The next issue of Figure Oh has just been teased with a censored cover. With the cover feature being the next S.H. Figuarts reveal for the Heisei Riders Rising Project.

While we’ve been let down many times before, the timing, secrecy, the unseen 20th Rider Kicks ride watch stage that was teased, the massive build up of anticipation, and frankly what is clearly the moon on the background of this cover, would imply that this could very well be the long awaited Kamen Rider Kiva.

There has been no confirmation of this figure’s identity yet, and this is purely speculation based. Your guess will be as good as ours, but our money is on Kiva. Confirmation one way or the other will be made officially on 10/24, when this cover is finally revealed in full.

Great news for fans of Power Rangers Ninja Steel and Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel! The first eight episodes of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel have been added to Netflix USA. Unlike previous seasons, Power Rangers Super Ninja steel is listed as “Season 2” under Power Rangers Ninja Steel. It should be easy to decipher however, as Power Rangers Ninja Steel is currently shown with a “NEW EPISODES” graphic in the title card.

7 years ago, the original S.H. Figuarts Amazon was released, we reviewed it in 2016. Looking back now, that Amazon is an extremely dated figure. Even though for it’s time it was a fantastic addition to any collection, today Bandai spoils us with so much more. Just released this month is the long awaited modern update for Amazon, S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Amazon!

The Shinkocchou Seihou subline has thus far been excellent, there’s no way to diminish how truly wonderful it’s been. But Amazon really ratchets things up. This is by far my favorite release in the line thus far, and one that really goes the distance to recreating the suit and character to near perfect detail. An excellent looking figure at the very least, Amazon also has a wealth of articulation that the original figuart lacked. While it may lack something in the accessories department, there’s no doubt that this is the definitive figure of Kamen Rider Amazon!

While Super Sentai fans celebrate VRV’s addition of Zyuranger to its services, we have some unfortunate news for fans of Ultraman; Crunchyroll has announced that several Ultraman shows will be leaving its library citing licensing issues as the main problem.

The four shows are as follows: Ultraman Leo, Ultraman 80, Ultraman Max, and Ultraman Mebius. Ultraman X will remain while nothing has been said about Orb or Geed getting taken down as of this writing.

Fans of these shows will have until October 14th, 2019 at 8 AM PST to finish watching before they get removed from Crunchyroll’s streaming service.

Good news for fans of Kyoryu Sentai ZyuRanger!

The iconic Super Sentai series has just been added to the digital streaming service known as VRV. The entire series is available for viewing, so long as viewers register as over 18.

Check out VRV’s ZyuRanger RIGHT HERE! This is a fantastic new opportunity for Super Sentai streaming, and may lead to other series in the library if successful.

Toys R Us is making a comeback! Sort of…in the aftermath of the beloved toy store’s bankruptcy, a new business venture has risen from the ashes and Geoffrey’s Toy Box may be coming to a store near you.

As reported by sister sites The Toy Ark and TFW2005, Geoffrey’s Toy Box will be a store-within-a-store concept akin to how companies like Samsung or Apple will have kiosks set up inside Best Buys and what not. This news comes after news broke out that plans to liquidate Toys R Us’ assets have halted, at the time of this writing there hasn’t been any news on when or where these stores within-a-stores will be popping up or in what capacity. The first batch of locations will be opening in November 2019.

While this seems like good news to some folks, do remember that Toys R Us’ closure left many people without jobs or severance in some cases, in addition to costing companies millions of dollars. Naturally, this move has raised a lot of eyebrows and questions in the collecting community. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this story as more info becomes available. The Toys R Us Brand still continues to operate in Canada and some parts of Asia.

LUPIN GATTAI!

Bandai’s Candy Toy blog was just recently updated with three new LupinRanger VS PatRanger mecha joining the Minipla line-up. LupinRanger VS PatRanger Minipla Series EX will contain the Magic Dial Fighter, Splash Trigger Machine, and last but certainly not least: Lupin Magnum himself.


LupinRanger VS PatRanger Minipla Series EX will be launching November 12, 2018. In the meantime, you can make the jump here and check out the plethora of images from Bandai’s blog.

ACCESS FLASH!

Studio Trigger’s SSSS.Gridman anime is well underway, having just aired its first episode earlier last weekend. Remember that awesome DX SSSS Gridman set that we first saw at Wonder Festival some time ago? Goodsmile released new photos of this set via Figsoku, giving us a much clearer look at this toy.

The pricing of this set has yet to be disclosed as of this writing, for now, all we know is that this will come out sometime “Spring 2019” according to the images shown. In the meantime, we do have these four new images to enjoy so hit the jump and check them out.

RIDER TIME!

Rejoice! For our lord Kamen Rider Zi-O has gained the power of three Kamen Riders: Kamen Rider Zi-O Hibiki, Den-O & Kabuto Armor Times are here.

Ahead of their respective DX Ride Watch releases which collectors in Japan have already managed to get their hands on. Our first look at these spiffy new armors comes from the very packages themselves which showcases what these armors should look like if and when Kamen Rider Zi-O decides to use them. These photos come courtesy of Japanese Twitter user @ultraridXXR.

Do note that these forms will be appearing in the Ganbarising arcade games there may be a possibility of these being used in a movie somewhere down the line but nothing official has been announced as of this writing. These may be considered spoilers, so be sure to make the jump at your own risk!

TOHO Animation and POLYGON PICTURES have released a new teaser trailer for the third-and final- installment in their CGI Godzilla film series!

Titled The Planet Eater, this film features the King Of The Monsters facing off against his greatest rival- the legendary King Ghidorah to determine the fate of the world!

The Planet Eater is currently scheduled for release on November 9 2018 and-like its predecessors- will be released on Netflix worldwide once the theatrical run has concluded.
