After it’s initial reveal this past weekend Bandai has just released official images & info for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Mach Chaser!

This special form, debuting in the Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Mach V-Cinema film, is accessed using the new Ride Crosser Shift Car. Further deepening the blend of Mach & Chasers’ powers. S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gold Drive Gallery

Posted on October 31, 2016 at 11:30 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates

“Familial love? I felt no such thing.”

After a weekend of fantastic teases for possible releases from Kamen Rider Drive, we thought it was finally time to take a look at this excellent release. One of the strangest but most welcome retail releases for sometime, it’s everyone’s favorite maniacal, apocalypse bringing, evil deadbeat dad! That’s right, it’s S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gold Drive!

Gold Drive is a pretty straightforward repaint of the basic Drive Type Speed figuart with Proto-Drive’s archetype gear/proto-tire. The thing is though that this release takes an already fantastic mold, and spruces it up with the perfect paint apps. While this release brings literally nothing new to the table mold or accessory wise (in fact it comes with less) it’s probably the nicest use of this body so far. With the upcoming release of Zero Drive we’ve already seen 4 versions of this mold. Come on Bandai, when can we have Type high Speed? But this is yet another excellent addition to any Kamen Rider Drive, or in fact evil Rider/toku villain collection! Read on to find out why.

We’ve attached a selection of images to this post but you can enjoy a full gallery of 70 images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gold Drive by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post!

Tamashii Nations 2016: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Reveals, Rider 1, Skull & More!

Posted on October 27, 2016 at 11:57 pm by Den-O under Conventions, Other Conventions

After a pretty fast & furious day of new reveals we have one more round to kick this years Tamashii Naitons off properly. A list of figures currently on display at the show but yet to be pictured was circulating this evening and now thankfully we have images of most of them, courtesy of @_Erasu on twitter. Newly pictured are:

S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Siehou
Ichigo (Rider 1)
W Heat/Metal
Skull
Accel
Nazca

Frankly each of these figures looks incredible and greatly benefits from the Shinkocchou Seihou renewal treatment. The biggest reveal of this grouping is of course Rider 1, whom many have hoped would receive the premium style treatment we see here, for years. This is certainly an exciting lineup of figures to see at this years event. We look forward to being able to bring you more information and images of these figures as Tamashii nations 2016 continues!

First Full Look at S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Level 2

Posted on October 27, 2016 at 2:07 pm by Den-O under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions

Ahead of the Tamashii Hour reveal at Tamashii Nations 2016, a new images of the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid has begun circulating. This new image comes courtesy of @VinzChing on Twitter.

Although this image is a bit on the small side, it provides our  first full look at Ex-Aid, giving us some of our first impressions of what to expect from the full reveal this weekend. We can obviously see that Ex-Aid features all the great detailing present in the show suit. The figure has also ditched the “drop-down” style hips of the Ghost line, and appears to feature removable Gasshats.

While we don’t have much more to go on, we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with any new information or images that become available for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. As well as any new info from the Tamashii Nations 2016 event!

Tamashii Nations 2016: Bandai Teases Redman Figure

Posted on October 27, 2016 at 12:14 pm by Den-O under Conventions, General Tokusatsu News, Other Conventions, Ultraman

Redman. The often forgotten violent step-child of the Ultra family looks to finally be receiving a figure of some kind. At it’s currently ongoing Tamashii Nations 2016 event Bandai has just release a teaser silhouette of a Redman figure. We can only assume that it will be an S.H. Figuart given that’s the trend with Ultraman characters.

For a little clarification, if you don’t know Redman, here’s the scoop. Redman starred in a short mini-series from 1972 comprised of 138 5-minute long episodes and was primarily known for rather violently executing his enemies. Kaiju which were culled from Ultraman productions to cut costs. It seems that this figure is being made largely in part thanks to Tsuburaya streaming the entire series on it’s youtube channel recently.

As more information becomes available about the Redman figure this weekend we’ll update this story. Stay tuned to TokuNation for all of your Tamashii Nations 2016 updates!
