“Cast Off: Change, Stag Beetle!”

Toku Toy Box continues with another gallery of a recent release. Today’s subject was long overdue, and thankfully the wait has been worth it. S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Gattack is yet another incredible entry into Bandai’s high end line of renewals.

Kamen Rider Gattack is of course the secondary rider of Kabuto & the case can definitely be made that he’s the real star of the show. And thanks to the fantastic engineering of the S.S. Kabuto body, this star really gets the chance to shine. Gattack includes the full range of articulation previously seen with Kabuto and brings his own gorgeous color scheme and accessories to the party. Both of Gattack’s Double Caliburs are included & they can combine for his Rider Cutting finish. Also, unlike Kabuto, Gattack even includes an alternate version of his Zecter! It’s that time of the month again for an official image drop! First up for tonight’s reveals is S.H. Figuarts Gattack Extender!

Like many Rider Machines the Gattack Extender doesn’t included many accessories (rear wheel base & tamashii stage adapter), but it’s a gorgeous release. The trusty ride of Kamen Rider Gattack, it’s the perfect compliment to your Shinkocchou Seihou Gattack. The Gattack Extender will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in March 2017 for 5184 yen.

We’re trying something a little new this month at TokuNation. Or rather, something old. Recently we took a look at the original release of Kuuga Ultimate Form, ahead of his Shinkocchou Seihou renewal. Well today we’re going to take a look at another older release that’s about to be made obsolete by his S.S. replacement, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gattack!

The 4th release from the Kabuto line in 2008, Kamen Rider Gattack is showing his age quite a bit these days. While serviceable for the era he was released in, Gattack suffers from more than a few QC issues common at the time. On the flip side if you aren’t looking to drop the 6480 yen that the Shinkocchou Seihou release will run you next month, then the original Gattack may do the trick.

Just confirmed for release via a Figure Oh image dump yesterday, S.H. Figuarts Shinkochu Seihou Kamen Rider Gattack now has a full array of official images and pricing!

Gattack is the 2nd rider from Kamen Rider Kabuto, following it’s titular lead, to receive the Shinkochu Seihou treatment. And it looks like he may set the precedent of Shinkochu Seihou secondary riders being Tamashii Web Exclusives. While that may put some off, this figuart is shaping up to be a fantastic release. Using the S.S. Kabuto body as a base, including 3 sets of hands as well as the Gattack Double Calibur combining blades, this rider  is ready to join his premium partner in style.

S.H. Figuarts Shinkochu Seihou Kamen Rider Gattack will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in September for 6480 yen. Get with your preferred middleman service today to secure one!
