Shout! Factory Delays Power Rangers Time Force Complete Series To February 9 2016

Posted on October 13, 2015 at 8:35 am by Paladin under Power Rangers

Some disappointing news from Shout! Factory-

The release date for Power Rangers Time Force– The Complete Series has been pushed back; originally set for December 15 2015 the boxset will now be released in stores on February 9 2016.

Furthermore, Shout! has confirmed that this Time Force set will contain the edited episode footage; the originally-aired material from Time Force’s initial run has unfortunately been destroyed.

The 5-disc Time Force set is still available for preorder at the very reasonable price of 16.97 USD!

Megazord Madness Round 2 is Now Online

Posted on October 12, 2015 at 12:08 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

It’s time for another week of Megazord Madness! Round 2 is now open allowing the next round of votes to occur as well as offering you up more coupons for your Power Rangers Dino Charge purchasing needs! Click here or visit www.MegazordMadness.com to vote! It should be important to note – there was a voting discrepancy on some of the match-ups in the first round. As we enter the second round, nearly all the questionable match-ups (we’re talking votes of 12,000 to 1,200) were apparently wiped or reversed, and the apparent loser became the winner. To sum it up – nearly all the Tommy Oliver zords (Dragonzord, White Tigerzord, Falconzord, White Shogun Zord, Brachio Zord) that were losing by astronomical numbers ended up as winners and are in the second round.

NYCC 2015 – Update to info on Legacy Falconzord and Thunder Megazord

Posted on October 12, 2015 at 11:53 am by Chris under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

We reported this via our @TokuNation Twitter account yesterday, but we are also making a front page post at the behest of our friends at Bandai America who want to make sure that this information gets out to everyone as there was a lot of concern over the original details.

Regarding the Legacy Thunder Megazord: The individual zords that make up the Thunder Megazord will indeed combine with each other to form the classic attack sled just like the original release 20 years ago. The information before was uncertain but Bandai America is now confirming that the attack sled can indeed be formed by the individual zords.

Regarding the Legacy Falconzord: The original price listed in Toys’R’Us computers showed a suggested retail of $79.99. Many fans were upset as the Legacy Falconzord by itself does very little – it’s a bird that doesn’t turn in to anything and only acts as an attachment for the Ninja Megazord and the Shogun Megazord, which currently have not been announced as upcoming Legacy items but teased as such by Bandai America at NYCC 2015. Towards the end of the show, Bandai America reached out to us to confirm that the price of the Legacy Falconzord will be $59.99. This is great news for a lot of us as we believed the original price of $80 was too high.

A very special thanks to Greg Mitchell from Bandai America for the follow up on these questions. Please stay tuned as there’s a lot of great things coming from Bandai America for fans of both the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as fans of Power Rangers Dino Charge!

NYCC 2015 – Questions and Answers with Bandai America

Posted on October 11, 2015 at 2:36 pm by Chris under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

Our very own Sentai Tamashii is attending New York Comic Con 2015 and had some time to sit down with Greg Mitchell from Bandai America. We had asked on our @TokuNation Twitter account for some of the questions you guys had for Bandai America, as well as some of our own.

We asked around 12 questions and got answers for pretty much all of them!  More Ranger Keys … we remind them which ones not to forget (and it looks like they almost did!).  A 5″ Talon Ranger figure?  Why does the Legacy line continue to rise in price – especially that $80 Falonzord?  And does the Legacy Thunder Megazord have that attack sled formation?  We got the answers!  Click on “Read More” to read our Q&A!

Yoshi Sudarso to Cameo in Ninninger Next Week!

Posted on October 10, 2015 at 9:33 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, Super Sentai

File this one under totally unexpected and totally awesome! Word has just dropped on Yoshi Sudarso’s facebook page, and been officially confirmed on the Toei Ninninger site, that Yoshi will be making a brief cameo in next week’s episode of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger!

In Yoshi’s words this will only be a “quick cameo”, but this is pretty exciting and very unusual. This actually marks the first time ever that a Power Ranger actor (from the excellent Dino Charge no less!) will make an appearance in an episode of a Sentai! This episode also marks the return of Metal Hero Jiraiya! So this is going to be one very exciting extra special episode of the series.

Whether you’ve continued following Ninninger or not we think it’s safe to say that this is one episode that people across the world will be tuning in to! We’ll see you next week Yoshi!
