for space time!
